Joins Rams' active roster
Reeder has been signed to the Rams' active roster ahead of their season-opening game in Seattle, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Analysis: Reeder will help provide depth to the Rams' second level linebacker unit behind Ernest Jones and Christian Rozeboom. Reeder will also be available to contribute on special teams should he be asked to do so.

Comes to terms with Minnesota
Reeder agreed to a contract with the Vikings on Wednesday, Lindsey Young and Craig Peters of the team's official site report.
Analysis: Reeder is coming off of the worst season of his career, logging 11 tackles (six solo) while playing almost exclusively on special teams over his 17 appearances for the Chargers. In Minnesota, the 28-year-old linebacker is expected to fill a similar depth role on defense while being a fixture on special teams during the 2023 season.

Signs one-year deal with Chargers
Reeder signed a one-year contract with the Chargers on Saturday, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Analysis: Reeder appeared in all 17 regular-season games (10 starts) for the Rams last season, but they opted not to tender the linebacker, which would've allowed them to match the offer he got from the Chargers. Regardless, the undrafted linebacker out of Delaware now will join the other team in Los Angeles and attempt to bolster what was a porous run defense from a year ago.

Won't be tendered
The Rams do not intend to tender Reeder as a restricted free agent, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Reeder played well for Los Angeles last season, appearing in all 17 regular-season games (with 10 starts), but the team appears comfortable with letting him test his market as a free agent. Since joining the team as an undrafted rookie back in 2019, Reeder has spent his entire NFL career with the Rams.

Good to go for divisional round
Coach Sean McVay said Friday that Reeder (ankle) is good to go for Sunday's divisional-round matchup with the Buccaneers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Reeder quietly popped up on the injury report this week after being a limited participant during Wednesday's walkthrough and Thursday's practice. However, the issue doesn't appear to be serious, and he will head into the weekend without an injury designation. The outside linebacker has totaled 91 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions in 17 appearances this season.

Limited at practice
Reeder (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: The linebacker was estimated as a limited participant for Wednesday's walk-through session and was limited again at Thursday's practice. Reeder's ability to participate Thursday bodes well for his chances to play in Sunday's divisional-round contest versus the Buccaneers, though his status at Friday's practice will provide a clearer indication.

Activated from COVID-19 list
Reeder (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
Analysis: Reeder landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, but he'll be able to rejoin the team ahead of Tuesday's matchup against Seattle. The 27-year-old has totaled 17 tackles (seven solo) across the last three games and could see an uptick in playing time Tuesday since several other linebackers remain on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Added to COVID-19 list
Reeder (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
Analysis: Reeder was among nine players on the Rams' roster to be added to the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. It's possible that he's able to suit up for Sunday's game against Seattle regardless of whether he tested positive for the virus or was merely a close contact. Though Reeder's playing time has trended down of late, he's still been a key figure on special teams.

Records season-high in tackles
Reeder recorded 13 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 36-28 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Reeder has now posted two consecutive games with at least 11 tackles, as he is emerging as the Rams' top linebacker. The 27-year-old is in for another high-usage game against a run-heavy Jacksonville offense.

Posts season-high tackle total
Reeder recorded 11 tackles (three solo) during Monday's 31-10 loss to San Francisco. He also led all Los Angeles linebackers in defensive snaps.
Analysis: The third-year linebacker has picked up an impressive 28 tackles (11 solo) through the past four games, and that includes his two-tackle showing last week. While Reeder might not be a must-start option in IDP settings, he's proving to have a respectable fantasy floor, and his playing time is on the rise. Just note, Los Angeles is on a bye this week, and Reeder might not be worth a bench stash.

Solid tackling day
Reeder notched seven tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 38-22 win over the Texans.
Analysis: Reeder now has 15 tackles in his last two appearances, his two highest marks of the season. Though Reeder is still difficult to trust for fantasy purposes in most IDP formats, it will be worth monitoring his involvement versus the Titans in Week 9.

Wraps up season-high eight tackles
Reeder recorded eight tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 28-19 win over Detroit.
Analysis: While the tackle total was a season-high mark, Reeder is probably still off the fantasy radar in most IDP settings. He hasn't been receiving a high enough snap share consistently enough to be a reliable producer week in, week out.

Secures first interception
Reeder had four tackles (all solo) and an interception during Sunday's 27-24 win over the Colts.
Analysis: Reeder played 64 percent of the defensive snaps and picked off Carson Wentz in the red zone during the second quarter for the first interception of his career. The 27-year-old recorded four tackles in each of the first two games of the season and will need to up his tackle production to be a consistent IDP option after totaling 81 tackles in 2020.

Turns in huge second half
Reeder recorded 81 tackles (53 solo), three sacks and two pass breakups over 16 appearances during the 2020 regular season.
Analysis: The 26-year-old linebacker was elevated into an extended role in place of Micah Kiser (knee) down the stretch and was highly productive, totaling 80 tackles (44 solo) over Los Angeles' final six regular-season games and two postseason contests. If he earns a full-time starting spot heading into 2021, Reeder will be worth considering in most IDP formats.

Posts 11 tackles again
Reeder had 11 tackles (six solo) during Sunday's loss to the Seahawks.
Analysis: The 26-year-old has reached double-digit tackles in four of the last five games while working as a starter at inside linebacker. Reeder took over the starting role with Micah Kiser (knee) on injured reserve and has 54 tackles (34 solo) and two passes defensed in five games.

Notches 11 tackles in loss
Reeder collected 11 total tackles and one pass deflection during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Jets.
Analysis: An injury to Micah Kiser (knee) continues to open up opportunities to Reeder, as the Delaware standout has started each of the past four weeks after registering just one start over his first 10 appearances of 2020. When given a substantial role, Reeder has produced, reaching double-digit tackles in four of his five starting opportunities while collecting three sacks in a breakout Week 5 effort against Washington.

Puts up 10 tackles
Reeder recorded 10 tackles (six solo) and a pass breakup in Sunday's 38-28 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Reeder has played more than 26 percent of the snaps on defense on just three occasions during his second NFL season. Each time, he posted 10 or more stops. The 26-year-old linebacker will remain in the starting role for at least the Week 14 matchup against New England. Micah Kiser (knee) is eligible to return in Week 15, so Reeder could revert to a reserve role at that time.

Shows off in starting role
Reeder recorded 15 tackles (12 solo) during Sunday's 23-20 loss to San Francisco.
Analysis: It was a career day for the second-year linebacker, as Reeder took advantage of his starting opportunity. With Micah Kiser (knee) sidelined, look for Reeder to continue posting high tackle totals and providing reliable fantasy production. He should be rostered in the majority of IDP settings for the duration of Kiser's absence.

Makes most of starting role
Reeder recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) and three sacks during Sunday's 30-10 win over Washington. He was also credited with two tackles for a loss and three quarterback hits.
Analysis: With Mitch Kaiser (groin) sidelined Sunday, Reeder returned to a starting role for the first time this season, playing 48 of 54 defensive snaps and capitalizing on his opportunity. Reeder was a serviceable fantasy contributor when given an opportunity last season, and he should see more playing time while Kaiser is injured.

Slated to start Sunday
Reeder is expected to start at inside linebacker Sunday against Washington following news that Micah Kiser (groin) is inactive, Eric D. Williams of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Reeder played his first defensive snaps of the season last week and likely will be called on again, although Justin Hollins could rotate in as well. Over 18 defensive snaps, Reeder recorded three tackles.

Excels in situational duty
Reeder played 300 defensive and 306 special-teams snaps this season and recorded 58 tackles (36 solo).
Analysis: The undrafted free agent carved out a meaningful role with the Rams this season and received consistent defensive snaps in the linebacker rotation. Reeder was particularly successful in Weeks 5 and 6 when he collected an impressive 24 tackles (16 solo). If he receives more playing time next year, the 24-year-old linebacker's fantasy value should also increase.
