Floyd has looked much improved during offseason drills, the Cardinals' official site reports.
Analysis: Floyd has made a leap from where he was immediately after the draft last year to his first full offseason in 2013. Moreover, he has a competent quarterback, Carson Palmer, directing the offense this coming season, so if the two can build up a rapport, Floyd should easily surpass the 45 receptions…read more

Floyd finished 2012 with 45 receptions for 562 yards and two touchdowns.
Analysis: Floyd's numbers may seem pedestrian, but take into account the fact that former Cards' coach Ken Whisenhunt was loath to play rookies, as well as the team's horrid quarterback situation. Floyd got better as the year went on, and closed out the season with a 166-yard performance. He should shine in…read more

Floyd caught two passes for 22 yards in Sunday's loss to the Jets.
Analysis: Floyd received his first ever start as Andre Roberts was out, but Cards' quarterback Ryan Lindley was unable to get Floyd the ball, despite targeting him 10 times. Floyd holds no value as long as Lindley is behind center.

Floyd will start for the injured Andre Roberts on Sunday against the Jets.
Analysis: Floyd moves into the starting lineup, only two weeks after being demoted to the No. 4 wideout on the depth chart. With Andre Roberts inactive and Early Doucet battling back from an injury, the former Notre Dame star will try to succeed against a strong Jets' pass defense that will try to slow down…read more

Floyd caught four passes for 35 yards in the Cards' loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Analysis: Early Doucet missed Sunday's game with a rib injury, so the recently demoted Floyd moved back up to the No. 3 spot. Still, Floyd was only targeted four times and could see less playing time when Doucet returns.

Analysis: Floyd has had issues running correct routes and lining up in the right place, earning the ire of Cards' coach Ken Whisenhunt. Keep him off your rosters for the time being.

Floyd had five catches on seven targets for 80 yards Sunday against the Packers.
Analysis: Floyd's 80 yards were a career high and he now has 10 catches in the last two games combined. He's starting to get onto the same page as quarterback John Skelton and is developing into a nice third option behind Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Roberts. Unfortunately, that development will pause for a…read more

Floyd caught five passes for 36 yards in the Cards' loss to the 49ers on Monday.
Analysis: Floyd's numbers on Monday may not be great, but the fact that he was targeted 11 times, tied for most on the team, should be a promising sign. Floyd is reportedly impressing in practice, and given the Cards' lack of a running game, should continue to see passes thrown to him.

Floyd went without a catch in Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Floyd had a 22-yard touchdown grab during Thursday's preseason game against the Broncos.
Analysis: The catch was a highlight reel one but was unfortunately his only one of the night on two targets. Floyd caught one pass for three yards during Friday's preseason game against the Chiefs.
Analysis: Floyd isn't off to a great start this preseason, but neither is Andre Roberts, his primary competition for the No. 2 receiver spot. Roberts is currently listed as the starter, but Floyd will have a good shot to crack the starting lineup at some point this year, if not by Week 1.

Floyd caught one pass for 15 yards in Sunday's preseason opener.
Analysis: While Andre Roberts and Early Doucet still around to possibly cut into Floyd's upside early on, we suspect that in time the rookie will start opposite Larry Fitzgerald, a gig that could generate some solid production provided the Cards enjoy decent QB play from either Kevin Kolb or John Skelton.

Floyd is not expected to start or even surpass Early Doucet as the team's third wideout, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Analysis: Cards' coach Ken Whisenhunt has a tendency to not play rookies off the bat, and Floyd apparently came into offseason workouts a bit heavy, according to Somers. We expect Floyd to eventually take over a starting role, but that may not be until late in this season, or even next season.

The Cardinals selected Floyd in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, 13th overall.

Michael Floyd: Visit With Jets on Tap
Floyd will visit the Jets on Wednesday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Analysis: The Jets are eyeing Floyd with the 16th pick in this month's draft, but it's possible he doesn't fall that far. Michael Floyd: Plenty of Interest
Floyd visited the Panthers, worked out for the Eagles and will visit Cleveland some time this week, Carroll County Times writer Aaron Wilson reports.
Analysis: We can't see Floyd going any later than 16th (to the Jets) in the first round, and we wouldn't be surprised at this point if he ends up a top-10 pick. Both Buffalo at 10 and Carolina at nine could use more talent at receiver, and Floyd has a great deal to offer.
