Gets two touches in loss
Bond secured one of two targets for 18 yards and gained another nine yards on one carry in Sunday's 26-8 loss to the 49ers in Week 13.
Analysis: It's hard to get excited about anything related to the Cleveland's passing attack, but Bond's arrow appeared to be pointing slightly upward after he and quarterback Shedeur Sanders hooked up on a 52-yard play in Week 12. The target he didn't catch in Week 13 was on another deep throw. The rookie wideout has three catches on four targets for 76 yards in the two games in which the offense has been led by Sanders.

Catches deep ball from Sanders
Bond caught both of his targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Bond and Shedeur Sanders linked up for a 52-yard deep ball in the first quarter, which was two yards short of being Bond's first NFL touchdown but helped Bond tie his single-game career high in receiving yards. No other Browns wide receiver had more than one catch, so Cleveland's entire passing game will be tough to trust in Week 13 against the 49ers, regardless of whether Sanders or Dillon Gabriel (concussion) starts under center.

Returns to action
Bond had one carry for eight yards and did not catch his lone target in Sunday's 23-16 loss to Baltimore in Week 11.
Analysis: Bond returned to action after missing one game due to a foot injury, prompting the Browns to make Jamari Thrash inactive. Bond played 23 snaps, third most among the team's wideouts behind Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. Unfortunately Cleveland's offense, particularly its passing attack, is such a mess that there's little value in the team's third wideout.

Cleared for Sunday's game
Bond (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens after practicing fully Friday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Analysis: Bond -- who was inactive Week 10 -- was limited Wednesday and Thursday, but a full session Friday paves the way for the wideout to be available to face Baltimore in Week 11. That said, with Cedric Tillman back in the starting WR mix alongside Jerry Jeudy, and TEs David Njoku and Harold Fannin both commanding their share of targets on a weekly basis, Bond doesn't have a clear path to steady volume in Cleveland's offense.

Another limited practice
Bond (foot) was limited in Thursday's practice, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Analysis: Bond has now logged back-to-back limited practices to begin Week 11 prep, leaving him with one more chance to upgrade his activity level before the Browns decide whether to tag him with an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens. If cleared to suit up Sunday, Bond will compete with Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman (glute) for targets, as the No. 3 receiver in Cleveland.

Logs limited practice
Bond (foot) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Bond did not practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out for Week 10, so it's encouraging to see him handling limited reps Wednesday. With Cedric Tillman (lower body) having been activated from IR and potentially gearing up to retake the field Sunday versus the Ravens, however, Bond could be relegated to the No. 3 receiver role even if healthy.

Won't play this week
Bond (foot) won't play Sunday against the Jets, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: With Bond sidelined and thus targeting a return to action Sunday, Nov. 16 against the Ravens, fellow WRs Jerry Jeudy, Jamari Thrash and Gage Larvadain are candidates to see added snaps Sunday. Additionally, Cedric Tillman (hamstring, questionable) is expected to be activated off IR ahead of Week 10 action, and if that occurs, he could immediately step into a key role in Cleveland's passing offense.

Appears to be absent again
Bond (foot) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Bond hasn't practiced in any capacity all week, so he will presumably be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets when the Browns post their injury report later Friday. The rookie wide receiver has 11 catches for 123 yards on 30 targets in eight contests this season.

Sits out another practice Thursday
Bond (foot) isn't practicing Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Analysis: Bond has missed both of Cleveland's first two practices this week, suggesting a Week 9 bye hasn't provided him enough time to recover from the foot injury he sustained in a Week 8 loss to the Patriots. The rookie wide receiver seems to be trending toward missing Sunday's game against the Jets, though a return to practice Friday would change that narrative.

Misses practice with foot injury
Bond (foot) is not slated to practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Bond sustained a foot injury during Cleveland's loss to the Patriots in Week 8 and is still not back to full health after the Browns' bye week. He'll have two more chances to officially get back on the practice field ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Jets. When asked about Bond's status for Week 10, head coach Kevin Stefanski said "we'll see how it goes the next couple days," per Oyefusi. Cedric Tillman (hamstring) had his 21-day practice window opened Monday, and when he returns to…read more

Tending to injury
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Bond is still recovering from an undisclosed injury he sustained in the team's Week 8 loss to the Patriots, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Following their Week 9 bye, the Browns held an unofficial practice session Monday, and Bond wasn't present on the field. Stefanski said that an update on Bond's condition will be provided later in the week, and the nature of the wideout's injury should be known Wednesday, when Cleveland posts its first Week 10 practice report in advance of Sunday's game at the Jets. Bond had played at least 40 percent of the Browns' last six contests before the bye, but after accruing a 9-112-0 receiving line…read more

Diminished snap count again
Bond failed to secure any of his four targets in Sunday's 32-13 loss to New England in Week 8.
Analysis: Bond's 29 snaps were the second most among the wide receivers but also represented diminished playing time for the second consecutive game. He experienced an uptick between Weeks 2 and 6, getting on the field for 67 percent of the offensive snaps, and eventually settled in as the No. 2 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy when Cedric Tillman (hamstring) landed on injured reserve. However, Bond's snap share has dropped to 48 percent the last two weeks, during which he doesn't have a catch. Both Jamari…read more

Snap count drops Week 7
Bond was not targeted in Sunday's 31-6 win over the Dolphins in Week 7.
Analysis: Bond went untargeted for the first time in 2025 and had his fewest snaps (25, 44.0 percent) since Week 1. He initially flashed as a possible replacement for the injured Cedric Tillman (hamstring), but the drop in usage is noteworthy, although that drop came during a game in which bad weather off Lake Erie limited both teams to 269 combined passing yards. Bond entered the week having averaged 5.5 targets over the previous four games and was on the field for 71 snaps (87 percent) in Week 6.

Disappointing showing in Week 6
Bond recorded two receptions on five targets for nine yards in Sunday's 23-9 loss to Pittsburgh.
Analysis: Bond was gaining momentum in the Cleveland offense in recent weeks, but that changed during Sunday's loss. Though quarterback Dillon Gabriel took to the air 52 times in Week 6, tight end Harold Fannin and wideout Jerry Jeudy soaked up much of the targets. Bond was shut out on the stat sheet until early in the fourth quarter, finishing with his lowest yardage output since Week 2.

Season-high seven targets
Bond caught two of seven targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Vikings in Week 5.
Analysis: Bond was expected to see an uptick in usage following a hamstring injury to Cedric Tillman that landed him on injured reserve last week. Bond was on the field for 40 snaps, which is in line with his volume the two previous weeks, while the seven targets were a season high. The shift at quarterback from Joe Flacco to Dillon Gabriel didn't pan out so well for the wide receivers, who combined to haul in five of 13 targets, the fewest that group has logged in five games.

Listed as top punt returner
Bond is listed atop the unofficial depth chart as the punt returner ahead of Week 5 against Minnesota.
Analysis: The Browns had to scramble this week after placing DeAndre Carter (knee) on injured reserve following last week's loss to the Lions. Bond is slated to replace Carter on punts, while Jerome Ford is expected to return kickoffs. Bond had some experience fielding punts in college and earlier this season stepped in for a concussed Carter in Week 2. The added return role, however, is small potatoes compared to what is expected to be a larger profile as a receiver; Cleveland also placed wideout Cedric…read more

Looks set for increased workload
Bond is positioned for increased opportunities alongside Jerry Jeudy following the placement of Cedric Tillman (hamstring) on IR, Dan Labbe of cleveland.com reports.
Analysis: Bond led the Browns with 58 yards during the team's loss to the Lions in Week 4, securing three of six targets. That production came with Tillman playing just 15 offensive snaps due to his hamstring injury, which portends Bond stepping into a key role in his absence, beginning Sunday against the Vikings. Still, even as the clear No. 2 receiver in Cleveland as long as Tillman is sidelined, for Bond to attain consistent fantasy value the Browns' passing game will need to take a step forward with…read more

Yardage leader Sunday
Bond caught three of six targets for a team-high 58 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Detroit in Week 4.
Analysis: The rookie had a mini-breakout with Cedric Tillman getting limited to 15 snaps due to a hamstring injury. The targets and yardage were career highs for Bond, who should leap a spot on the depth chart if Tillman is forced to miss any time. The Browns' offense and passing attack has been anemic through the first quarter of the season however, and there may not be much value to be wrung from the team's No. 2 receiver role.

Playing time spikes Week 3
Bond caught two of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 13-10 win over Green Bay.
Analysis: Bond made his first start of the season and was given 43 snaps, nearly as many he had over the first two games. He's gone from 21 snaps in Week 1 to 28 in Week 2 before prior to a big jump in usage Sunday. Bond has emerged as the Browns' No. 3 wideout, which might normally hold value but not necessarily on an offense that has managed to score only 15 points per game.

Fill-in punt returner
Bond caught one of three targets for six yards, had one carry for nine yards and filled in as a punt returner in Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Ravens in Week 2.
Analysis: Bond added punt-return duties to his responsibilities following an injury to DeAndre Carter (concussion) early in the first quarter. Bond didn't get much work on that front, signaling for a fair catch on the one punt he fielded. While mixing in behind Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman through the first two weeks of the season, Bond has caught two of four targets for 11 yards.

Practices Tuesday
Bond practiced for the first time with the Browns on Tuesday, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Analysis: Cleveland signed Bond on Monday, shortly after a sexual assault charge against him was dropped. His three-year deal is fully guaranteed, a strong sign he'll be on the initial 53-man roster despite going undrafted in 2025. Bond told reporters that he's stayed sharp and been working out, and he feels ready to compete for a depth spot at wide receiver. The Texas product doesn't have much time to learn the playbook however, and may not have enough time to ramp up ahead of the Browns' final…read more

Inks three-year deal with Cleveland
The Browns signed Bond to a three-year, $3.018 million contract Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports.
Analysis: The deal is fully guaranteed and is consistent with the guarantees of a third-round draft pick. Bond went undrafted in April after he was accused of sexual assault, but the case was no-billed last week, paving the way for Bond to find a home in the NFL. Bond began his college career at Alabama but transferred to Texas for his final season. In total, Bond produced a 99-1,428-10 receiving line across three collegiate seasons. Bond is fast, but he wasn't an overly productive college wideout. Look…read more
