A 2024 fifth-round pick, Davis had a low-key rookie year but gained traction toward the end. Davis barely saw the field early, logging just five offensive snaps before the Week 12 bye, but he racked up 94 snaps in the season's final six games. In Week 14, with Breece Hall sidelined, Davis and Braelon Allen, another 2024 draftee who initially served as the Jets' No. 2 running back, nearly split snaps evenly (33 to 35). At 6-foot, 218, Davis is only an average athlete with a 4.57-second 40-yard dash, but he's still faster than Allen. Four touches in Week 17 loss
Davis rushed three times for 35 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Bills. He also had a 29-yard kickoff return.
Analysis: Davis worked behind both Breece Hall (10 carries for 45 yards) and Braelon Allen (six carries for 26 yards). The rookie fifth-round pick out of South Dakota State has shown some promising burst on the ground and good hands as a pass catcher, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and 6.3 yards per target.
