Cited for driving 140 mph
Addison (undisclosed) was cited Thursday for driving 140 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Speeding tickets don't usually lead to league discipline, but this one will get the NFL's attention and might eventually lead to a fine and/or a short suspension. The 23rd overall pick in this year's draft was cited around 3:00 a.m. CT on Thursday for speeding and reckless driving, three days before rookies report to Vikings training camp. Addison isn't off to the best start in the NFL, first missing spring practices with an undisclosed injury and now dealing with a legal problem.

In line to return by training camp
Addison (undisclosed) is expected to be healthy by the time training camp starts in late July, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Since getting banged up during rookie minicamp in early May, Addison has been held out of both OTAs and the start of mandatory minicamp. When he's healthy, the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft is slated to serve as a complement to top wide receiver Justin Jefferson in the Vikings' passing game.

Not practicing at OTAs
Addison (undisclosed) did not practice Tuesday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The Vikings' first-round pick at No. 23 overall, Addison was injured during the rookie minicamp earlier this month and is being held out of OTAs for "precautionary reasons," according to coach Kevin O'Connell, who added that the issue is "nothing serious at all." Addison was at least in attendance Tuesday but only as a spectator. Perhaps he'll be cleared for mandatory minicamp next month.
