One carry in win
Hill had a three-yard run during Sunday's 20-17 win over the 49ers.
Analysis: Hill had two of his busier days of the season in Weeks 11 and 12 in blowout wins over the Texans and Rams, with many of his carries coming in the second half with the game well in hand. Those opportunities weren't available during Sunday's slugfest and it wouldn't be a surprise if the red-hot Bills keep it close against the Ravens on Sunday. Buffalo has one of the best pass defenses in the game, but -- fortunately for Hill and Baltimore's backs -- the Bills have been more generous on the…read more

Enjoys season-best usage
Hill ran for 27 yards on eight carries during Monday's 45-6 win over the Rams.
Analysis: Hill's eight carries set a season high, but half of his carries came in fourth-quarter garbage time. The rookie gets more work than your average No. 3 RB thanks to Baltimore's run-heavy attack, but he's still not somebody you should be looking to on Sundays. That is especially true this Sunday against the league's top defense, the 49ers, though San Francisco has been more generous against the run than the pass this season.

Six total touches in win
Hill had five carries for 18 yards and caught his lone target for nine yards in Sunday's win over the Texans.
Analysis: The rookie continued to see minimal time on the field, playing just eight snaps. Hill's usage when in the game was significant, though, as he had six total touches on those eight snaps, and he averaged 4.5 yards per touch. As long as Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards remain as a healthy and productive 1-2 punch behind Lamar Jackson in the Baltimore backfield, there won't be a path for Hill to have much of a role.

Generates 11 yards
Hill rushed three times for 11 yards in Sunday's 49-13 win over the Bengals.
Analysis: Hill has struggled to get onto the field behind Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards, so a blowout such as this should've provided an excellent opportunity to increase his workload. However, the rookie fourth-rounder continued to manage a minimal role, as he logged 12 of a possible 47 offensive snaps (26 percent). It'll be tough to rely on Hill for fantasy purposes during Week 11's contest against the Texans, which shapes up to be a much closer matchup.

Reclaims minor role against Pats
Hill had three carries for seven yards Sunday against the Patriots.
Analysis: After seeing his usage bottom out in Seattle, Hill got himself slightly more involved in the offense coming off the bye against New England. He played 10 snaps and got work on three of those plays, though Hill was ineffective on those runs as he averaged just 2.3 yards per carry. Hill hasn't played more than seven snaps in any game this season and has has played five-or-less snaps in four of his last five outings.

No usage Sunday
Hill had no carries or targets in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: Sunday marked a bottoming out of Hill's role in the offense as he had no touches for the first time all year and played a season-low four snaps. Hill is still active on special teams and had 21 kick return yards but he has seemingly lost his spot in the backfield rotation. Hill and the Ravens are on a bye before returning to action Nov. 11 against the Patriots.

Rushes for 31 yards
Hill ran for 31 yards on five carries during Sunday's 23-17 win over Cincinnati.
Analysis: Hill's 31 total yards set a season high. The total was fueled by three runs of at least six yards after not having such a run in four consecutive weeks. Hill is in a very crowded backfield with Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards that is made all the more tight with the running ability of Lamar Jackson. Hill might not get many carries, but could break a few against a Seahawks team surrendering 4.7 yards per carry, 22nd in the league.

Disappearing from offense
Hill had two carries for seven yards Sunday against the Steelers.
Analysis: The rookie's role is bottoming out; Hill played just five offensive snaps -- a season-low -- on a day where the Ravens had 81 plays. Hill hasn't seen more than two carries in any game since the season-opener, and his primary usage is as a kick returner. Unless Hill can somehow overtake Gus Edwards for the backup role behind Mark Ingram, he'll continue to fly below the fantasy radar.

Minor role against Browns
Hill had two carries for eight yards and caught both of his targets for nine yards in Week 4 against the Browns.
Analysis: The rookie's snap count bounced back to 16 after bottoming out at 11 in Week 3. He still wasn't very involved in the offense, though, as he got just four total touches. Hill's season high for carries remains at seven, and those came in a blowout win over the Dolphins in the opener. Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards and Lamar Jackson all running the ball effectively leaves very little work in the backfield for Hill.

Role continues to diminish
Hill had one carry for one yard Sunday against the Chiefs and did not catch any of his three targets.
Analysis: The rookie's snap count has dropped each week since the season opener, bottoming out at just 11 on offense Sunday. Hill only had one carry and was unable to do anything with it while the likes of Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards had no problem running on the Chiefs defense, averaging 6.4 and 7.6 YPC, respectively. Edwards' strong day is particularly worrisome for Hill as it now appears that the rookie is clearly the No. 3 back in this offense. Hill and the Ravens will host the Browns in Week 4.

Minimal involvement in Week 2
Hill had one carry for four yards and added one catch for 10 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Mark Ingram was on the field for 46 of the Ravens' 79 plays, while Hill and Edwards each saw 16 snaps. Hill came just shy of scoring his first career touchdown on his 10-yard reception but was otherwise uninvolved in the offense for the most part. His ability as a pass catcher should get him on the field over Gus Edwards in passing down situations when Mark Ingram needs a breather, but Hill doesn't seem to have a projectable and consistent role at this stage.

Quiet in debut
Hill had seven carries for 27 yards in his NFL debut Sunday against the Dolphins.
Analysis: The rookie was third in the pecking order for carries Sunday, with Mark Ingram (14 carries) and Gus Edwards (17 carries) seeing considerably more work. Hill also did not factor into the passing game, seeing zero targets over his 23 snaps. Though Hill possesses the best big-play ability in this backfield and should see his role expand as the season progresses, it seems as though the Ravens trust Ingram and Edwards to handle the bulk of the backfield work for now.

Chance for early impact
Hill enters the season primed for a role in the Baltimore offense.
Analysis: The rookie fourth-rounder is in the mix for backfield work right away in Baltimore's run-heavy system. Mark Ingram is the No. 1, but Hill has a chance to make a bigger impact than Gus Edwards. Hill has speed unlike any other back on the Baltimore roster, and his pass-catching ability, while not as polished as Mark Ingram's, is superior to that of Edwards', which should help him get some third-down work before long. The Ravens draw a favorable matchup against a Miami team that ranked just 24th…read more

Struggles in start
Hill got the start in Thursday's preseason win over the Eagles, taking seven carries for eight yards and catching two of three targets for another eight yards.
Analysis: The Ravens held out a slew of key players, including Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram, Kenneth Dixon, Gus Edwards and three projected starters on the offensive line. The Eagles, on the other hand, used most of the top players from a talented defense, leaving Hill with a tricky mismatch in what could be his final appearance of the preseason. If so, the rookie fourth-round pick will finish with 27 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown and four catches for 24 yards on five targets. Hill's highlights…read more

Scores in victory
Hill rushed 10 times for 49 yards and a touchdown in Thursday night's 26-13 preseason win over the Packers.
Analysis: Hill scored from one yard out to begin the second half, punctuating an impressive performance. Although he worked behind Mark Ingram, Kenneth Dixon and Gus Edwards, Hill made a nice case for more run going forward, finishing as Baltimore's leader on the ground. The rookie fourth-rounder could perhaps further his case by getting involved in the passing game in next week's exhibition outing against the Eagles.
