Franklin slid to the early fourth round in the 2024 Draft despite elite college production -- 2,274 yards and 23 touchdowns in his final two years at Oregon. There were concerns about his unusually thin build (6-foot-2, 176 pounds) and whether his 4.41 speed was enough at that size. As a rookie, Franklin failed to erase those concerns, recording a 52.8 percent catch rate and just 5.0 yards per target in a part-time role off the bench. With Courtland Sutton thriving and Marvin Mims emerging late in the season, Franklin now faces an uphill battle for a bigger role in 2025, likely competing with slot man Devaughn Vele and rookie third-round pick Pat Bryant.
