Woodley suffered a torn bicep in last Sunday's game and is believed to be out for the remainder of the regular season,'s Ian Rapoport reports.

Analysis: Woodley had racked up just five combined tackles through six games this season, but likely won't have a chance to improve those numbers in 2014. With Justin Tuck (knee) also looking iffy for this Sunday's contest, defensive ends C.J. Wilson and Shelby Harris would be in line for increased reps.

Turbin (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, the Seahawks' official site reports.

Analysis: Turbin made a surprise turn at fullback after Derrick Coleman suffered a broken foot during Sunday's pregame warmups. With more blocking than normal on his plate, Turbin's ailment can be explained, and he's in line to pick up another start as Marshawn Lynch's (non-injury) lead blocker Sunday at Carolina, if the Seahawks fail to bring in another FB this week.

Chancellor (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, the Seahawks' official site reports.

Analysis: Chancellor's ankle injury has lingered since initially emerging in mid-September. No matter, he's totaled 27 tackles (20 solo), two passes defended, one interception, and one forced fumble across four games in the interim. Expect him to take the field once again Sunday in Carolina, barring a setback.

Sims (ankle) was able to get some work in Wednesday, Scott Smith of reports.

Analysis: While coach Lovie Smith acknowledged that Sims is "not there yet," the running back is making progress and it's possible that the third-rounder could join the Bucs' backfield mix as soon as Week 9. Once Sims re-establishes his health, his pass-catching ability figures to earn him touches in the Tampa Bay offense, thus making him worth a roster stash in deeper formats by those with enough bench space to consider such a move.

Lynch (non-injury) didn't partake in practice Wednesday, the Seahawks' official site reports.

Analysis: Owners have little to worry about, as the Seahawks hold Lynch on the sideline during the first practice of each week. Although he represents one of the NFL's standout running backs, he hasn't topped 100 yards rushing since Week 1, which is a direct result of Russell Wilson's prowess as a runner. In the last three contests, Lynch's output has thus suffered, with an average of 15 carries for 62 yards per game, while totaling eight receptions (on 10 targets) for 64 yards and a touchdown catch. Expect him to make his presence felt in drills in short order.
