Won't play Thursday

Analysis: There was optimism that Dulcich would be able to return for Week 5, the earliest possible season debut for the tight end after starting the campaign on IR. Per coach Nathaniel Hackett, there's "a very high chance" that Dulcich (hamstring) will practice next week and return from injured reserve when first eligible to do so Week 5 against the Colts, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Analysis: The rookie tight end had been impressing in camp prior to getting hurt, so Dulcich could carve out a prominent role once he's back. Getting up to speed in time to face the Colts won't be easy, though, as the Broncos will have a short week of practice before playing Thursday in Week 5.

Headed for IR
The Broncos will place Dulcich (hamstring) on injured reserve this week, ruling him out for four games with the expectation he'll be be ready to play Week 5, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Analysis: Broncos GM George Paton said he expects the rookie tight end to be "100 percent" healthy after the four-game minimum stay on IR. It's not the kickoff to his career many hoped for when reports emerged during OTAs that Dulcich was seeing work with the starters, but it does seem he'll have chance to contribute on offense this year. The hamstring injury cost him most of training camp and all of the preseason, after initially being an issue at spring practices.
