Johnson rushed twice for 13 yards...
Johnson rushed twice for 13 yards and caught one of his two targets for no gain in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Johnson played 17 of the Bills' 67 offensive snaps in the contest, behind Ray Davis (35) and James Cook (15). With Buffalo already locked into the No. 2 seed before the game, the Bills chose to rest many of their key players for all or most of the contest. Johnson remained in his similar role, while the rookie Davis benefitted the most with expanded playing time. The veteran will continue to operate in a supporting role behind starter Cook when the Bills host the Broncos in the wild card round of the playoffs.
Banks totaled 52 tackles (39 solo)...
Banks totaled 52 tackles (39 solo) along with 12 defensed passes and one forced fumble in 14 games (all starts) during the 2024 campaign.
Analysis: Banks missed three games late in the season due to an injury to his ribs, but he started all 14 games for which he was active. His tackle total was slightly lower than the amount he logged (64) during his rookie 2023 campaign, but Banks did increase his number of defensed passes by one, and his total of 12 paced the Giants and tied for 18th in the NFL. Banks had some struggles during the campaign and was benched for the second half of Week 8 against Pittsburgh due to a perceived lack of effort, but the Giants invested a lot in him as a first-round selection in the 2023 draft, and he'll likely be back in a starting role in 2025, when he'll be in the third year of his rookie contract.
Laulu finished the 2024 season with...
Laulu finished the 2024 season with 35 tackles (15 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass breakups across 17 games with Las Vegas.
Analysis: Laulu was a seventh-round pick by the Colts in the 2024 NFL Draft, but Indianapolis cut him after the preseason. Laulu was claimed off waivers by the Raiders, and he went on to start seven of the 17 games in which he appeared. Fortifying the defensive line will be a major area of concern for Las Vegas in the offseason. Laulu will need to again compete for a roster spot under a new coaching staff.
Snowden finished the 2024 season with...
Snowden finished the 2024 season with 39 tackles (18 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four pass breakups across 16 games with Las Vegas.
Analysis: Prior to the 2024 season, Snowden hadn't appeared in a regular-season NFL game since 2021 with the Bears, when he played a total of six defensive snaps across two games. That was the only previous action of his career. The Raiders, however, kept Snowden on their roster, and he even started nine of the 16 contests in which he played. The 26-year-old set career bests across the board and is slated to be an exclusive rights free agent. It will remain to be seen how he may fit in with the Raiders' new coaching staff.
Richardson finished the 2024 season with...
Richardson finished the 2024 season with 46 total tackles (27 solo) and three pass breakups across 12 games.
Analysis: Richardson missed the first five games of the 2024 season with a hamstring injury, but once he returned, he provided the Raiders with a valuable addition to the secondary. The rookie finished with the third-highest amount of tackles ar cornerback on the team, finishing behind Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs. Richardson could step into a more prominent role in 2025 with Hobbs heading into the offseason as a free agent.
