Mostly quiet in loss
Davis-Gaither recorded five tackles (one solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 37-14 loss at Cincinnati.
Analysis: Davis-Gaither trailed far behind rookie fourth-rounder Cody Simon in terms of snaps at linebacker in Week 17, logging just 40 to Simon's 74. Predictably, he also lagged behind Simon in the tackle category. He's still on the IDP radar in some formats going into a Week 18 matchup against the Rams.

Cards' leading tackler in loss
Davis-Gaither recorded 10 tackles (four solo) during Sunday's 20-17 loss at Tampa Bay.

He's on pace for the first 100-plus tackle season of his career as Arizona heads into a Week 14 matchup versus the Rams, and he profiles as a viable IDP option for that contest in some formats.

The veteran defender also came up with his first interception of the campaign when he picked off Trevor Lawrence late in the third quarter. Davis-Gaither has posted 75 tackles through 11 games this season and is approaching his regular-season career-high mark of 82, which he established last year with Cincinnati.

Makes four tackles
Davis-Gaither recorded four tackles (one solo) in Sunday's 41-22 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Davis-Gaither maintained his typical role of playing around three-quarters of defensive snaps. However, he was held to a season-low four tackles and also failed to record multiple solo stops for the first time in the campaign. Despite the disappointing game, Davis-Gaither should easily set a new career high in tackles.

Leads team in tackles again
Davis-Gaither recorded eight tackles (five solo) and a pass breakup in Monday's 27-20 win over the Cowboys.
Analysis: Davis-Gaither, who continues to start in place of the injured Logan Wilson (knee), also led the Bengals in tackles, with 13 (five solo), in the team's Week 13 loss to the Steelers. The linebacker played on 98 percent and 88 percent of the defensive snaps, respectively, in those two games, by far his highest snap counts of the season. Wilson is on injured reserve and likely out for the season, so Davis-Gaither should get to continue his opportunity over the campaign's final month.

Davis-Gaither tallied 13 tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 44-38 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Davis-Gaither got the start at linebacker Sunday due to Bengals' leading tackler Logan Wilson being sidelined with a knee injury. Davis-Gaither took advantage of the opportunity, tying Germaine Pratt for most tackles on the team while playing a season-high 65 defensive snaps. Starting sans Wilson
Davis-Gaither will start Sunday's game against the Steelers, NFL reporter Charlie Goldsmith reports.
Analysis: With the Bengals' leading tackler, Logan Wilson (knee), sidelined, Davis-Gaither will make his first start of the season. He's played a consistent, limited role thus far and logged a season-high 22 defensive snaps against the Panthers in Week 4. In 2022, Davis-Gaither posted a career-high 13 tackles across 53 defensive snaps against the Jets and had another double-digit tackle tally that same season, so he's proven worthy of IDP consideration with extended action before.
