Makes seven starts in 2023
Brown recorded 34 tackles (29 solo), six pass breakups, two interceptions and a sack across 15 games during the 2023 regular season.
Analysis: Brown stayed mostly healthy in 2023 and made seven starts, as Brown, Mike Jackson and Artie Burns filled in behind Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen. The Seahawks may try to bolster their cornerback room this offseason, but Brown probably showed enough to hang onto a roster spot as he heads into the final year of his contract.

Able to suit up Week 16
Brown (heel) is active for Sunday's contest against the Titans.
Analysis: Brown began Week 16 prep with a pair of limited practices, but his outlook improved when he was able to log a full practice Friday. He'll thus be able to play Sunday and should have a near every-down role with Devon Witherspoon (hip) inactive for a second straight game. Brown played every defensive snap last week against Philadelphia and tied a season high with six tackles.

Could play Week 16
Brown (heel) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Analysis: Brown has been dealing with this heel injury over the last couple of weeks, and after logging a week of limited practice sessions, he's got a shot at suiting up Sunday. If the 26-year-old cornerback is unable to go in Week 16, expect Coby Bryant to see increased snaps in the Seahawks' secondary.

Limited in walkthrough Wednesday
Brown (heel) was estimated as a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice session, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: Brown has been dealing with a heel injury for the past two weeks, and the issue caused him to sit out Week 14 versus San Francisco. However, he was able to return Monday in a win over Philadelphia and played every defensive snap for Seattle, finishing with six tackles (four solo). With that context, it seems likely that Brown will be able to play Sunday in Tennessee unless he's suffered a setback.

Practices in full Friday
Brown (heel) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Brown missed the Seahawks' Week 14 loss to the 49ers with a heel injury. He was limited in Thursday's practice but was able to upgrade to full Friday and is trending towards returning Monday against the Eagles.

Won't play Week 14
Brown (heel) was ruled inactive for Sunday's game versus San Francisco.
Analysis: Brown missed back-to-back practices before participating in a limited fashion Friday, and he'll ultimately be forced to sit out for the first time since the Week 4 contest against the Giants. The third-year cornerback has seen significant playing time behind starters Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen this season, contributing 25 tackles, one sack and six passes defended, including two interceptions. Questionable versus San Fransisco
Brown (heel) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: Brown missed the first two practices of the week before logging a limited session Friday. He played a season-high 62 defensive snaps in Week 13 against the Cowboys behind starters Riq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon. If Brown is unable to suit up Sunday, Mike Jackson figures to be the likely candidate to step into the slot corner position.

Active for Week 11
Brown (foot) is officially active to face the Rams on Sunday.
Analysis: Brown entered the weekend with a questionable tag due to a lingering foot issue, though Seattle head coach Pete Carroll indicated Friday that he expected the cornerback to play. That will indeed come to fruition, as Brown isn't on the team's list of inactives ahead of the afternoon matchup versus Los Angeles. Brown was on the field for 79 percent of the team's defensive snaps last week versus Washington and should see a significant role Sunday as well.

Questionable for Sunday
Brown (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Brown's toe injury first popped up last week, but he was able to play and log 79 percent of Seattle's defensive snaps this past Sunday against Washington. The cornerback logged two full practice sessions to begin this week but didn't practice at all Friday. While that might usually be an ominous sign, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Friday that he's expecting Brown to play Sunday against the Rams, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Practices in full
Brown (toe) was a full participant in practice Thursday after participating on a limited basis Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: The backup cornerback's status will be worth monitoring Friday to see if he continues to trend toward playing Sunday against the Commanders. Brown has six passes defensed, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 2023.

Managing toe injury
Brown was a limited participant in practice Wednesday due to a toe issue, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Brown logged 52 defensive snaps -- his most since Week 2 -- against Baltimore this past Sunday, but he appears to have come away with a toe injury. While his ability to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday bodes well for his chances of suiting up Sunday versus Washington, the seriousness of the issue should become clearer over the final two days of Week 10 prep. Snags pick in loss
Brown recorded one solo tackle, an interception and an additional pass deflection in Seattle's 17-13 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday.
Analysis: Brown missed the team's Week 4 win against the Giants with a concussion but was productive in his return to action. The 2021 fourth-round pick logged Seattle's only turnover Sunday and now has a team-high two interceptions on the season.

Not on injury report
Brown (concussion) was not listed on Seattle's injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Brown missed the team's Week 4 win against the Giants due to a concussion but is now healthy again and should make his return to the field versus the Bengals on Sunday. The 26-year-old will now look to help Seattle's secondary slow down Joe Burrow and the rest of Cincinnati's offense.

Ruled out for Monday
Brown (concussion) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Giants, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Brown was placed in the NFL's concussion protocols in Week 3 against the Panthers. He was unable to participate in practice all week and will miss Monday's game. With Artie Burns (hamstring) also ruled out and Coby Bryant (toe) listed as doubtful, the Seahawks' depth at cornerback behind Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen will be thin.

Remains unavailable for practice
Brown (concussion) did not participate at the Seahawks' practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Brown was unavailable for the team's first practice of the week after suffering a concussion in Week 3 versus Carolina. The cornerback has an extra day to prepare prior to Seattle's Week 4 matchup with the Giants on Monday night and will look to at least progress to a limited practice Friday.

Enters protocols
Brown has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Panthers due to a concussion, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Analysis: Browns' exit will leave the Seahawks secondary depleted, as Riq Woolen (chest) and Coby Bryant (toe) are inactive. Mike Jackson has stepped up as his replacement opposite Devon Witherspoon at corner. Brown will now need to pass the league's five-step concussion protocol to gain clearance to play in Week 4 against the Giants.

Stuffs stat sheet Sunday
Brown returned an interception for a touchdown, forced a fumble and finished with four tackles (all solo), including a sack, in Sunday's Week 2 overtime win over Detroit.
Analysis: Brown forced a fumble that was recovered by Seattle in the second quarter, though the play didn't have much of an effect on the outcome since the clock had already run down on the half. However, Brown's impact in the fourth period was much more profound -- he sacked Jeff Goff in Lions territory on a first down midway through the quarter and intercepted the QB on the next play, returning the pick 40 yards for a touchdown to give the Seahawks a 31-21 lead. Slated to start Week 1
Brown is listed as a starter on the depth chart ahead of Sunday's game versus the Rams, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: While Brown is currently listed ahead of fellow cornerback Mike Jackson, head coach Pete Carroll has said that both cornerbacks will play Sunday. Nevertheless, this is a major accomplishment for Brown to push Jackson -- who played nearly every defensive snap last year -- to No. 2 on the depth chart. Brown will still need to prove himself in the opener to retain a large role. Makes preseason start
Brown started at cornerback in Thursday's preseason win over the Vikings, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: We shouldn't read into this too much, as Riq Woolen (knee) and Devon Witherspoon (hamstring) both sat out. Brown made some impressive plays but also mistimed a jump in the second quarter to allow the Vikings' only touchdown. At this time, Brown looks like the odd man out of a starting job once Woolen and Witherspoon are healthy because Mike Jackson also appears ahead of Brown in the pecking order.

Clears injury report Tuesday
Brown (illness) was not listed on the Seahawks' injury report Tuesday.
Analysis: Brown popped up with an illness last Tuesday and missed back-to-back practices before being ruled inactive against San Francisco on Thursday Night Football. It appears the 25-year-old was able to overcome this ailment to begin Week 16, though he'll likely continue to see limited playing time at cornerback Saturday against Kansas City.

Won't play Thursday
Brown (illness) is inactive for Thursday's game against the 49ers, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Brown was unable to log any practice activity in both Tuesday's and Wednesday's sessions due to an illness, and he ultimately won't suit up Thursday night versus San Fransisco. Given he's played a combined 17 defensive snaps across the last three contests, the second-year cornerback's absence shouldn't greatly alter Seattle's defensive game plan.

Brown (illness) did not participate during practice Tuesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: While the severity of Brown's ailment is still unknown, it comes at a very inopportune time ahead of Thursday's game versus San Francisco. The 25-year-old will now have just one more practice to improve his status, or else he'll likely be in jeopardy of missing his first game since being activated from the PUP list in mid-November. Rejoins active roster
The Seahawks activated Brown (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Tuesday.
Analysis: Brown appears to be fully recovered from the season-ending patella tendon injury he suffered last November, and he'll now be included on Seattle's 53-man roster moving forward in 2022. The 2021 fourth-round pick logged 10 tackles to go along with one pass defended over five games during his rookie season. The Seahawks are on bye Week 11, so Brown will have to wait until a Nov. 27 matchup with the Raiders to make his 2022 debut.

Analysis: Brown began the season on the PUP list due to a knee injury and missed the first seven games of the season. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Brown (knee) is "really close" to returning, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Per John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site, Carroll said Brown has been able to sprint and cut, but the coach still estimated the cornerback is a couple weeks away from returning to practice. Still 2-3 weeks from returning
Coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Brown (knee) is still "two or three weeks away" from returning to play, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Analysis: Brown underwent surgery to repair a torn patella tendon in November of 2021 and began this season on Seattle's reserve/PUP list as a result, but it sounds like he could finally be ready to come back sometime soon. The sophomore fourth-rounder will likely be in line for a significant role in the Seahawks' defensive backfield whenever he becomes available again.

Analysis: With the move, Seattle will open up a spot on the active roster, but Brown will be forced to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. Resumes running Friday
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Brown (knee) has started running again and is "champing at the bit" to make his return, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Brown underwent surgery in November to address a knee injury that cut short his 2021 rookie season. Brown (knee) was placed on the active/PUP list Tuesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Brown was considered questionable for training camp after undergoing surgery in November. Analysis: Brown is still recovering from surgery that he underwent in November and may have to wait a little bit longer before he can return to the field. The 24-year-old cornerback was a solid contributor when healthy in 2021 and was beginning to emerge into a starting role before a patella tendon injury sidelined him for the final seven weeks of his rookie season. Season-ending surgery likely
Coach Pete Carroll says Brown (knee) will likely undergo season-ending surgery to repair a patella tendon injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: Brown has come on as a key contributor to Seattle's struggling secondary this season, playing over 50 percent of the team's defensive snaps over the four games prior to Sunday. The rookie accounted for 10 tackles and one pass deflection in five appearances this season before the first-half injury against Arizona. The loss of Brown would likely push cornerback Sidney Jones back into a larger role in Seattle's secondary.
