Analysis: Johnson appeared sluggish at times in Monday night's loss to Chicago, but that was likely due to being cancelled out by shutdown corner Charles Tillman more than anything. No matter, be sure to check back on his status as the weekend draws near.

Calvin Johnson: Had Bell Rung in Week 4

Johnson said Thursday that he suffered a concussion as a result of a helmet-to-helmet hit that he absorbed in Week 4's contest against the Vikings, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis: Johnson, who was rocked by a Chad Greenway hit in the fourth quarter of the game, went through a series of tests on the sidelines and subsequently returned to the contest, but he evidently had his bell rung. In any case, while hearing that Johnson might have been concussed the last time he played is not optimal, he is not even listed on the Lions' Week 6 injury report, following the team's bye week.

Analysis: Johnson dropped a ball in the end zone after getting crushed by two defensive backs and he was only able to catch five of the 12 balls thrown his way. What they do need to worry about is finding a replacement for next week, as Johnson and the Lions are on a bye.

Analysis: Crossing that landmark would be fantasy gold for owners boasting Megatron as their top wide receiver. Expect another big year from the veteran provided he stays healthy for the duration.

He was outstanding on Detroit's final possession which started on its own two-yard line, catching three passes for 75 yards and drawing a pass interference call as well. After posting one of the worst games of his career last week, Johnson responded with one of his best Sunday, routinely beating Oakland defenders down the field.
