Nabs interception in return
Flott registered three tackles (all solo) and an interception in Sunday's 34-7 Week 16 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Flott returned from a two-game absence that was caused by a quadriceps injury. He recorded his first interception of the campaign just before halftime, picking off a Michael Penix pass in the end zone after the ball was tipped by Kyle Pitts. Flott played 61 percent of New York's defensive snaps in the contest as the team elected to deploy a rotation at cornerback that included Deonte Banks and Adoree' Jackson in addition to Flott, while Dru Phillips missed just two snaps from the slot.

Cleared to play Sunday
Flott (quadriceps) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Falcons and is expected to play, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: Flott will return from a two-game absence and give the Giants' secondary a boost ahead of a matchup with rookie QB Michael Penix and WRs Drake London and Darnell Mooney. Through 11 appearances this season, Flott has 45 tackles (30 solo) and six pass breakups.

Limited Wednesday
Flott (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Analysis: The third-year corner from LSU was sidelined for the Giants' Week 15 loss to the Ravens due to a quadriceps injury, so Wednesday's limited session could be a step toward him returning to the field. Flott's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely serve as the best indication of whether he can play through the issue in Week 16, when the Giants face the Falcons.

Not playing Week 15
Flott (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's battle against Baltimore, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Flott was active despite the quad injury last Sunday against the Saints, but he didn't end up seeing the field. The third-year cornerback continues to be bothered by the issue and won't suit up versus the Ravens. Deonte Banks (ribs) is also inactive Sunday, so Adoree' Jackson and Art Green will likely handle cornerback duties against Baltimore.

Unlikely to face Baltimore
Flott (quadriceps) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Flott missed last week's loss to the Saints and appears likely to be absent for Week 15. Top CB Deonte Banks (ribs) is questionable after a two-game absence. If neither can play, the Giants will likely again roll with Adoree' Jackson, Tre Hawkins and Greg Stroman at cornerback.

Still nursing quadriceps injury
Flott (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Flott was able to play through quadriceps and knee injuries in Sunday's loss to the Saints, recording five total tackles and two passes defended over 67 defensive snaps. His limited practice session Wednesday is likely precautionary, however, he could be in jeopardy of missing the Giants' Week 15 game against the Ravens if he can't play through his injuries again.

Will suit up against Saints
Flott (quadriceps/knee) is active for Sunday's Week 14 tilt against New Orleans, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Flott was a late addition to New York's injury report when he was deemed questionable Saturday, but he'll be able to take the field against the Saints. The third-year cornerback will fill his usual starting role, and he'll be paired with Adoree' Jackson since Deonte Banks (ribs) is missing another game. Flott has logged at least 90 percent of New York's defensive snaps in each of his past two contests.

Questionable for Week 14
Flott (quadriceps/knee) is questionable to play Sunday against the Saints, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Flott wasn't listed on the injury report for any of the Giants' three practices this past week, but he is now dealing with knee and quadriceps injury that put his status for Sunday's game into question. His official status for Sunday's game may not be known until the Giants announce their inactives list approximately 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. With Deonte Banks (rib) already out and Flott potentially sidelined as well, the Giants would turn to Art Green and Adoree' Jackson to…read more

Flott (groin) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Commanders, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Flott logged a week of limited practice sessions after missing the Giants' Week 8 loss to the Steelers due to a groin issue. Expect the third-year pro to serve as the Giants' No. 3 outside cornerback behind both Deonte Banks and Nick McCloud in Week 9 now that he's returned to full health.

Opens week limited
Flott (groin) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
Analysis: Flott suffered a groin injury in Week 7 against the Eagles, which was severe enough for him to be ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Steelers. He'll have two more chances to upgrade his practice participation this week ahead of Sunday's NFC East clash against the Commanders. Across seven regular-season outings, Flott has logged 30 tackles (20 solo) and three pass breakups.

Doubtful for Monday's game
Flott (groin) was limited in practice Saturday and is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Steelers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Analysis: Flott has logged back-to-back limited practice sessions, but it looks like he nonetheless is trending in the wrong direction for Monday Night Football. Tre Hawkins will stand to inherit an expanded role on defense if Flott is indeed ruled out for Week 8.

Upgrades to limited work
Flott (groin) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Flott was unable to practice Thursday after sustaining a groin injury in the Giants' Week 7 loss to the Eagles. However, the third-year pro upgraded to limited participation Friday, suggesting he could suit up for Monday night's matchup against the Steelers. Flott's participation Saturday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play through his groin issue in Week 8.

Leaves game with groin injury
Flott is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Eagles due to a groin injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Absent from injury report
Flott (quadriceps) was not listed on the Giants' injury report Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Flott sustained a quadriceps injury in mid-August, which kept him out of the Giants' final two preseason games. Now that he's healthy, he'll be able to work with the first-team defense during practice. The 2022 third-round pick is slated to start at corner opposite Deonte Banks, with Adoree' Jackson providing depth at the position.

Remains week-to-week
Flott is still considered week-to-week with a quad injury, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Analysis: The 2022 third-round pick out of LSU missed the Giants' last week of practice with this quad issue, and it appears that he still needs more time before returning to the field. While Flott remains sidelined, expect Darnay Holmes and Tre Hawkins to see more reps with the Giants' first-team defense.

Gets larger role in second season
Flott tallied 36 tackles (25 solo) and five defensed passes, including one interception, over 14 games in 2023.
Analysis: Flott missed the first three games of the campaign due primarily to a hamstring injury, but he took over as the Giants' slot corner in Week 4 and logged at least half of the team's defensive snaps in all but three weeks thereafter.
