    Analysis: Butker has surprisingly misfired on an extra-point attempt in each of the last three weeks after missing just three of his 48 attempts last season. Butker has attempted at least two field goals in three of the four games and should continue to see ample attempts behind a high-powered Chiefs offense.

  • Uncharacteristic Week 3 outing

    Butker missed his only field goal attempt as well as one of his four extra-point tries in Monday night's 34-20 win over the Ravens.

    Analysis: Butker followed his Week 2 heroics with an unusually poor performance. He not only went wide left on his first PAT attempt, but also missed the same way on a 42-yard field goal prior to halftime.     Butker was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals, including a game-winning kick from 58 yards out in overtime, Sunday versus the Chargers.

    Analysis: The only blemish on his record was a blocked PAT, which marked the first miss of any kind so far this season in his kicking game. Even more impressive, Butker hit a pair of kicks from beyond 50 yards Sunday, which can pay major dividends in some fantasy formats. Kansas City's road doesn't get any easier with the Ravens on tap in Week 3 -- this is an opponent that could limit field-goal attempts.

He has five more years remaining on his contract with the Chiefs, and there is nothing to suggest he's falling off in any way. Given his spot on a high-powered Kansas City squad, Butker should be one of the first kickers off the board in 2020 drafts.

    Analysis: Butker has now missed three PATs on the season but continues to convert field goals at a high percentage, knocking home at least 89 percent in each of his first three seasons. Butker added another make from 50-plus Sunday, upping his season percentage to 50 from 50 or beyond. From inside the 50, Butker has been superb, nailing 30 of his 31 attempts.

    Analysis: Butker didn't attempt an extra-point on the day, as the first touchdown resulted in a botched snap by punter Dustin Colquitt, and the second was a two-point conversion to make up the lost points. Even with a tough Bears defense up next, the Chiefs offense should move the ball enough to get Butker tries again in Week 16.
