Tate caught six passes for 103 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a divisional playoff loss at Atlanta.
Analysis: Tate made considerable strides in his third NFL season, though 45 receptions for 688 yards isn't much to get excited about. His fantasy value was hinged on his seven touchdowns, otherwise he didn't do much week to week. Russell Wilson's continued development will help Tate, as will another year under his belt.

Tate caught four balls for 35 yards in Sunday's win over the Redskins.
Analysis: Tate caught four of the five balls thrown his way as the Seahawks move on to take on the Falcons in the Divisional Round. Although he has seven touchdowns on the year, Tate hasn't found the endzone since Week 13 against the Bears.

Tate (illness) will play Sunday against St. Louis.
Analysis: Tate came down with an illness late in the week, but is good to go in Week 17. While he has not scored the past three contests -- fittingly, during the majority of fantasy playoff runs -- he's facing a Rams secondary that was bombarded for 15 catches for 258 yards and one touchdown by Tampa Bay wide receivers last Sunday.

Analysis: Tate hasn't scored in three weeks, but his health at least is not in question. He'll start alongside Sidney Rice (knee) on Sunday.

Tate (illness) did not practice Thursday, Sports Radio KJR reports.
Analysis: The extent of Tate's illness is unknown, but we'd be surprised if it was serious enough to keep him out of the season finale against the Rams. However, even when healthy, he has been too inconsistent to trust as a fantasy option.

Tate caught two balls for 27 yards in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
Analysis: Tate was pretty quiet, even though Seattle topped 40 points for the third consecutive week. Although he has seven touchdowns on the year, he has yet to top 100 receiving yards in a game.

Tate had three catches for 64 yards Sunday in a win against the Bills, as he was limited by the blowout nature of the game for the second week in a row.
Analysis: The Seahawks topped 50 points for the second consecutive week, which again meant fewer passes in the second half. Tate's been boom-or-bust most of the year. His receptions (40) and yards (556) don't do much, but he's scored seven times.

Tate totaled just two receptions for six yards in Seattle's blowout victory against the Cardinals on Sunday
Analysis: Tate's numbers are a major disappointment considering the team scored 58 points. It wasn't really his fault, though. The Seahawks jumped to an early lead thanks to their defense, and then had little reason to pass the rest of the game.

Seahawks 'waive' goodbye to Braylon Edwards
The Seahawks waived/injured Braylon Edwards on Tuesday in a surprise move.
Analysis: The timing of it is a surprise, but considering Edwards' lack of production this season, it won't have a big fantasy impact -- expect to end up as a couple of extra targets for Sidney Rice and Golden Tate.

Tate had five catches on six targets for 96 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Bears.
Analysis: Tate's touchdown came with 24 seconds left in regulation and felt like a game-winner when it happened, only for the Bears to come back and kick a field goal to tie it up as time expired. The 96 yards were a season-high and he's now scored four touchdowns in the last four games. He's got a great relationship with rookie quarterback Russell Wilson and as long as Wilson continues to develop as a passer, Tate's fantasy value should follow suit.

Tate caught four passes for 56 yards Sunday in a loss at Miami.

Tate had two catches on two targets for 51 yards and a touchdown, and also added a 23-yard passing touchdown Sunday against the Jets.
Analysis: The Seahawks were in control for most of the game and Tate made sure to get himself into the post-game highlights with his touchdown pass. While his yardage numbers still aren't that high, he's scored six touchdowns this season, including three in the last two games. The Seahawks are off next week, so those who have Tate in their lineup will need a replacement.

Tate had seven catches on seven targets for 64 yards Sunday against the Lions.
Analysis: A very good bounce back game for Tate, after he was held without a catch in Week 7 against the 49ers. He led the Seahawks in receptions and receiving yards Sunday and appears to be at least be on par with fellow starter Sidney Rice on the depth chart.

Tate, who was benched briefly after dropping two passes, was held without a catch on three targets in a loss at San Francisco.
Analysis: Just as Golden Tate appeared to have turned the corner in his NFL career, he turns in an unfocused, unreliable effort. Tate's drops weren't terribly difficult catches, either. The 49ers also did a good job of taking Seattle's receivers out of the game.

Tate caught three passes for 47 yards Sunday in a win against New England.
Analysis: Tate could have had a much bigger day. The Seahawks finally opened up the playbook and targeted Tate deep four times. He caught one of those for 51 yards. (A fifth deep target was nullified by pass interference.) Even though Tate didn't end up doing a ton for fantasy owners, it's a good development that the Seahawks are throwing deep.

In his Week 6 list of sleepers, fantasy expert Adam Rank notes Tate has a great matchup against a New England defense which has allowed at least 345 passing yards in three consecutive games and the seventh-most fantasy points to receivers this season. FULL SLEEPERS LIST

Tate caught one pass on three targets Sunday at the Rams for seven yards.
Analysis: That's quite a comedown after his two-touchdown game the week before. It shouldn't be a surprise, though. Tate still makes too many mistakes running routes, and the Seahawks still have a poor passing offense. That's not a promising combination no matter his athleticism.

Analysis: In a bizarre final play that may finally get the regular refs back on the field, Tate blatantly shoved Sam Shields out of the way and "caught" a Hail Mary in the corner of the end zone. Tate's first 41-yard touchdown was a thing of beauty, but he'll be remembered more for the final play Monday. He'll face off against the Rams next on a short week.

Tate caught three passes for 38 yards Sunday against the Cowboys in his season debut.
Analysis: Tate didn't do much fantasy wise, but he actually played a pretty good game -- good routes, a big hit on a Dallas linebacker, caught three of four targets. He'll continue to start at split end, but his fantasy value is limited as long as Seattle employs such a conservative game plan.

Golden Tate could get fined for his big hit on Sean Lee.

Analysis: Tate missed Week 1 as a result and was previously questionable to play Sunday against Dallas. Tate twisted his right knee in the second half of Thursday's exhibition game and did not return, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Analysis: No word on the severity of the injury. The Seahawks will evaluate him over the weekend. Tate, assuming he's healthy, could start at split end this season. Coaches praised him in training camp, though they did last year as well and that didn't amount to anything. Tate's still more athlete than receiver, but he appears to be making progress in this third year in the league.

Tate, who caught one pass for 14 yards, returned a punt return 92 yards for a touchdown in Friday's exhibition game.
Analysis: Tate could start at split end for the Seahawks. It might be more by default than anything, though. Sidney Rice is at flanker with Doug Baldwin in the slot. Braylon Edwards and Terrell Owens are also in the mix for split end, though neither has distinguished himself yet. Tate is a decent punt returner, which gives him extra value in leagues that count individual special teams. He's made progress this training camp, but he's still more of an athlete than a receiver.

Tate is no longer working out of the slot, and is being used exclusively as a split end, NFL.com reports.
Analysis: Tate isn't the Seahawks receiver most people are talking about right now, but he could be a factor this season. Seattle has an interesting collection of talent at the wide receiver position with Tate, Sidney Rice, Terrell Owens, Braylon Edwards, and Doug Baldwin all in the mix. Tate caught all four of his targets in Thursday's win over the Eagles, notching 47 yards and an 11-yard TD reception in the process.
Analysis: Tate, who was also credited with a carry for eight yards, is hardly an explosive option, but in the wake of Sidney Rice's season-ending injury, he has a chance to see enough snaps and targets to help out deep-leaguers. Tate caught his second touchdown pass of the season Sunday on his only catch in a loss against the Redskins.
Analysis: Tate is pretty much a non-factor in the Seattle passing game. His other score this season came in Week 1, again on his only reception of the game. Sidney Rice and Mike Williams suffered injuries Sunday and Tate still couldn't get involved, seeing only three targets. Tate's only in his second year (on a bad offense), so it's imprudent to label him a bust just yet, but big strides in the latter part of this season would offer hope for 2012.
