Four grabs in Thanksgiving loss
Worthy caught four of six targets for 61 yards in Thursday's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys. He added 13 yards on two carries.
Analysis: Most of the damage came on a 42-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that helped set up Kansas City's final score of the day. Worthy's 61 receiving yards were his highest total since Week 4, and he's gone six straight games without getting into the end zone, posting a 22-256-0 line on 37 targets over that stretch while chipping in another 33 rushing yards. The second-year speedster seems unlikely to break out Week 14 against the Texans.

No limitations in practice Tuesday
Worthy (ankle) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.
Analysis: Kansas City estimated Worthy as a limited participant on its initial Week 13 practice report issued Monday, but the second-year wideout took every rep Tuesday to put to rest any doubt about his availability for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. Since Rashee Rice made his season debut Week 7 and reclaimed his spot as the clear No. 1 wideout, Worthy has struggled to deliver useful fantasy production. In the last five games, Worthy hasn't recorded a touchdown and hasn't eclipsed 60 yards from…read more

Limited on Monday's estimate
Worthy (ankle) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate.
Analysis: Worthy continues to manage an ankle issue, but the wideout was able to log a 77 percent snap share in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win over the Colts, while catching four of his eight targets for 59 yards in the contest. With no reported setbacks, his listed limitations Monday were presumably maintenance-related. Worthy now has two more chances to log a full practice listing before Kansas City's Week 13 injury designations are posted ahead of Thursday's game against the Cowboys.

More involved in OT win
Worthy caught four of eight targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win over the Colts.
Analysis: The reception and yardage totals were his best showing since Week 8, while the target volume was Worthy's highest since Week 5. The second-year speedster has gone five straight games without getting into the end zone, managing just an 18-195-0 line on 31 targets over that span, but Worthy will get a chance to break out against a shaky secondary in Week 13 during a Thanksgiving tilt against the Cowboys.

Active versus Colts
Worthy (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Colts, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Analysis: After not practicing Wednesday as he continues to manage an ankle issue, Worthy was limited Thursday and then worked fully Friday before heading into the weekend with a 'questionable' designation. With his Week 12 availability confirmed, Worthy should maintain his key role in a Kansas City pass-catching corps that also features fellow WRs Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown, along with TE Travis Kelce. Expected to suit up Sunday
Worthy, who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts due to an ankle injury, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Worthy first suffered an ankle injury in practice Nov. 13, and he tweaked the ankle a few days later in a loss to Denver. The second-year wideout sat out the Chiefs' first Week 12 practice before advancing to limited work Thursday and then full activity Friday. Worthy looks like he'll be able to suit up in a big AFC battle against Indianapolis, and he should again operate as Kansas City's No. 2 wideout behind Rashee Rice.

Status in question for Week 12
Worthy (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Colts.
Analysis: Worthy tended to an ankle injury last week but still suited up this past Sunday at Denver, logging a 76 percent snap share and gathering in three of five targets for 25 yards. After coach Andy Reid told Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site on Wednesday that Worthy tweaked his ankle, the second-year wide receiver followed a DNP/LP/FP practice regimen this week. Worthy's status for Week 12 will be confirmed about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Listed as limited Thursday
Worthy (ankle) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Worthy returned to the practice field after sitting out Wednesday, but he wasn't able to shed all limitations. Unless Worthy continues the positive trend and practices fully Friday, he will likely carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Colts. Worthy has dealt with ankle injuries throughout the season, but his only two absences came in Weeks 2 and 3 due to a dislocated shoulder.

Will practice Thursday
Worthy (ankle) will practice in some capacity Thursday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Analysis: Worthy missed Wednesday's practice entirely, so practicing in even a limited fashion Thursday would represent a tangible step in the right direction. The second-year pro is dealing with a tweaked ankle suffered during practice Week 11, and though he managed to suit up for Kansas City's loss to the Broncos, there are no guarantees he'll be able to play through his injury again during Sunday's matchup against the Colts. Misses practice Wednesday
Worthy (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site, coach Andy Reid noted earlier Wednesday that Worthy tweaked his ankle, clouding the wideout's status for the team's ensuing practice session. Following the DNP, Worthy has two more chances to work before the team's final injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts is posted. If he's limited or out this weekend, however, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton would be candidates to log added WR snaps behind Rashee Rice.

Dealing with ankle issue
Coach Andy Reid noted that Worthy tweaked his ankle, which leaves the wideout's status for Wednesday's practice uncertain, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Analysis: Worthy was on the team's Week 11 injury report after being limited by an ankle issue Thursday, but he practiced fully Friday and approached the team's loss to the Broncos on Sunday without an injury designation en route to recording a 76 percent snap share in the contest. Worthy has logged back-to-back three-catch efforts for a combined 48 yards over his last two outings.

Three catches in loss
Worthy caught three of five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Worthy caught three catches for the second straight game, but like in his last outing, was unable to get much going with his touches. The second-year wideout has not been a significant factor in Kansas City's passing game with teammate Rashee Rice in the lineup, despite Worthy averaging around six targets per game since Rice's return from suspension. Good to go against Broncos
Worthy (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Analysis: Worthy tweaked his ankle at practice Thursday but practiced without limitations Friday, earning the green light for Sunday's showdown between AFC West rivals. Worthy has taken a back seat to Rashee Rice in Kansas City's receiving corps and will be facing a stingy Broncos secondary, but at least the speedster doesn't appear to have any physical limitations.

Likely to play Sunday
Coach Andy Reid said Worthy tweaked his ankle at Thursday's practice, but the second-year wide receiver "did everything" at Friday's session and is "good to go" for Sunday's game at Denver, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Analysis: That would seem to imply that Worthy was a full practice participant to wrap up Week 11 prep after being added to the Chiefs' injury report Thursday as limited due to an ankle injury. Friday's report will reveal whether or not Worthy enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest.

Added to injury report Thursday
Worthy was limited at practice Thursday due to an ankle injury.
Analysis: Worthy wasn't listed on the Chiefs' initial Week 11 injury report Wednesday, so his addition to it a day later is notable. It's unclear if the wideout's ankle issue cropped up after Wednesday's practice or occurred during Thursday's session, but his status is now worth tracking as Sunday's game against the Broncos approaches. Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton would be candidates to log added snaps behind Rashee Rice if Worthy is out or limited this weekend.

Gains 30 yards on four touches
Worthy had three receptions on seven targets for 23 yards while taking his only carry for seven yards in Sunday's 28-21 loss to the Bills.
Analysis: Worthy tied Rashee Rice for the team lead in targets Sunday, but that's about where the good news ends. The 22-year-old Worthy couldn't turn those opportunities into production, finishing fourth in receiving despite garnering such a large share of targets. The speedy gadget receiver is still providing a decent floor for fantasy in his current role, but we haven't seen him explode for a notable performance yet. Nabs five passes on MNF
Worthy reeled in five of seven targets for 53 yards during Monday's 28-7 victory over the Commanders.
Analysis: The second-year wideout logged the second-most snaps among Kansas City wideouts Monday, with his 58 coming in one shy of Rashee Rice (59). Worthy also claimed his highest target volume since Week 5 after recording just four targets in each of the last two tilts. He enters Week 9 as the No. 2 WR ahead of Hollywood Brown but remains firmly behind Rice -- who has claimed 19 targets in two games since returning from a six-game suspension -- in the pecking order.

Limited targets again
Worthy recorded three receptions on four targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders. He added one rush for 13 yards.
Analysis: Worthy saw only four targets for the second consecutive game, a concerning trend given the return of Rashee Rice in Sunday's shutout win. Rice immediately came back to lead the team in every receiving stat and will likely remain Patrick Mahomes' favorite target moving forward. That will leave Worthy reliant on big plays to produce strong fantasy performances and make him more of a boom-or-bust option in future weeks.

Worthy caught two of four targets for 20 yards and a touchdown while taking his only carry for six yards in Sunday's 30-17 win over Detroit.
Analysis: Worthy endured another limited practice week in order to suit up for the Chiefs on Sunday. The speedy wideout has missed two-plus games of action due to injury, but he has now started three consecutive games as his health gradually returns to full strength. Ready to face Detroit in Week 6
Worthy (shoulder/ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday night's game against the Lions after returning to a full practice Friday.
Analysis: Worthy, who is managing shoulder and ankle issues, didn't practice Thursday, but his return to a full session a day later suggests that his absence was maintenance-related, rather than indicative of a setback. In two games back since missing time with a shoulder injury that he sustained Week 1, Worthy has combined to catch 11 passes (on 17 targets) for 125 yards and log three carries for 47 yards, a pace that keeps the starting WR firmly on the Week 6 fantasy lineup radar.

Coach Andy Reid said Friday that he expects Worthy (shoulder/ankle) to be available Sunday night against the Lions, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
Analysis: Worthy got the day off Thursday due to the pair of injuries that have bothered him at times this season, but his return to drills Friday seemingly went well, as Reid noted that the wide receiver was "moving around good" and "did everything." Non-participant Thursday
Worthy (ankle/shoulder) won't practice Thursday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Analysis: Worthy practiced without limitations Wednesday, so it's possible Thursday is just a maintenance day for the 2024 first-round pick, who has had an injury-filled start to his sophomore season. He sat out Weeks 2 and 3 after injuring his shoulder in a collision with Travis Kelce early in Week 1, and Worthy experienced swelling in his ankle shortly before Monday's loss to the Jaguars, though he showed no ill effects from the latter injury in a six-catch performance against Jacksonville. Analysis: Worthy popped up on the Week 5 injury report after being a full participant in practice when he experienced swelling in his ankle on the flight to Jacksonville. The speedy wideout was able to finish Monday's loss in good health, but it's worth noting that he left the contest briefly to have his ankle examined after getting tackled on one of his six receptions. Expected to play Monday
Worthy (shoulder/ankle), who was added to the Chiefs' Week 5 injury report Sunday, is expected to play Monday night against the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Per the report, Worthy, who has been managing a shoulder issue, felt some swelling in his ankle and was added to Kansas City's injury report, but Rapoport suggests that was precautionary and that the wideout should be available Monday. Ankle swelled up Sunday
Worthy's ankle swelled up on the Chiefs' flight to Jacksonville on Sunday, and Kansas City added him to the injury report as questionable as a precaution, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: According to Wolfe, the Chiefs will see how Worthy feels Monday ahead of the team's game against the Jaguars. Worthy wasn't even on the injury report this week and practiced in full, so it's unclear when he even came down with this ankle issue. Fantasy managers need to have another plan in place in case Worthy is deemed unable to play. Tyquan Thornton, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Dyami Brown and Parker Washington are options that may be found on the waiver wire.

Now questionable for MNF
The Chiefs added Worthy (shoulder/ankle) to the injury report Sunday, and he's now questionable for Monday night's game against the Jaguars.
Analysis: The ankle issue is the new one for Worthy, as this is the first time it's been noted as an injury for the Chiefs' star wide receiver. Worthy had already been dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered in Week 1. If Worthy is unable to play against Jacksonville, Tyquan Thornton would likely again be an every-down player for Kansas City.

Splash plays in return
Worthy recorded five receptions on eight targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Ravens. He added two rushes for 38 yards.
Analysis: Worthy returned from a shoulder injury and was active for the first time since Week 1, and he quickly regained his role as Kansas City's top playmaker. He accounted for each of the team's three longest plays from scrimmage on gains ranging from 28 to 37 yards while being used in all areas of the field and on an end around. While Worthy did his damage on big plays, he also led the team in targets, indicating this level of production is sustainable as long as his shoulder holds up.

Clear to return Sunday
Worthy (shoulder) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Ravens.
Analysis: Worthy thus has been cleared for his first game action since he was knocked from the Chiefs' Week 1 loss early following a collision with TE Travis Kelce. Diagnosed with a dislocated right shoulder afterward, Worthy sat out Weeks 2 and 3, but his ability to practice in full this week indicates he's ready for close to his typical workload. Expected to return Sunday

Analysis: Worthy has been sidelined since he suffered a dislocated right shoulder in a collision with TE Travis Kelce on the Chiefs' first possession of the season. After logging full practices Wednesday and Thursday, Worthy has proved his health and is slated to put an end to a two-game absence. Worthy (shoulder) practiced fully again Thursday.
Analysis: Worthy -- who suffered a dislocated right shoulder in the Chiefs' season opener -- has missed two straight games, but back-to-back full practices point to a return to action Sunday against the Ravens. Worthy (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: Worthy thus appears likely to return for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Analysis: "I know Xavier's the big question, and he's rehabbing and working his shoulder," Reid said. "We'll just see where it goes day by day here - see where we end up." Reid was careful with his words, refusing to commit to a firm timetable for the second-year receiver. For what it's worth, Adam Schefter of ESPN said Monday that Worthy is likely to miss some time. Fantasy players will need to closely monitor Worthy's practice habits in the coming days and weeks. If Worthy is unable to play Week 2,…read more

Likely to miss time
Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN stated Worthy (shoulder) will probably miss a little bit of time and be viewed as week-to-week.
Analysis: Worthy suffered a dislocated shoulder three snaps into Friday night's eventual loss to the Chargers when he and Travis Kelce collided over the middle of the field. It's now sounding like Worthy is going to miss time, perhaps multiple games with that week-to-week outlook. With Worthy missing most of Week 1 and Rashee Rice serving his six-game suspension to open the season, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton paced the Chiefs' wide receivers in playing time. Sustains dislocated shoulder Friday
Worthy suffered a dislocated shoulder during Friday's 27-21 loss to the Chargers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but the Chiefs haven't yet determined how much time the receiver will miss, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Worthy sustained the injury on the Chiefs' opening drive of the game, when he took on the brunt of a violent collision with teammate Travis Kelce. The wideout is set to receive a second opinion on his injury before the team has a clearer idea on how long he might be sidelined, but Rapoport relays that the most likely option is that Worthy gets fitted for a supportive brace on his shoulder that will allow him to return at some point this season. However, if Worthy receives unfavorable news from…read more

Getting MRI on Saturday
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said after Friday's loss to the Chargers that the team doesn't have an update on Worthy (shoulder) aside from sharing that the wideout will get an MRI on Saturday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Worthy hurt his shoulder Friday in a friendly fire incident with teammate Travis Kelce in the first quarter. The wideout left the field in apparent pain and was ruled out not long thereafter. The Chiefs have nine days until their next game (Sunday, Sept. 14 against Philadelphia), but if Worthy isn't able to get well enough to play by then, the team would be left with Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster as the top receivers, with Tyquan Thornton, Jason Brownlee, Nikko Remigio and possibly…read more

Ruled out Friday
Worthy (shoulder) won't return to Friday's game versus the Chargers in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
Analysis: Worthy took a hit directly to his right shoulder from TE Travis Kelce on the first drive of the contest while running an underneath route. He was in visible pain as he went to the sideline and then was escorted off the field and immediate to the X-ray room before being ruled out. Exits Friday's game
Worthy is questionable to return to Friday's game against the Chargers in Sao Paolo, Brazil due to a shoulder injury.
Analysis: Worthy was a victim of some friendly fire on the Chiefs' opening possession when he was sideswiped by TE Travis Kelce on an underneath route. He remained down for a bit before making his way to the sideline in visible pain. After team trainers checked him out, Worthy then made his way to the locker room.

Worthy brought in his only target for nine receiving yards in Friday's 29-27 preseason loss to the Bears.
Analysis: Worthy logged his first reception of the preseason after seeing the field briefly with the rest of the starters last week against the Seahawks. The gadget receiver avoided the league's concussion protocol after going down hard in practice earlier in camp. Coach Andy Reid revealed Friday that Worthy, who had been in the NFL's concussion protocol, actually didn't sustain a concussion upon further evaluation Thursday, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.

Worthy (concussion) is participating in Friday's practice, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Analysis: Worthy exited practice Tuesday and was placed in the concussion protocol, but he's advanced quickly enough through it to return to the field Friday. The second-year wideout is a candidate for a big leap this season after he and Patrick Mahomes showed improved chemistry down the stretch and into the playoffs last year. Rashee Rice is also expected to be given a multi-week suspension at some point during 2025.

Expecting more deep throws
Worthy said last Thursday that he expects the Kansas City offense to provide more big plays this season, Kay Adams of FanDuel TV reports.

"So, we kind of knew that we were going to be going a little deep during practice. We kind of got our bodies and our minds ready for what we're going to be doing in practice." Will not face charges
Worthy will not be charged following his Friday arrest in Williamson County, Texas, Tyler Davis of the Austin American-Statesman reports.
Analysis: Worthy was booked for assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation, which is a third-degree felony, but after authorities spoke with witnesses, the district attorney is not accepting the case at this time. Worthy's lawyers indicated it was an attempt at extortion by Worthy's accuser. It sounds like Worthy could avoid any sort of discipline from the NFL.

Worthy brought in five of six targets for 45 receiving yards while losing eight yards on his only rushing attempt in Saturday's 23-14 playoff win over the Texans.

Tallies 51 yards from scrimmage
Worthy recorded four receptions on six targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Panthers. He added one rush for five yards.
Analysis: Worthy finished second on the team with six targets, his highest mark since Week 8. However, he continued to struggle to connect with Patrick Mahomes on deep targets, as three of his four catches went for 12 yards or fewer. Given his limited volume and lack of explosiveness, Worthy is difficult to trust despite topping 50 yards from scrimmage in consecutive games for the first time this season.

Worthy had four receptions (on five targets) for 61 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for seven yards in Sunday's 30-21 loss to Buffalo.
Analysis: Worthy snapped out of his recent funk to lead the Chiefs in receiving yardage while scoring for the sixth time this season. The versatile speedster had netted just one yard over his last two starts, but Sunday's strong output should restore some faith in fantasy managers. Struggles mightily Monday
Worthy failed to bring in either of his targets Monday, losing 10 yards on two rushing attempts in an overtime win over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Worthy turned in a true negative fantasy performance after losing 10 yards on his only two touches Monday. The speedy rookie took a backseat to veteran DeAndre Hopkins (8-86-2 receiving line), and that may be a trend that continues in the second half of the season following Kansas City's big trade in Week 8. Worthy is still a key part of the offense, as evidenced by his four attempted plays Monday, and still should be considered a flex option ahead of Sunday's tilt against Denver.

Worthy caught two of four targets for 17 yards during Sunday's 22-17 win against the Falcons.
Analysis: Worthy ran the second-most routes on the team with 31, per PFF, trailing only Rashee Rice and tight end Travis Kelce.
