The Broncos allowed 18.3 points per game (third), generated 14 takeaways and 4.0 sacks per game (first) during the 2025 regular season.
Analysis: The Broncos' defensive front was arguably the most dominant unit in the NFL during the 2025 regular season. Four Denver defenders recorded at least 7.0 sacks, and their pass rush was led by Nik Bonitto, whose 14.0 sacks (across 17 games) were fifth most in the NFL. The Broncos earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and following the wild-card bye, they will welcome the Bills into Mile High Stadium for the divisional round.. The Buffalo offense doesn't have lethal pass catchers, but Denver's defense will have its hands full with reigning MVP Josh Allen and Pro Bowl running back James Cook. The Bills' rushing attack was stifled by the Jaguars during the wild-card round, and the Broncos defense finished second in the league in rushing yards allowed per game (91.1) during the regular season.
