However, even in his limited playing time he managed to record his 13th sack of the season by taking down Taylor Heinicke for a five-yard loss early in the second quarter. Parsons now has 79 total tackles across 15 games in his stellar rookie campaign.

Delivers another spectacular outing

Parsons finished with three tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble Sunday in Dallas' 27-20 win over Washington.

Analysis: Parsons' biggest highlight of the day came in late in the first quarter, when he easily beat right guard Brandon Scherff on a blitz up the middle, then sacked a backpeddling Taylor Heinicke and forced a fumble that was returned by teammate Dorance Armstrong for a 37-yard touchdown. Analysis: Parsons' practice participation was hampered by the injury earlier in the week, but he's good to go for this clash between NFC East foes. The standout rookie already has 10 sacks in his young career, including at least one in each of the past five games.

Analysis: The rookie was often used as a spy to try and keep Taysom Hill in the pocket, and while Hill did wind up rushing for over 100 yards, his biggest runs didn't come while Parsons was on his tail. Analysis: Parsons spent the last two contests lining up as a defensive end because of injuries and COVID-19 issues elsewhere on Dallas' roster, but he was able to resume playing linebacker Week 4. The rookie first-round pick now has 2.5 sacks on the year, and he handled a career-high 99 percent of defensive snaps versus Carolina. The emerging talent is quickly becoming a must-start IDP asset.
