Ready to go for TNF
Fiske (back) is active for Thursday night's contest against the Vikings, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Fiske was limited at practice Wednesday with the back injury he's been nursing for a couple weeks, but he is now a full go for Week 8. The 24-year-old will operate in his traditional role as a starter on the defensive line with Los Angeles.

Tagged as questionable for Week 8
Fiske (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Vikings, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: Fiske took advantage of the Rams' Week 6 bye to heal from a shoulder injury and suit up against the Raiders on Sunday, during which he logged two tackles across 45 snaps (38 on defense, seven on special teams). However, he came out of that contest with a back injury, and he was listed as a DNP on Monday and Tuesday. Fiske's ability to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday has earned him a questionable tag heading into Thursday's game, though whether he'll suit up will likely not be known…read more

Benefits from Week 6 bye
Fiske (shoulder) was not listed on the Rams' injury report Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Fiske injured his shoulder in Week 5 against the Packers, but the bye week gave the rookie second-round pick extra time to heal. Barring any setbacks, he should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Fiske has registered 18 tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries through five regular-season games.

Dealing with shoulder issue
Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Monday that Fiske is dealing with a sore shoulder following Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Packers, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Analysis: Fiske recorded three total tackles across 33 snaps (29 defensive and four on special teams) in Sunday's loss, but McVay's comments Monday confirm he sustained a shoulder injury in the process. Fortunately for Fiske, the Rams are one of four teams with a Week 6 bye, so he will have until Oct. 20 to recover from this issue.

Logs first career sack
Fiske tallied four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and forced a fumble during the Rams' 24-18 loss to Chicago on Sunday.
Analysis: Fiske managed to bring down Caleb Williams to record his first career sack during Sunday's loss. The rookie second-round pick will look to build off this solid performance in Week 5 when the Rams host Green Bay.

Getting back in the action
Fiske (eye) played during Saturday's preseason win at the Chargers.
Analysis: Fiske had been sidelined by an eye injury he sustained during a practice, but he's evidently back in playing shape as the regular season approaches. He projects to play a substantial role on the Rams' defensive line in 2024.

Leaves practice with eye injury
Fiske left Thursday's practice session after being poked in the eye, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Although Fiske did not return to Thursday's practice, there's no indication that his availability for Sunday's preseason opener against the Cowboys is in jeopardy. The rookie second-round pick out of Florida State is battling for a starting spot on the Rams' defensive front alongside Kobie Turner and Bobby Brown.
