Aaron Rodgers: Signs Contract Extension
Rodgers and the Packers agreed to a five-year, $110 million contract extension Friday, according to the Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Analysis: The deal will make Rodgers the highest paid player in NFL history. Fantasy owners should expect a big 2013 from Rodgers, who has led the league in passer rating each of the last two years.

Rodgers (lower leg) failed his after-season physical check-up and will not play in the Pro Bowl.
Analysis: It's probably for the best that Rodgers will sit out the Pro Bowl, as he'll get some needed recovery time after he was behind center for all 16 regular-season games and two playoff games for the Packers. The injury isn't expected to require any sort of procedure or limit Rodgers during his offseason training regimen.

Rodgers completed 26-of-39 passes for 257 yards with two touchdowns and one interception during Green Bay's divisional-round loss at San Francisco on Saturday. He also scampered for 28 yards on three carries.
Analysis: Rodgers played well enough, but could not match the 49ers offensivley, who exploded for 579 yards as they held the ball for nearly 38 minutes of game time. After racking up 4,295 yards with a 39:8 TD:INT ratio during the regular season, he managed at least 250 yards passing in each contest in the 2012 playoffs, while tossing three touchdowns versus one interception. With four 4,000-yard seasons and three campaigns recording at least 30 touchdown passes in five full seasons as a starter, Rodgers has staked his claim as a top-5 fantasy pick on a yearly basis.

Aaron Rodgers: Four TDs, Season-High 365 Yards
Rodgers completed 28-of-40 passes for four touchdowns and a season-high 365 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: It was a banner day for Rodgers, who was without top target Randall Cobb (ankle), but did welcome Jordy Nelson (hamstring) back in the lineup. Rodgers was able to reestablish a rapport with Greg Jennings, who finished with eight catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Rodgers will get another crack at the Vikings defense next weekend, when the division rivals play each other in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Rodgers completed 27-of-38 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns versus the Titans on Sunday. The veteran also added a rushing score during the Packers 55-7 blowout. WATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Rodgers (ankle) completed 27-of-38 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Titans. He also had four carries for 11 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.
Analysis: Rodgers was simply unstoppable Sunday, connecting with eight different receivers, while rushing for a six-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He threw touchdowns to the usual suspects of James Jones, Randall Cobb, and Greg Jennings and left early in the fourth quarter with the Packers up by more than 40 points. The Packers clinched the No. 3 seed in the NFC and can clinch the No. 2 spot, and a first round bye, especially if the Seahawks beat the 49ers on Sunday night.

Even though the Packers handed the ball off 28 times, Rodgers' 291 passing yards marked his highest total since Week 7 and helped Green Bay clinch their division. Rodgers completed 14-of-24 passes for 173 yards and added a rushing touchdown in Sunday's win over the Lions.
Analysis: The wind and snow played a factor in this one, as the Packers called 22 run plays and 24 pass plays. Rodgers had 32 rushing yards to go along with his touchdown run, but it was the second time this season that Rodgers failed to throw a touchdown pass. Rodgers still elite without top weapons
As Daniel Jeremiah notes in his "Who Has the Edge?" report, "Thanks to the play of the NFL's reigning MVP, the Packers have won six of their past seven games. Despite the absence of a credible running game and healthy receiving corps, Rodgers continues to play at an elite level on a weekly basis." READ: WHO HAS THE EDGE?
Analysis: In his Week 11 meeting with the Lions, Rodgers posted 15.74 points behind a 236 yard, two touchdown performance. At the moment, he has at least one touchdown pass in nine consecutive contests and has yet to toss up a quarterback rating under 80 in 2012. Rodgers completed 19-of-27 throws for 236 passing yards and two touchdowns, but also threw an interception Sunday against the Lions.
Analysis: Rodgers' 236 passing yards, while not spectacular considering his standards, was his highest output since Week 7. He has now thrown an interception in consecutive games, but Rodgers showed his elite ability Sunday as he engineered a six-play, 82 yard drive in the fourth quarter that ended with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Randall Cobb, giving the Packers the lead and eventual win. Next week, Rodgers will go against a Giants defense that has been vulnerable against the pass, but is also coming off a bye week and features a front-seven that could cause the Packers' offensive line some protection trouble. He threw two to Randall Cobb, one to James Jones, and another to Tom Crabtree, the latter of which was a 72-yard play to end the third quarter. Jordy Nelson, one of Rodgers' favorite targets, started the game, but was knocked out in the first quarter with an ankle injury. Rodgers completed 21-of-33 passes for 243 yards with three touchdowns and one interception Sunday against the Colts. He also added five carries for 57 yards.
Analysis: With Greg Jennings out, Rodgers connected with 10 different receivers, although none of them caught more than four passes. He threw two touchdowns to James Jones for the second week in a row, with Randall Cobb catching the other. Fantasy owners are used to seeing Rodgers throw for more yards, although it's tough to fault him when he still managed to have three passing touchdowns. He faces a very tough test next week against the Texans, who were giving up an average of 182.2 passing yards per game heading into Week 5.

Rodgers completed 31-of-41 passes for 319 yards and four touchdowns Sunday against the Saints.
Analysis: The Saints and Packers gave fans the expected offensive barrage and Rodgers' fantasy owners couldn't have been happier. He connected with eight different receivers and targeted Jordy Nelson the most (12 times). While wideout Greg Jennings went down with a groin injury and didn't return, Rodgers has enough weapons around him to make up for it if Jennings has to miss any time.

Rodgers rising in Power Rankings
In his latest "Offensive Power Rankings," Around The League editor Greff Rosenthal notes Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are "tied for 31st in the league in net yards-per-passing attempt with Cleveland and Jacksonville."
Analysis: Rodgers has struggled this season, but he could be primed to break out against the Saints 25th ranked pass defense.

Rodgers completed 26-of-39 passes for 223 yards and added two rushes for 17 yards Monday against the Seahawks.
Analysis: Rodgers was sacked eight times in the game (all in the first half) and hit numerous others, as the offense again failed to establish a rhythm. Despite just three touchdowns on the year, keep in mind Rodgers has faced the likes of the 49ers, Bears, and Seahawks stiff defenses the first three weeks, so he is an excellent buy-in option heading into a his Week 4 showdown against a Saints defense that is in shambles.

Rodgers completed 22-of-32 passes for 219 yards with one touchdown and one interception Thursday against the Bears.
Analysis: The Pack relied on the run game and their defense to depose of their division rival, so it was a bit of an off night for the reigning MVP's fantasy numbers. Rodgers does figure to get Greg Jennings (groin) back after the long week for Seattle in Week 3, so things are pointing toward a return to top tier numbers against the Seahawks.

Rodgers completed 30-of-44 passes for 303 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Rodgers also ran the ball five times for 27 yards, the latter of which led the Packers. He spread the ball around to five different receivers, all of which had at least six targets. Nevertheless, it wasn't enough against a strong 49ers defense and it doesn't get a lot easier next week when the Bears come to Lambeau.

Rodgers was 6-for-22 for 154 yards and an interception during Thursday's exhibition game.
Analysis: Rodgers did run for two touchdowns, but didn't look that sharp overall. The Green Bay offense hasn't looked all that great in three preseason games, but they've also been dealing with some injuries. It's hard to think that they won't be firing on all cylinders once the season begins.

Rodgers completed 6-of-11 passes for 59 yards and one touchdown during three series in the Packers' second preseason game on Thursday night.
Analysis: It wasn't a dazzling effort from Rodgers, but he did show that he's still got solid scrambling ability (two rushes for 24 yards) and is already gelling nicely with Jordy Nelson. There are still question marks along the team's offensive line, but Rodgers still has the skills and weapons to remain an elite signal-caller in both real and fantasy terms.

Rodgers was 2-for-8 for 16 yards and no touchdowns and one interception in the Packers' preseason opener at San Diego.
Analysis: The interception came on a fourth down play where he took a pretty good hit while in the act of throwing. After that, the coaches decided they had seen quite enough of their star quarterback and showed him where the bench was located.

Aaron Rodgers: Inactive Sunday
Rodgers is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions, the Packers' official site reports.
Analysis: As a result, Matt Flynn is going to start at QB for the Packers, a clear sign that the team is going to try to protect several of its key players in Week 17.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said during a radio interview on Friday that Matt Flynn would definitely play on Sunday.
Analysis: McCarthy made it clear that getting Rodgers out of the game and getting Flynn some playing time would be part of the game plan. What he didn't say was how much Rodgers would play. In any case, it's doubtful that Rodgers would play into the second half, if even to halftime.

Rodgers finished 21-0f-29 for 283 yards and five touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Bears.
Analysis: After throwing just three touchdowns in the last two weeks combined, Rodgers blew up for five scores Sunday. For most fantasy leagues Week 16 is championship week, so Rodgers monster game came at the perfect time. Those owners who play again next week could be in trouble if counting on Rodgers, as Green Bay has locked up the top seed in the NFC and he could be rested, or see limited action. The Packers' superstar quarterback will likely be drafted number one overall in a large percentage of leagues in 2012.

Rodgers threw for 235 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: Rodgers saved his fantasy day with a late rushing TD, but overall it was his worst game of the season. Green Bay will have everything wrapped up if the 49ers lose on Monday or next Saturday so they may choose to rest Rodgers and some other starters in the last two games.

Rodgers threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Rodgers was done before the fourth quarter in this blowout win. It wasn't a monster game that many were hoping for in their fantasy playoffs, but it wasn't a letdown either. He should have a decent matchup next week against the Chiefs.

Rodgers threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Giants.
Analysis: Rodgers continues to be one of the top fantasy players this season. Green Bay's leaky defense means that he'll need to keep putting up big offensive numbers each week.

Rodgers completed 23-of-30 passes for 250 yards and four touchdowns and added six rushes for 21 yards Monday against the Vikings.
Analysis: Rodgers was surgical again, and is now up to 28 passing touchdowns against just three interceptions. He also tied Peyton Manning's record of nine straight games with a passer rating above 100, and with the reeling Bucs on deck at home, he should have no problem eclipsing that mark.
