Practices in full Thursday
Joseph-Day (biceps) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Analysis: Joseph-Day was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a biceps injury he may have suffered during Tennessee's Week 11 loss to Minnesota this past Sunday. He was able to participate in all team drills during Thursday's session, indicating that he will be good to go against the Texans on Sunday. In the six regular-season games since the Titans' Week 5 bye, Joseph-Day has logged 13 tackles (five solo), including 0.5 sacks.

Analysis: Joseph-Day logged one solo tackles across 35 snaps (31 on defense, four on special teams) during the Titans' 23-13 loss to the Vikings this past Sunday, but he may have injured his biceps in the process. The 2018 sixth-round pick will have two more chances this week to return to practice in at least a limited capacity, which would give him a chance to play against the Texans on Sunday. Through 10 regular-season games, Joseph-Day has logged 25 tackles (11 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and one pass…read more

Joseph-Day registered three tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended in Sunday's 24-17 loss to Chicago.

Cut loose by L.A.
The Chargers waived Joseph-Day on Friday.
Analysis: The fifth-year defensive lineman had started all 14 of the Chargers' games thus far, recording 31 total tackles, including three tackles for loss (all of which were sacks). Records season-high five tackles
Joseph-Day collected a season-high five tackles and a sack during Sunday's 28-17 loss to Miami.
Analysis: This was Joseph-Day's best showing of the 2020 campaign and his fourth career five-tackle game. He's ceding a few defensive snaps to fellow defensive tackle Greg Gains, as the Rams continue to rotate their defensive linemen. All-Pro Aaron Donald helps create opportunities for his teammates with opponents keying on him, so Joseph-Day will have chances to pad his stat line. However, the nose tackle probably still isn't a weekly fantasy option in most settings.

Likely to start in base defense
Joseph-Day is expected to start in the Rams' 3-4 base defense, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: With A'Shawn Robinson deemed out indefinitely with a cardiovascular condition, it comes as little surprise that Joseph-Day will fill the void after starting 15 games last year. The sixth-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft recorded a modest 44 tackles (25 solo) and two sacks through 16 games last season while posting an underwhelming 63.0 PFF grade. While there could be improvement in Joseph-Day's second full season, it's probably best to take a wait-and-see approach in most IDP settings.

Registers 44 tackles
Joseph-Day recorded 44 tackles (25 solo), two sacks and a pass breakup over 16 games in 2019.
Analysis: After not playing in his rookie season, Joseph-Day garnered a starting role in his second year. He averaged 30.5 defensive snaps per game, and he was a valuable member of the Rams' sturdy run defense. The 24-year-old has two years remaining on his rookie contract.
