Joins Titans' practice squad
The Titans signed McNichols to the practice squad Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: McNichols didn't make Tennessee's initial regular-season roster, but he'll stick around as an emergency option on the practice squad. To begin the 2020 season, the Titans' only backups to Derrick Henry are Darrynton Evans (undisclosed) and Senorise Perry.

McNichols was waived by the Titans on Saturday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: This transaction should more or less confirm Darrynton Evans' availability to start Week 1, as the rookie third-round pick had missed a number of practices the last couple of weeks due to an undisclosed injury.
