Hawkins has signed a two-year deal with the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: Hawkins caught just five passes for 62 yards this past season for the Titans after catching 47 for 470 yards in 2011. With rookies Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce not going anywhere and Danny Amendola the only New England wideout whose role out of the gate is clear, Hawkins will jostle with the likes of Donald Jones, Michael Jenkins and Julian Edelman for slotting on the Patriots' wideout depth chart.

Hawkins has been released by the Titans, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: With the drafting of Justin Hunter and the free agent addition of Kevin Walter, Hawkins was deemed expendable by the Titans. He caught just five passes for 62 yards this past season, after catching 47 for 470 yards in 2011.

Hawkins, who had a team-high 42 yards on one deep strike Sunday against Jacksonville, finished the season with five receptions for 62 yards. He also served a minor role in the return game, taking back seven kickoffs for 205 yards.
Analysis: Hawkins, who struggled with an ankle injury this season and played in just six games, will likely fall back on the depth chart and find himself a negligible fantasy commodity going into 2013, barring any drastic personnel changes or injuries.

Hawkins (ankle) will not play Sunday in Indianapolis, the Titans' official Twitter page reports.
Analysis: Sunday's game marks the fifth consecutive contest that Hawkins sits out, but his four receptions for 20 yards nonetheless leaves him with nearly negligible fantasy value.

Hawkins (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans, the Titans' official Twitter page reports.
Analysis: This is the fourth straight game Hawkins has missed, so this comes as no surprise. He has not been fantasy relevant in the four games he's played this season, catching a combined four passes for 20 yards.

Hawkins caught two passes for 20 yards in the Titans final preseason game against the Saints.
Analysis: Hawkins did not see much action in the 2012 preseason, but had a decent game in the finale. He could get some action if more than one starter is unable to play during a regular season game, but don't count on him making any real fantasy impact in 2012.

Hawkins (ankle) has been targeted with passes just three times, and has made just one catch through the first three preseason games.
Analysis: Hawkins is coming back from a 47-catch year in 2011, but he has not been involved much in the Titans' offense so far this preseason. The team appeared to be deep at receiver at the start of preseason, but with the injury to Mark Mariani (knee) and Kenny Britt slow to return from his knee surgeries, Hawkins could get some additional playing time at the beginning of the season.

Hawkins has aggravated an ankle injury that had bothered him throughout the offseason, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: Hawkins says that his ankle injury is a "ligament problem" and that he will likely need medical attention for it after the season. It is an injury that Hawkins will likely have to play through during the season. With so much depth at the receiving position for the Titans, and now this injury, it is unlikely Hawkins will hold much fantasy value in 2012.

Hawkins may find himself taking a decreased role as possibly the No. 5 receiver in the upcoming 2012 season.
Analysis: Despite Hawkins coming off his best year by far in his short career, he could still find himself battling for playing time in the upcoming season. With the Titans drafting former Baylor University receiver Kendall Wright in the first round of the 2012 draft, Hawkins is likely to be the No. 5 receiver. We may see his number diminish drastically from his 47 receptions for 470 yards of last season.

Hawkins (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Analysis: Hawkins is out there, but despite adding an eight-catch effort to his resume in Week, he's been a hit-or-miss option this season.

Hawkins had career highs in both catches (8) and receiving yards (88) in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
Analysis: This has been somewhat of a coming out year for Hawkins. He had his best receiving game of the year on Sunday, and he has played well in most of the games since becoming the No. 3 receiver for the Titans.

Hawkins could end up being a starting wide receiver against the Saints on Sunday if Nate Washington (ankle sprain) is unable to play.
Analysis: Hawkins has been playing well the last few weeks as the third receiver. It is tough to anticipate the numbers he could put up as a starting receiver against the Saints. Washington has not practiced all week with a high ankle sprain and is listed as questionable for Sunday. The running game has been the primary source of offense for the Titans in the last few weeks which could also keep Hawkins' numbers down.

The Titans' coaching staff and players are beginning to trust Hawkins' play on the field. Offensive coordinator Chris Palmer said that Hawkins "is growing by leaps and bounds," the Tennessean reports.
Analysis: In Hawkins' first three years he had just had 19 catches. Through 11 games this season he already has 29 for 300 yards and also caught his first touchdown of his career. He has become the number three receiver on the Titans since the knee injury to Kenny Britt, and he has been contributing well.

Hawkins caught five passes for 51 yards on Sunday against the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Before this Sunday, Hawkins had two straight games with just one catch. He tied his season-high in catches against the Buccaneers and has 29 catches and 300 yards receiving on the year. His role should continue to expand through the end of the year, but we don't expect significant fantasy value.

Hawkins came back to finish Sunday's game against the Bengals after injuring his thumb. He finished with a team-high five catches for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: Hawkins left in the third quarter after injuring his thumb, but returned to finish playing in Sunday's game. He ended with his first touchdown catch and his best game of the year. We'll have to monitor his status through practice this week, but he will certainly remain the third or fourth option in the Titans' passing game.
