Pre-Season Outlook

London's third season finally saw him break out, no thanks to Kirk Cousins, whose struggles limited Atlanta's passing efficiency. The Falcons increased their passing attempts compared to previous years, which in turn boosted London's target volume, but the efficiency gains were modest. London's true surge came after Cousins was benched, as he caught 22 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns in the final three games with rookie Michael Penix at quarterback. Although London isn't a deep threat, his reliable hands and physicality allow him to create separation, make contested catches and gain yards after the catch. While he may not reach elite status in standard formats, his skill set suits PPR leagues, especially if he continues to develop chemistry with Penix and coordinator Zac Robinson. Early signs are promising, although it remains to be seen if Penix is truly a franchise quarterback.
