      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Steven Steals Win from maxifootball to Capture 9th Place

Steven (4-5, 982.76 points) got the win over maxifootball (6-3, 1,166.28 points) 115.80 to 111.06. They were led by Garrett Wilson with 30.00 points off of two touchdowns and Lamar Jackson (280 Pas Yds, 3 TD), who had 23.60. Heading into Sunday, Steven was out in front 30.00 to 22.10, thanks to a big game during the Texans/Jets Thursday night game from Wilson. That advantage slipped away after the early Sunday games and they trailed by 23.50. Steven secured the comeback victory on Monday night, thanks to 6.00 points from Chase McLaughlin during the Buccaneers/Chiefs game.

Considering Zach Ertz could only put up 1.50 points, Steven was very lucky that maxifootball's top TE was on his bye week. If George Kittle (18.04 points per game this year) had suited up and hit his average, Steven would've been beaten by 11.80 points. Wilson has now led Steven in scoring twice in the past four weeks, joining Lamar Jackson, the team's leading scorer in Week 7 (with 34.44 points) and Week 8 (with 24.16 points). It wasn't all bad news for maxifootball, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Kenneth Walker III suited up for an NFL team that won this week.

In Week 10, Steven will face the last-place team in the league, Little GTO (3-6, 1,042.90). maxifootball will take on IronRangers (4-5, 992.86).
