Gets another deal with Titans
Tennessee signed Shudak to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Shudak signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa this past offseason. The rookie then landed on the reserve/PUP list with an undisclosed injury in mid August, and he was not activated by Tennessee until Nov. 26. Shudak made his NFL debut Week 12 in place of injured starting kicker Randy Bullock, going 3-for-4 on field-goal attempts while converting his lone extra-point try. The Titans signed Shudak to their practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Shudak, who made his NFL debut in Week 12 versus the Bengals because starting kicker Randy Bullock was sidelined due to a calf issue, was added to Tennessee's practice squad Tuesday after being waived Dec. 3. The 25-year-old likely won't be elevated to the Titans' active roster for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign unless Bullock is forced to miss any more time.

Analysis: With regular starting kicker Randy Bullock back from a calf injury, the Titans saw fit to part ways with their fill-in for Week 12. Assuming he isn't picked up by another team during the current waiver period though, the rookie undrafted free agent could find his way back onto the Titans' practice squad.

Makes four kicks in NFL debut
Shudak made three of his four field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Bengals.
Analysis: Shudak was activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game and made his NFL debut. He made kicks of 33, 24 and 38 yards, but he also missed a 35-yard attempt just before halftime. Shudak will likely remain Tennessee's kicker until Randy Bullock (calf) is able to return.

Comes off PUP list
The Titans activated Shudak (undisclosed) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: An undrafted rookie signee of the Titans back in May, Shudak suffered an unknown injury near the end of the offseason program in mid-June and has resided on the PUP list since the early days of training camp. However, the team designated him for return Tuesday, and with Randy Bullock (calf) ruled out as of Saturday, Shudak will serve as Tennessee's kicker Sunday against the Bengals. In his final season at Iowa in 2021, Shudak made 24 of 28 field-goal attempts and all 36 point-after tries.
