Steelers keep Dalton in check
NFL.com's "10 Mind-Blowing Stats" for Week 16 notes, "Bengals QB Andy Dalton is 0-6 vs the Steelers and Ravens in his career. He is 17-7 vs all other teams." READ: MIND-BLOWING STATS
Analysis: Dalton's best career game against the Steelers came in Week 10 of 2011. The quarterback totaled just 170 yards passing to go with two touchdowns and two interceptions during that contest. With the Steelers secondary getting healthier, temper expectations for the quarterback.

Steelers stingy vs. fantasy wideouts
In his "Like/Dislike" analysis, Adam Rank notes, "The Steelers have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to receivers in 2012 and less than 190 passing yards in four consecutive road games." FULL LIKE/DISLIKE
Analysis: Miles Austin has topped eight fantasy points once in his last seven games (and only one touchdown during that stretch). He's had fewer than 60 receiving yards in five consecutive games.

Steelers 'D stingiest vs. fantasy RBs
In his Week 14 "Start 'Em, Sit 'Em" analysis, Michael Fabiano notes, "no defense has allowed fewer fantasy points to opposing running backs at home than Pittsburgh." FULL START 'EM, SIT 'EM
Analysis: The talented runner hasn't posted double-digit fantasy points since Week 5, and a difficult matchup against the Steelers doesn't bode well for a reversal of fortunes.

Steelers giving QBs problems
In his Week 13 "Like/Dislike" analysis, Adam Rank notes, "Joe Flacco has been good at home this year. But realize the Steelers have allowed the second-fewest points to fantasy quarterbacks this year." READ: LIKE/DISLIKE
Analysis: The Steelers have allowed one total touchdown pass in the last four games, and have allowed fewer than 180 passing yards in six consecutive games.

Roethlisberger out, Brown in
Ben Roethlisberger won't play for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week against the Baltimore Ravens, but the injury news wasn't all bad. Wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and safety Troy Polamalu (calf) are probable. FULL INJURY ROUNDUP
Analysis: Despite Brown's return to the lineup, Charlie Batch has not helped the value of Mike Wallace for fantasy owners. The speedster has scored just 1.30 total points his last two games and the return of Brown likely won't make a huge impact on his value against the Ravens.

Steelers stout vs. QBs
In his Week 13 "Start 'Em, Sit 'Em" analysis, Michael Fabiano notes against the Steelers defense, "the veteran has averaged just 224 yards with five touchdowns. Pittsburgh has also had one of the toughest defenses against quarterbacks in 2012." FULL START 'EM, SIT 'EM
Analysis: Flacco has been a good fantasy option at home overall, but this week's matchup against the Steelers makes him a risk.

Steelers plagued by turnovers
In his "Move the Sticks" report, NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah notes, "On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers turned the ball over as many times (eight) as the New England Patriots have all season." READ: MOVE THE STICKS
Analysis: Isaac Redman, Rashard Mendenhall, Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Rainey all lost fumbles during the matchup. With just 7.20 points, Rainey led all Steelers running backs. Fantasy owners won't be able to trust anyone in this backfield until a pecking order is settled.

Manning holds key to beating Steelers
In his "Week 9 matchups to watch" analysis, NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah believes Manning will be the key to victory Sunday. "Manning will need to play better this week for the Giants to keep their winning streak alive. Dick LeBeau has the Steelers defense playing much better over the past few weeks. After an inconsistent start, they have held three of their past four opponents to 17 or fewer points and are the NFL's second-rated defense, allowing 274.1 yards per game." READ: MANNING vs. STEELERS DEFENSE
Analysis: Aside from his 5.98 point performance last week, Manning has not scored fewer than 11 points this season. Don't expect a stellar game this week against a Steelers pass defense which is ranked No. 1, allowing an average of just 182 yards per game. That said, they have allowed 11 scores through the air, so Manning's output will be reliant on how many times he can score.

Steelers have good track record vs. Vick
NFL.com's Elliot Harrison believes "Pittsburgh's defense is going to give Michael Vick all he can handle. Vick looked flustered against Dick LeBeau's defense in each of the past two preseasons." FULL WEEK 5 PREDICTIONS
Analysis: Fantasy owners might want to consider looking for other options since the Steelers' defense has allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL this season (571).

Steelers, Ravens defenses among elite
In the latest Around The League defensive power rankings, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburg Steelers are among the elite projected defenses heading into 2012.
Analysis: The Ravens finished third among defenses in 2011 with 167.00 fantasy points, and the Steelers ended with only 127.00 fantasy points, good for 13th overall. While both units are expected to do well on the field in 2012, neither is projected to finish among the top ten in fantasy land.
