Analysis: Washington held Sims out of Wednesday's practice due to a toe injury, so his elevation to some work Thursday is a step in the right direction as the team prepares for Sunday's game at Cleveland. So far this season, he's a close second in offensive snap share (86.8 percent) behind No. 1 wide receiver Terry McLaurin (93.4). That said, Sims has accounted for just six catches (on seven targets) for 103 yards and no touchdowns through two games.

Sims isn't practicing Wednesday due to a toe injury, Kyle Stackpole of Washington's official site reports.
Analysis: Sims played 91 percent of offensive snaps in Sunday's 30-15 loss to the Cardinals, catching three of five targets for 53 yards while losing a fumble on a punt return. His usage in that game suggests the toe injury isn't serious, or else he suffered it at the very end of the game. A return to practice Thursday would put Sims on track to suit up Sunday in Cleveland.

Sims caught three of five targets for 53 yards in a 30-15 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.
Analysis: The usage was a bit more promising than the stat line suggests, as both incompletions were on downfield throws and Sims also had two would-be targets wiped out by defensive penalties. On a less promising note, he lost a fumble on a punt return, setting up the Cardinals for a 14-point lead early in the game. Sims played 91 percent of snaps on offense, in addition to handling both punt and kick returns. He appears locked in as Washington's No. 2 receiver ahead of a Week 3 trip to Cleveland.

Sims caught each of his three targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Eagles, playing 83 percent of snaps on offense.
Analysis: Sims also took five punt returns for 17 yards and lined up as the deep man for kickoffs (all of which were touchbacks). His target total may have been disappointing, but the playing time and efficiency suggests he's the clear No. 2 receiver behind Terry McLaurin. Scores two TDs vs. Giants
Sims caught six of 10 targets for 64 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 41-35 loss to the Giants. He also carried two times for nine yards.
Analysis: Sims led the team in targets while adding receiving touchdowns in the first and third quarters. He hadn't received more than four targets in any game prior to Week 14, but he's been thrown to 28 times over the last three weeks while hauling in 15 of those targets and scoring three touchdowns.
