    • Blount and teammate Le'Veon Bell were...

Blount and teammate Le'Veon Bell were both charged by Ross Township Police with marijuana possession Wednesday, with Bell also charged with a DUI, Colin Dunlap of 93.7 The FAN reports.

Analysis: It's certainly a troubling development for the Steelers, with their top two runners busted with 20 grams of pot Wednesday. Bell was evidently behind the wheel, as he was charged with a DUI, but he's relatively clean in terms of off-the-field issues. Blount has avoided trouble as a pro, and while the league likely won't issue discipline until the case is resolved in court, it could put Blount on shaky ground with the organization. He's totaled just 10 yards on six carries so far this preseason.

Bell and teammate LeGarrette Blount were both charged by Ross Township Police with marijuana possession Wednesday, with Bell also charged with a DUI, Colin Dunlap of 93.7 The FAN reports.

Analysis: According to the report, Bell and Blount were caught with 20 grams of marijuana and a woman in the vehicle was also charged with possession. With Bell behind the wheel, he was also slapped with a DUI charge, but it's uncertain as to what sort of disciplinary action the league may take with either player. It seems likely the league will wait until the issue is resolved in court before issuing any suspensions. Bell has a clean record but Blount may be on shaky ground, perhaps opening the door for Dri Archer to see reps with the first-team.

    • Moreno (knee) is unsure if he...

Moreno (knee) is unsure if he will play in Saturday's preseason game against Dallas, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Analysis: Moreno has made good progress in his recovery from a knee scope, but is still trying to work himself into game shape. He spent part of practice Tuesday and Wednesday doing conditioning drills. The Dolphins will see how he progresses later this week before determining if he will play against the Cowboys on Saturday. During his recent absence, Moreno (who saw some first-team reps Wednesday) lost some ground to Lamar Miller in the team's starting running back competition, but assuming no setbacks, there's still time for Moreno to make a push for the assignment in advance of the Dolphins' season opener.

    • Williams may play defensive end at...

Williams may play defensive end at times following the loss of Darnell Dockett (knee) for the season, the Cardinals' official site reports. "I played it a little bit last year toward the end of the season, trying to spell Calais and Dockett for a few reps," Williams said. "I'm definitely going to do anything the coaches ask me."

Analysis: Williams has been injured at times during his four-year career yet still averaged 31.3 tackles in 13.5 games per season. If he's rushing the quarterback away from his customary spot at nose tackle, there's a high likelihood that he adds to his meager sack total of one to date. However, even with additional responsibilities, his IDP prospects won't approach that of line mates Calais Campbell and Dockett's replacement Frostee Rucker.

Wilson has displayed inconsistent tackling technique this preseason, according to the Miami Herald.

Analysis: Wilson would appear to have the inside track to start at safety for Miami early on due to the four-game suspension handed out to Reshad Jones, but Michael Thomas and rookie Walt Aikens could also factor into the mix as well.
