Analysis: The Ravens surprisingly went away from using Edwards against the Titans despite the second-year running back ripping off 6.7 yards per carry. Edwards finished the regular season with 133 carries for 711 yards (5.3 YPC) and two touchdowns, proving to be a reliable option out of the backfield behind Mark Ingram and Lamar Jackson. He is set to hit free agency this offseason, but given his skill set and familiarity with the system, Baltimore will likely attempt to retain him.

Could see bigger role Saturday
Edwards could be leaned on out of the Ravens' backfield Saturday against the Titans if Mark Ingram (calf) is limited or sidelined, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Edwards was the lead RB option Week 17 when Ingram rested a tight calf, totaling 22 touches for 132 yards from scrimmage. After the Ravens' first-round bye, Ingram didn't practice until Thursday, when he was limited, and received a questionable designation for the upcoming divisional-round matchup. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Ingram is "expected to play," but Edwards is on hand in the event the former's ability to get on the field is at all compromised.

Edwards rushed eight times for 112 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 41-7 win over the Texans on Sunday.
Analysis: Edwards put an exclamation point on the big win with a 63-yard touchdown rumble at the four-minute mark of the fourth quarter, marking his second rushing score of the campaign. His opportunity came as a result of game script, however, so expectations should be tempered, despite the big play. Analysis: Even in a blowout, Edwards didn't factor into the game script much as he played just 11 offensive snaps, which marked a new season low. His four carries were his lowest since Week 2, when he posted three rushes for 11 yards. One reason for optimism regarding Edwards' stat line is that the Ravens ran just 45 plays and had the ball for a mere 23:49, so it's not as though the Ravens were leaning heavily on the other running backs.
