PUTZINATOR Pulls Off Comeback over Big phineas, Puts Them in 7th Place
PUTZINATOR clinches a spot in the playoffs after taking down Big phineas again, this time by a final score of 139.72 to 136.02. Their record improves to 10-4, while Big phineas falls to 7-7. Big phineas isn't an easy win for PUTZINATOR, who now has a 9.62-point average margin of victory against them. That's a lot smaller than their league-leading margin of victory of 39.87. Jauan Jennings scored two touchdowns and was the difference this week, picking up 28.00 points. Jennings has been a good post-draft pickup for PUTZINATOR, averaging 15.49 on the season.
Gibbs had plenty of opportunities for Big phineas, but could only manage 73 total yards on 21 touches.
PUTZINATOR was very fortunate that Big phineas's best DEF had the week off, since the Chiefs Defense only managed 4.00 points. If the Texans Defense (8.62 points per game this season) had played and maintained their average, PUTZINATOR would've lost by 0.92 points. Each side, as it turns out, was keen enough to pick winners in real life.
