Finally breaks plane of end zone
Woods had seven catches (nine targets) for 98 yards and touchdown in Sunday's 28-12 win over Seattle. He added 29 rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis: Woods has racked up 71 receptions and 933 receiving yards through 12 games this season, so it may come as a surprise that Sunday's score was the receiver's first touchdown of the 2019 campaign. Jared Goff simply prefers Cooper Kupp (seven touchdowns) as a target in the red zone when Todd Gurley (10 touchdowns) is not taking it in. A few more touchdowns would certainly boost Woods' fantasy value, but the veteran remains a strong PPR option for his work between the 20s heading into a tough…read more

Another big performance
Woods hauled in 13 of his 19 targets for 172 yards in the team's Week 13 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Woods had a career day, posting his highest target, reception and yardage total in a single game. The only thing missing from his performance was a trip to the end zone, though he still turned in two massive receptions of 49 and 25 yards. Though he had inconsistent involvement in the offense early in the season, Woods now has at least nine targets in each of his past three games. He'll look to remain involved as the team takes on Seattle in Week 14.

Tops team in receiving
Woods caught six of nine targets for 97 yards in Monday night's 45-6 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Woods returned to the lineup after missing Week 11 for personal reasons, and he went on to lead the Rams in receiving. In fact, he registered at least 60 more yards than any of his teammates, even though Cooper Kupp's 10 targets topped his tally. Thanks to a season-long reception of 38 yards Monday, Woods has now gone for at least 80 yards in three of his last four outings, putting him in fine form ahead of this Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals. That being said, he's still yet to catch a…read more

Returning to action Monday
Woods (personal) is active for Monday's contest against the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: After spending some time away from the Rams to tend to a family matter, Woods was present at every practice prior to this game, but coach Sean McVay wouldn't commit to the wide receiver returning to action. Having said that, Woods was seen warming up on the field Monday and even ran some routes, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Proving his readiness to take the field, Woods will suit up for the first time since Nov. 10.

Clear of injury report
Woods (personal) doesn't have an injury designation for Monday's game against the Ravens, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Analysis: Coach Sean McVay didn't fully confirm Woods' availability for Week 12 earlier Saturday, per Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com, but the fact he isn't listed on the final injury report in any capacity indicates the wideout should play. The 27-year-old was a late scratch for last Sunday's win over the Bears due to a family issue, but he was never listed on this week's injury report. Brandin Cooks (concussion) is also set to return, bringing the Rams' receiving corps back to full strength.

Status still uncertain
Woods (personal) "looks good" at practice, but head coach Sean McVay did not fully confirm whether the wide receiver would be available for Monday's game, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Woods was not listed on the team's injury report Thursday or Friday, but considering McVay wouldn't outright confirm whether his veteran wide receiver would be available after surprisingly being ruled inactive last week, it's fair to question what his status might be for the prime-time contest. More information should arrive following the team's final injury report Saturday, but fantasy owners may want to roster a potential backup option from Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET game in the unlikely event…read more

Avoids injury report
Woods (personal) wasn't listed on the Rams' injury report Thursday, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Woods was unavailable for the Rams' Week 11 matchup with the Bears as he dealt with a family matter. Returning to the team Thursday, his number of practice reps was normal, but coach Sean McVay wouldn't commit to Woods being available Monday versus the Ravens. "We'll see," McVay told Cameron DaSilva of USA Today. Thus, Woods' status may be up in the air, which doesn't help fantasy managers with the Rams taking the field after every other Week 12 participant but Baltimore.

Present for practice
Coach Sean McVay said Woods (personal) has rejoined the team and will participate Thursday in the Rams' first practice of Week 12, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Though Woods is back in the fold, McVay merely said, "we'll see," when asked if the wideout would be available for Monday's game against the Ravens. Woods stepped away from the team shortly before the Week 11 win over the Bears to tend to the family matter, so the Rams may want to see him put in at least a couple full practices during the current week before deciding on his status for gameday. If both Woods and Brandin Cooks (concussion) are deemed available versus Baltimore, the Rams would…read more

Not yet back with team
Coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Woods (personal) has yet to rejoin the Rams, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Woods left the team shortly before its Week 11 game against the Bears to tend to a family matter and doesn't have a timetable for reporting back to work. Based on McVay's comments, it's not expected that Woods will be in attendance for the team's first official practice of the week Thursday, but that wouldn't necessarily end his chances to play Monday against the Ravens. Still away from team
Coach Sean McVay didn't put a timeline on when Woods (personal) might return to the team, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Speaking to the media Monday, McVay said Woods continues to tend to a personal matter, hence the reason he missed Sunday's 17-7 win over the Bears. Until Brandin Cooks gets out of the concussion protocol, the Rams' top two options at wide receiver are Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds.

Held out for personal reasons
Woods is inactive for the Rams' Sunday night matchup with the Bears due to a personal issue, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: It's still not exactly clear why Woods will not play Sunday night, but his absence is not injury-related. Woods' status will be updated again when more information is released.

Surprise scratch Sunday
Woods (unknown) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Bears, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis: It's not immediately known why Woods is sitting out this game, as he didn't appear on the injury report at any point during the week. Woods is coming off one of his best performances of the season, as he hauled in seven of 11 targets for 95 scoreless yards in Week 10. With Brandin Cooks (concussion) also inactive, Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds will lead the receiving corps, while JoJo Natson, Mike Thomas and perhaps even Nsimba Webster rotate in.

Just misses century mark
Woods caught seven of 11 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: With Brandin Cooks (concussion) out and Cooper Kupp effectively neutralized by the Pittsburgh secondary, Woods was Jared Goff's most reliable remaining option, and he led the Rams in receiving yards. It's only the third time this season he's seen double-digit targets, and after catching 11 TD passes over the prior two campaigns Woods has yet to haul one in this year, although he does have a rushing touchdown. He'll have a hard time snapping that drought in Week 11 against a stingy and desperate…read more

Quiet in Week 8 win
Woods caught both his targets for 31 yards and rushed four times for six yards during Sunday's 24-10 win over Cincinnati.
Analysis: Woods was overshadowed by Cooper Kupp's seven-catch, 220-yard showing, and it was also No. 4 receiver Josh Reynolds who benefited most from Brandin Cooks exiting with a concussion. Reynolds turned his eight targets into three receptions, 73 yards and a touchdown. Woods has struggled to make a fantasy impact this year, as he's been held below 80 receiving yards in six of eight games and is still looking for his first touchdown.

Gets right against Falcons
Woods caught five of seven targets for 80 receiving yards and added a six-yard rush during Sunday's 37-10 win against the Falcons.
Analysis: Last week against San Francisco's No. 1 pass defense, Woods was held without a catch for the first time since the start of the 2018 season. In Week 7, however, he faced a Falcons defense that entered the weekend conceding greater than 270 yards per game through the air, and he cashed in with his second-highest receiving output of the year. Woods has a strong chance to continue providing value in Week 8, taking on a Bengals defense that gave up 27 points and more than 470 yards of total offense…read more

Scores rushing touchdown
Woods failed to catch any of his four targets and had two carries for 16 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 20-7 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Woods' afternoon started brightly enough, as the wideout received a pair of carries on the opening drive, including an eight-yard touchdown scamper to cap it off. He made no further statistical contributions, however, as an anemic showing by the passing attack saw him finish without a catch for the first time in nearly four calendar years. Modest output in loss
Woods secured five of nine targets for 48 yards in the Rams' 30-29 loss to the Seahawks on Thursday.
Analysis: Woods couldn't come close to replicating his massive 13-catch, 164-yard performance versus the Buccaneers four days earlier, but he did check in third in receptions, receiving yardage and targets on the night for the Rams. The veteran's normal range of production sits somewhere between his numbers from the last two games, making him one of the more reliable week-to-week options for fantasy purposes, albeit with relatively capped upside. Huge game in wild loss
Woods caught 13 of 15 targets for 164 yards in Sunday's 55-40 loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: The Rams found themselves in an early 21-0 hole, forcing Jared Goff to air it out the rest of the afternoon with Woods being his top option -- the catches and yards led the team, while he tied Cooper Kupp for the lead in targets. Woods had a relatively modest 143 receiving yards coming into Week 4, but he's now right back on pace for his second straight 1,200-yard campaign.

Another quiet game
Woods caught three passes (eight targets) for 40 yards and also rushed twice for 18 yards in Sunday's 20-13 win over Cleveland.
Analysis: Woods was held to a disappointing receiving total for the second consecutive week, but he did see his targets shoot back up to eight after getting just two looks against the Saints. Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks shined in this one, and quarterback Jared Goff seems to look in their direction before going to Woods. The veteran wideout does have a unique quirk in that he usually receives a carry or two per game to pad his stats a bit, but it seems he has fallen to third in the pecking order for…read more

Nets only three touches in win
Woods brought in both his targets for 33 yards and rushed once for nine yards in the Rams' 27-9 win over the Saints on Sunday.
Analysis: Woods saw a notable drop in workload after logging 15 touches in Week 1 against the Panthers, but a likely in-game adjustment of offensive strategy by coach Sean McVay once the Saints' Drew Brees exited with a hand injury had a part to play. The Rams were not forced to be as aggressive with Teddy Bridgewater under center for New Orleans, helping lead to a disappointing fantasy performance for Woods that featured his lowest touch total since joining the Rams in 2017. Gains 86 yards in win
Woods caught eight of 13 targets for 70 yards and added 16 yards on two carries during Sunday's 30-27 win over Carolina.
Analysis: After dominating defenses for much of 2018, even without talented slotman Cooper Kupp, some fans might have rightly wondered from whom Kupp would siphon targets. It wasn't Woods, who led the squad in catches, targets, and yards Sunday. The Rams have a ton of weapons and so usage will likely vary weekly based on matchup, but Woods figures to continue to be Jared Goff's security blanket. Gets decent pay raise
The Rams and Woods agreed to an altered contract Saturday, with an additional $1 million to his base salary for the 2019 season and a fully guaranteed $2 million roster bonus in 2020, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: In two seasons with the Rams and coach Sean McVay, Woods has put up per-16 marks of 81 catches (on 123 targets) for 1,143 yards and six touchdowns. On top of his contributions as a receiver, he added another 169 yards and a TD on the ground in 28 appearances. Not worried about contract
Woods is confident he will eventually receive a contract to match his performance, Gary Klein of The Los Angeles Times reports. "I go out and compete every single day, and work to be the best," Woods said. "And I just think my play will show it all. I feel like I will get what I deserve."
Analysis: The Rams were criticized for signing Woods to a five-year, $34 million deal during the 2017 offseason, but it's now one of the top bargains in the league apart from rookie contracts. The 27-year-old has averaged 71.4 receiving yards per game and 9.3 yards per target in 28 regular-season appearances for Los Angeles, adding 26 catches for 314 yards in four playoff games. In addition to a career-high mark of 1,219 receiving yards, Woods supplemented his 2018 production with 19 carries for 157…read more

Totals 70 receiving yards
Woods caught five of 10 targets for 70 yards and added a five-yard carry during Sunday's 13-3 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Woods was one of two Rams players to receive double-digit targets, but he was only able to catch half of the balls thrown his way. He also struggled to make big plays, as his longest gain went for just 18 yards. It was still an improvement over his performance against the Saints in the NFC Championship Game, but Woods couldn't do enough to help his team to a better offensive performance. Limited in NFC Championship
Woods brought in six of 10 targets for 33 yards during the Rams' 26-23 overtime over the Saints in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. He also lost three yards on two rushes.
Analysis: Woods saw his usual robust workload in terms of targets, but he wasn't anywhere near as successful in racking up his customary production in receiving yardage. He did see a chance for a big gain go by the wayside when Jared Goff failed to put the ball ahead of him on a slant in the second half, which kept the play to a more modest gain when Woods lost his balance after the catch. Analysis: Woods was the Rams' most reliable pass catcher throughout the regular season, putting up 14 consecutive showings with five receptions or 70 receiving yards between Weeks 2 and 16 before being held to two catches for 24 yards in the finale against San Francisco. Strikes through ground and air
Woods brought in six of seven targets for 89 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for 15 yards and another score in the Rams' 31-9 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Analysis: Woods paced the Rams' pass catchers in both receptions and receiving yardage while scoring through both the ground and air. He got his day off to a rousing start when he answered an early Cardinals field goal with a four-yard rushing touchdown, a play he bookended by tallying Los Angeles' final points of the day on a 39-yard scoring grab in the fourth quarter. Solid line in defeat
Woods caught seven passes (nine targets) for 74 yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Eagles. He also added 19 rushing yards on his lone carry.
Analysis: Woods led all Rams wideouts in receptions and yards, but Josh Reynolds took the honors of most targets (five receptions on 12 targets) this week. Still, Woods remains one of Jared Goff's most-trusted receivers, not finishing under 60 receiving yards in any contest since Week 1. It is unclear which Rams receiver will draw shutdown corner Patrick Peterson in Week 16, but expect Woods to find a way to stay involved (as he has all season) and provide a high fantasy floor, especially in PPR formats.

Analysis: Woods was the only Rams offensive player to post a usable fantasy stat line in what was an otherwise forgettable game. The veteran dominated the target share with 13, while no other Rams receiver saw more than seven. Woods brought in five of nine targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 30-16 win over the Lions on Sunday. He also rushed twice for 11 yards.
Analysis: Woods paced Rams pass catchers in receptions, receiving yardage and targets, and he also accounted for Jared Goff's sole passing touchdown of the afternoon with an eight-yard scoring grab in the second quarter. The veteran wideout now has touchdowns in back-to-back games for the second time this season and has logged at least seven targets in seven of his last eight contests. Analysis: Woods started Monday's scoring barrage with a seven-yard touchdown during the first quarter, marking his first trip to the end zone since Week 4. Although he wasn't too efficient while seeing double-digit targets for the third time this season, Woods at least hauled in four passes and topped 70 yards for the 10th straight game. Plays major role in win
Woods caught four of five targets for 89 yards, adding three rushes for 17 yards during the Rams' 36-31 victory against Seattle on Sunday.
Analysis: Woods has been a symbol of consistency in the Rams passing attack, with five-plus receptions or 85 receiving yards in every game since Week 1 -- among NFL wideouts, only Antonio Brown and Julio Jones can say the same. He's had more than the requisite number of targets to remain a viable fantasy WR2 (7.9 per game), and with Cooper Kupp (knee) now pending a potential season-ending diagnosis, that work share is likely to trend upward if anything.
