Perfect in shootout
Dicker made both of his two field-goal tries and converted all four of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 34-27 win versus the Bengals.
Analysis: Dicker rode the positive momentum he built up in Week 10 to make multiple field goals without a missed kick for his second game straight Sunday. His longest came from 53 yards out to give the Chargers a 27-6 lead early in the third quarter. The Chargers are set to host the Ravens' struggling defense in Week 12.

Steady in win
Dicker converted both of his two field-goal tries and made all three of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 27-17 win versus the Titans.
Analysis: Dicker's farthest kick Sunday came from 37 yards out, just a bit longer than an extra point, so he wasn't necessarily put to the test in Week 10. It was nonetheless a positive development for him, as he had missed kicks in each of his two games prior. He'll be kicking in a dome again in Week 11 versus the Bengals.

Rough outing Sunday
Dicker missed his only field-goal try and converted three of his four extra-point attempts during Sunday's 27-10 win at Cleveland.
Analysis: Dicker's missed field goal came from 44 yards out, but since the Chargers already had a 20-3 lead in the fourth quarter, it wasn't very meaningful. What's slightly more concerning is that Sunday's game was Dicker's second in a row with a missed extra point. He'll be looking to bounce back in Week 10 versus the Titans.

Scores 15 points in loss
Dicker converted all five of his field-goal attempts during Monday's 17-15 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: Dicker had a career performance in Arizona, with Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles offense struggling consistently. He ultimately scored every point for the Chargers, and the 40-yarder Dicker nailed with 1:55 remaining in the fourth quarter would've been enough to put the team ahead, had the defense held. He'll look to carry some positive momentum into Sunday's home game against the Saints.

Returns to practice
Dicker (illness) logged a full practice session Thursday.
Analysis: Dicker missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, but he was able to return to a full session one day later. As such, it's likely that the kicker will be able to suit up Sunday versus Denver. Dicker has gone 7-for-8 on field-goal tries and 5-for-6 on extra-point attempts so far this season.

Dealing with illness
Dicker (illness) didn't practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Dicker will likely need to upgrade to at least limited participation either Thursday or Friday in order to suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos. Don't be surprised if the Chargers to add a kicker to their practice squad just in case Dicker is unable to suit up in Week 6.

Misses one in loss
Dicker made his lone extra-point try and missed one of two field-goal attempts in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: Dicker connected on a 50-yard FGA to help give the Chargers a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. However, on their opening drive of the second half he had a 55-yard attempt that missed wide right, his first miss of the season. The 24-year-old is now 7-for-8 on FGAs this season, while he's 5-for-6 on PATs.

Makes lone FG attempt Week 3
Dicker made his only field-goal try and his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.
Analysis: Dicker didn't get many opportunities in the contest, but he converted when called upon, making a 28-yard field goal in the second quarter. The 24-year-old has gone 6-for-6 in field-goal tries and 4-for-5 in extra-point attempts through three weeks. He's had one field-goal try of beyond 50 yards -- a 53-yarder against the Raiders in Week 1 that he successfully converted.

Misses first PAT of his career
Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts but missed one of three extra-point tries in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Panthers.
Analysis: Dicker missed the first point-after attempt of his NFL career after the Chargers' opening-drive touchdown. He was perfect afterward though, making field goals from 46 and 42 yards out, while also making the PATs on the team's other two touchdowns.

Productive in win
Dicker connected on all three field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try in Sunday's 22-10 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Dicker was the Chargers' only source of points through three quarters, hitting field goals from 53, 25 and 24 yards out, one in each quarter. The Texas product's PAT would come on a J.K. Dobbins touchdown to start the fourth quarter that gave the Chargers the lead for good.

Inks four-year deal with Bolts
The Chargers and Dicker agreed to terms Friday on a four-year, $22 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Dicker's new deal reportedly includes $12.5 million guaranteed. As a result of the contract, Dicker is linked to Los Angeles through the 2028 season. In his two-year career, Dicker has converted 52 of 55 field-goal attempts and all 59 of his extra-point tries, making him one of the most reliable placekickers in the NFL. There could be a chance for him to improve his fantasy production this season if new coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman can put the Chargers in more…read more

Stays in LA
Dicker re-signed with the Chargers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Analysis: Dicker ultimately signed his exclusive rights tender from Los Angeles, which was originally placed on him March 8. The Texas product connected on 31 of his 33 FGAs last season, which was good for a 94 percent conversion rate, while not missing a single PAT. He may ultimately face competition in camp, but Dicker should have the inside track on the team's kicking job in 2024.

Tendered by Chargers
Los Angeles placed a contract tender on Dicker on Friday.
Analysis: Dicker was an exclusive-rights free agent, and he converted 52 of 55 field-goal tries in his first two pro seasons, so it's no surprise to see the Chargers move to re-up him. Last season, Dicker was good on 31 of his 33 field-goal tries, plus all 35 of his extra-point attempts. His accuracy alone is enough to make Dicker a valuable kicker for fantasy purposes, but his volume could well also increase in 2024 -- Brandon Staley is no longer around to champion aggressive fourth-down calls, and new…read more

Excellent in second season
Dicker converted 31 of his 33 field-goal attempts and all 35 of his extra-point attempts over 17 games for the Chargers during the regular season.
Analysis: After years of poor kicking production, the Chargers appear to have finally struck gold in the form of Dicker, who has missed just three of his field-goal attempts dating back to his 2022 rookie season. He seemed to quell any concerns about long-distance kicks, as the 23-year-old made seven from 50-plus yards out after failing to make his lone attempt from that range in 2022. The introduction of head coach Jim Harbaugh could add value to Dicker's fantasy prospects next season, considering the…read more

Only second miss of season
Dicker converted three of his four field-goal attempts in the 16-9 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Analysis: Dicker's 50-yard field goal in the fourth quarter was blocked, ending what had been a perfect field-goal stretch dating back to Week 3. The emergence of the second-year kicker as a bona fide ace in the hole has been one of the few positive marks for a 5-11 Chargers team devoid of much success. He'll have a chance to solidify his position as one of the most accurate kickers in the league next week.

Excellent despite loss
Dicker made all five of his field-goal attempts and also nailed his only extra-point try in the 24-22 loss to the Bills on Saturday.
Analysis: Dicker put together an absolutely monster performance including a 53-yard field goal that looked like it had another eight yards to spare, but it would have been tough to predict this sort of outcome given Easton Stick led an offense that previously struggled to generate much in a blowout loss against the Raiders last week. It's clear the second-year kicker is one of the most accurate in the league, and at this point concerns about a lack of leg strength seem unfounded, but offensive…read more

Just three extra points
Dicker made all three extra-point attempts in Thursday's 63-21 loss to the Raiders.
Analysis: The game got completely out of hand by the Raiders' fourth possession, so Dicker really had zero shot at having a productive fantasy day. The offense looked downright dreary at times with Easton Stick at quarterback, and given the lack of Dicker's range, the second-year kicker has definitely lost some fantasy luster.

Extra point made
Dicker made his sole extra-point attempt in Sunday's 24-7 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: The Chargers' inability to put together meaningful offensive drives handicapped Dicker, as Sunday was his first outing of the year without a field-goal attempt. The 23-year-old is still 19 for 20 on the season with his sole miss a 53-yarder in Week 3, but with Justin Herbert (finger) done for the season, it's hard to imagine the offense somehow looking more effective in the weeks to come.

Keeps streak alive
Dicker made both of his two field-goal tries in Sunday's 6-0 win over the Patriots.
Analysis: Poor weather conditions and dreadful offensive inefficiency meant Dicker was the sole catalyst for points on the board, and he delivered by making both of his 38-yard field-goal attempts in the second quarter. The 23-year-old has also not missed a field goal since Week 3. With a proven ability to be consistent week after week, and two or more field-goal attempts in four of the last six weeks, Dicker is a solid start in any league.

Small role in loss
Dicker made both his sole field goal and extra point in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Dicker converted his only field-goal attempt from 39 yards in the first quarter and tacked on an extra point in the fourth. The 23-year-old has made every attempted field goal since Week 3, and is 17 for 18 on the year, with his only miss being a 53-yard attempt. The second-year kicker has proven to be accurate throughout the year and will continue to be a solid option for managers if the Chargers hope to overcome their recent drought, especially against a struggling Patriots team in Week 13.

Makes all kicks
Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in the 23-20 loss to the Packers during Week 11.

Perfect once more
Dicker knocked home his lone field-goal attempt and also converted on all five of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 41-38 loss to the Lions.
Analysis: The second-year kicker continues to be a revelation, as Dicker has missed just two of his field-goal attempts since joining the Chargers in Week 9 of last season. Expect the 23-year-old to have a solid day with the offense set to square off against the miserable Packers defense in Week 11.

Nails career-long field goal
Dicker converted on both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point attempts in the 27-6 win over the Jets on Monday.
Analysis: Dicker's 55-yard field goal to end the first half was easily a career long and marks his fourth made field goal from 50-plus yards out this season. Usually known as a reliable kicker from shorter distances, the second-year starter has become a bit more consistent even from longer distances and is situated in one of the better offenses in the league.

Dicker made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Once again solid
Dicker converted on his lone field-goal attempt and his two extra-point attempts in the 20-17 loss to the Cowboys on Monday.
Analysis: The Chargers are one of the most aggressive teams in terms of going for fourth-downs, and the team's inefficiencies on offense coupled with the aggressive attitude has capped Dicker's fantasy value despite his consistency. Los Angeles should be poised for another positive offensive day in a Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs.

Automatic yet again
Dicker connected on his lone field-goal attempt and also made all three of his extra-point attempts in the 24-17 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
Analysis: It was a pretty typical game for Dicker, who continues to be near automatic when it comes to field goals within 50 yards. The second-year starter has yet to miss a kick under 50 yards in his NFL career and is situated in an offense that is well-regarded as one of the best in the league.

No good on long field goal
Dicker missed his lone field-goal attempt from 53 yards out, but he did connect on all four of his extra-point attempts in the 28-24 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
Analysis: Dicker isn't known for his strong leg, so the missed field goal isn't entirely surprising. The second-year kicker is just 1-of-3 on attempts from 50-plus yards in his career, including the playoffs; however, he's missed just one other field goal out of his 26 tries to date. Dicker figures to be in a good spot to add to that total in a matchup against the vulnerable Raiders defense this week.

Doesn't miss in loss
Dicker connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try in a 27-24 overtime loss to the Titans on Sunday.
Analysis: Dicker's long in Sunday's contest was just 33 yards, as the second-year kicker benefitted from an offense that struggled to punch it in the end zone. Expect Dicker to be a sneaky streaming kicker option in what figures to be an offensive matchup between the Chargers and Vikings in Week 3.

Perfect once more
Dicker converted both of his field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 36-34 loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: Dicker connected on a career-long 50-yard field goal near the end of the first half and extended a regular-season streak of made kicks that dates back to Week 13 of last season. While the undrafted second-year player might not have the strongest leg, he's been a reliable leg inside 50 yards since taking over as the starting kicker for the Chargers last season.

Fellow kicker traded
The Chargers have traded Dustin Hopkins to the Browns, leaving Dicker as the team's lone kicking option, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The two had been competing for the team's Week 1 kicking assignment, but with Hopkins on the move, Dicker is slated to handle the job ahead of the coming season. In that context, the 23-year-old profiles as a viable fantasy option while working with the Chargers' Justin Herbert-helmed offense.

Kicking battle back on
Dicker is expected to compete against Dustin Hopkins for the kicking role with the Chargers, Eric Smith of the team's official website reports.
Analysis: Hopkins had been sidelined with an undisclosed injury for the majority of camp up until now, which has led to Dicker taking on all the kicking responsibilities. However, it now looks like this is going to be a legitimate competition. Dicker made all six of his field-goal attempts in the competition at practice today and is now 58-of-64 (90.6 percent) at camp in kicks that were being counted. Hopkins, on the other hand, is 10-of-15 on his attempts.

Getting majority of practice reps
Dicker has taken all of the practice field-goal attempts over the last couple of special teams periods, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Dicker entered training camp in an apparent battle for the starting job with veteran incumbent Dustin Hopkins, but the latter has not attempted a field goal since the beginning of the week, and the Chargers have not mentioned Hopkins dealing with any sort of injury. Dicker made 19 of his 20 field-goal attempts last season in relief of the injured Hopkins, with the lone miss coming in the team's dreadful wild-card loss to the Jaguars.

Locked in position battle
Dicker is expected to compete with Dustin Hopkins for the team's top kicking job, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Hopkins seemed to solve the team's kicking woes over the past two seasons, converting 27 of 30 field-goal attempts since joining the team in Week 7 of the 2021 campaign. A hamstring injury in Week 5 of the previous year abruptly ended the veteran's 2022 campaign, but Dicker filled in admirably, making all 19 of his field-goal attempts before missing a critical one in the team's embarrassing playoff loss. Staying in Los Angeles
Dicker will remain in Los Angeles after the Chargers picked up his exclusive rights free-agent tender Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Dicker finished last season converting 21 of his 22 field-goal tries and all 24 of his extra-point attempts. After leading the NFL in field goal percentage in his rookie season, the 22-year-old certainly did enough to give the Chargers confidence in handing over the starting job to him for the 2023 campaign. Assuming the offense can take a step forward next season under new coordinator Kellen Moore, Dicker should be a solid fantasy option.

Costly miss in loss
Dicker missed one of his four field-goal attempts but made all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's 31-30 loss to the Jaguars in the wild-card round.
Analysis: Dicker missed merely one of 46 total attempts during the regular season, making it a big surprise when he missed from 40 yards during the fourth quarter. Although he still made kicks from 22, 23 and 50 yards while scoring double-digit points, Dicker's misfire Saturday proved costly in Los Angeles' narrow defeat. Given his wide success during his rookie campaign, however, Dicker should garner significant interest as a free agent this offseason.

Effective rookie season
Dicker finished the 2022-23 season converting 21 of his 22 field-goal tries and all 24 of his extra-point attempts.
Analysis: Dicker filled in admirably for Dustin Hopkins who missed the majority of the season with a hamstring injury. The rookie kicker led the NFL in field goal-percentage, but he missed the only kick he attempted from beyond 50 yards. While Dicker is a free agent this offseason, he certainly did enough to compete for the starting role either in Los Angeles or elsewhere.

Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Dicker converted from 48 and 36 yards on his field goals. The rookie was a revelation in his 10 games for the Chargers this season, making 19 of 20 field goals and all 22 of his PATs after being released by the Ravens and Eagles earlier in the campaign. Still perfect from field
Dicker made all four of his extra-point attempts and his lone field-goal try in the 31-10 win over the Rams.
Analysis: Dicker continues to be excellent, as he's missed just one kick since taking over as the starter back in Week 9. The undrafted rookie doesn't get many field-goal opportunities, but when he does, he's been relatively automatic, especially from shorter distances.

Perfect yet again
Dicker converted both of his field-goal attempts and extra-point tries in the 20-3 win over the Colts on Monday.
Analysis: Dicker continues to get simple chip shots when the offense struggles in the red zone, but with head coach Brandon Staley dialing back the aggression in recent weeks, the undrafted rookie free agent has been worthy of fantasy consideration. Good on game-winner
Dicker nailed both of his extra-point attempts and also the game-winning field goal Sunday in the 17-14 win over the Titans.
Analysis: The undrafted rookie free agent has been a revelation in replacement of the injured Dustin Hopkins (hamstring), as Dicker has missed just one kick -- a 52-yard attempt -- of any kind with the Chargers. More importantly, he's managed to also knock in two game-winning field goals during that stretch. The Chargers typically don't attempt many field goals given the aggressive nature of head coach Brandon Staley, but Dicker has been money with the few opportunities he's gotten.

Returns to practice squad
Dicker reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Dicker served as the Bolts' starting kicker for the third week in a row as Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) remained out for Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. The practice-squad kicker converted both of his field-goal attempts and his lone point-after-try Week 11, and he has now gone a perfect 7-for-7 on his field-goal tries while making all six of his PATs over the past three games. Dicker will now require a full active-roster spot to continue filling in for Hopkins moving forward this season.

Set to start once again
Dicker was elevated to the active roster Saturday.
Analysis: Dicker, who won AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors back in Week 9, is poised for another start with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) listed as doubtful for Sunday. This also marks Dicker's third and final practice-squad elevation, meaning the Chargers will either need to sign the rookie kicker or subject him to waivers come next week.

Goes back to practice squad
Dicker reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Dicker kicked for Los Angeles in place of the injured Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) in both Weeks 9 and 10. Dicker hit all three of his field-goal attempts (including a 47-yarder) and his only extra-point try in Sunday's loss to San Francisco, but he'll now head back to the practice squad. If Hopkins is unable to play again Week 11, Dicker could get another opportunity to handle kicking duties, though the Chargers would need to sign him to the active roster since it would be his third elevation.

Suiting up again Sunday night
The Chargers elevated Dicker from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at San Francisco.
Analysis: Dicker will handle kicking duties for the Chargers for a second consecutive week Sunday. He knocked through both of his point-after tries and both of his field-goal attempts in Week 9 at Atlanta. After Week 10, the Chargers will only be allowed to activate him for one more game before he would need to be signed to the active roster in order to suit up.

Set for kicking duties Week 10
The Chargers plan to elevate Dicker from the practice squad to have him serve as their kicker in Sunday's game against the 49ers, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: With Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) not yet ready to return to action, Dicker will handle kicking duties for the Chargers for the second game in a row. The undrafted rookie out of Texas took home AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Week 10 after converting both of his extra-point tries while nailing two fourth-quarter field-goal tries -- including a game-winning 37-yarder as time expired -- in the Chargers' 20-17 victory over the Falcons.

Heads back to practice squad

Analysis: Dicker handled kicking duties for Los Angeles with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) out for Week 9, and he converted both of his field-goal attempts, including a 37-yarder as time expired to secure the win. Dicker also made both of his point-after tries and is a perfect 4-for-4 on both field-goal attempts and PATs across two games between the Chargers and Eagles this season. Hopkins could return to face the 49ers in Week 10, but if he doesn't Dicker would likely get elevated again.

Will kick for L.A. in Week 9
Dicker, who signed with the Chargers' practice squad Thursday, will be elevated to the 53-man roster and handle kicking duties for Los Angeles during Sunday's game in Atlanta, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Dicker will become the third Chargers kicker of the season, following in the footsteps of Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) and Taylor Bertolet (quadriceps). Hopkins remains on the Chargers' active roster but is week-to-week and not on track to suit up Sunday, while Bertolet was moved to the Chargers' practice squad injured reserve Thursday with an injury of his own. The Chargers likely won't add Dicker to the roster until Saturday, but he'll be in line to make his second career NFL appearance Sunday.…read more

Added to practice squad
The Chargers signed Dicker to the practice squad Thursday.
Analysis: Dicker previously spent time with Philadelphia's practice squad this season before being waived by the team this past Thursday. The undrafted rookie was elevated for the Eagles' Week 5 win against the Cardinals, making both of his field-goal attempts and going 2-for-2 on PATs. With Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) still sidelined and Taylor Bertolet (undisclosed) now on the Chargers' practice-squad injured list as well, Dicker should serve as the team's best option at kicker against Atlanta on Sunday.

Cut by Philadelphia
Philadelphia cut Dicker from its practice squad Saturday.
Analysis: Dicker was elevated to the active roster for Week 5 with Jake Elliott out due to an ankle injury and made all four of his kicks, including a game-winning field goal. However, Elliott has been healthy over the last few weeks, leaving Dicker stranded on the practice squad. He was let go to make room for defensive end Tarron Jackson and will look for a new opportunity elsewhere.

Wins game in NFL debut
Dicker made both his field goals and both his extra points in his NFL debut Sunday against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Dicker got the start in place of Jake Elliott (ankle) and did not disappoint. He got the chance to ease his nerves with a pair of extra points early in the game and added a 42-yard field goal in the middle of the third quarter. Later on, he put the Eagles ahead by a 20-17 score by drilling a 23-yarder with 1:45 left. That stood as the game-winning kick, as Cardinals' kicker Matt Ammendola missed a 43-yard kick to tie it up with 22 seconds to play. If Elliott remains unable to go Sunday against…read more
