Dowdle rushed the ball 16 times for 49 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Saints. He added one reception on one target for five yards.

Analysis: Dowdle reclaimed the lead-back role in Carolina, out-touching Chuba Hubbard 17-9. However, he found very limited room to run, with his longest gain going for only eight yards while averaging under 4.0 yards per carry for the fourth time in his last five games. Dowdle did manage to save his day with a four-yard touchdown midway through the first quarter, his first time reaching the end zone since Week 10. Overall, Dowdle has failed to reach 100 yards from scrimmage in four of his last five games despite seeing at least 17 touches in all but one matchup in that span.

Egbuka brought in four of seven targets for 64 yards in the Buccaneers' 29-28 loss to the Falcons on Thursday night.

Analysis: Egbuka tied for second in receptions while also checking in as the runner-up in receiving yards and targets to the returning Mike Evans. Thursday marked the first time the Buccaneers' top four receivers -- Evans, Egbuka, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan -- played together, but Egbuka's target tally took only a slight hit from that of his previous four contests, when he'd drawn between eight and nine looks from Baker Mayfield. Egbuka also recorded multiple catches of 20-plus yards (two) for the first time since Week 10, and he'll aim to continue capitalizing on the reduced defensive attention in a Week 16 road matchup against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Taylor rushed 25 times for 87 yards while bringing in three of four targets for 14 receiving yards in Sunday's 18-16 loss to Seattle.

Analysis: Since 44-year-old Philip Rivers wasn't able to be a downfield threat in his first start since 2021, he wasn't able to take the pressure off Taylor and Indianapolis' ground game Sunday. Once the Seahawks realized this, the defense was consistently stacking the box against the Colts' top weapon on offense, resulting in a pedestrian mark of 3.5 yards per carry. Taylor suffered a similar fate against Jacksonville in Week 14 after Daniel Jones (Achilles) left the contest, so it may be tough sledding for the superstar running back going forward without the threat of a deep passing attack. The 26-year-old Taylor will receive a heavy workload to help offset the recent drop in efficiency, and a soft matchup against the 49ers' defense next Monday boosts his prospects for Week 16.

Williams rushed 15 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns while catching his only target for 10 yards in Sunday's 41-34 win over the Lions.

Analysis: Williams got the Rams' offense cooking with a couple of trips to the end zone in the first half of Sunday's victory. The 24-year-old is now up to 10 rushing touchdowns on the season, giving him double-digits in the category for three consecutive years. Williams also hit the 1,000-yard mark as a rusher Sunday, a feat he has also accomplished in each of his last three campaigns. Blake Corum (11-71-1) remained a factor in his backup role, but Williams is the Rams' clear RB1 for Thursday's pivotal NFC West matchup against the Seahawks.

Chase had 10 catches for 132 yards on 16 targets in the Bengals' 24-0 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. No other Bengals pass catcher had more than 37 yards receiving.

Analysis: The big yardage day was bittersweet for Chase, as he didn't connect with Joe Burrow on a couple of key early plays, including one where he was open deep but Burrow checked down short of the sticks on a third-down play. With Tee Higgins (concussion) missing the game, Chase was targeted frequently but also drew the Ravens' constant attention on defense. The elite wideout's outlook for the rest of the season will be heavily dependent on whether the Bengals deem it wise to keep Burrow active now that they've been officially eliminated from postseason contention.
