The triple threat of Keenan Allen, James Cook, and Saquon Barkley carried the team, as Pink Prowlers humiliated All Stars V2 145.32 to 95.80. That threesome combined to score 83.70 points, topping the production from the top scorers from All Stars V2 (Patrick Mahomes, Davante Adams, and George Kittle), who totaled 62.10 points. Cook scored two touchdowns, accounting for 27.60 points (100 Rsh Yds, 26 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD). Barkley recorded 150 rushing yards to contribute 27.00 points (150 Rsh Yds, 2 TD), while Allen pitched in 29.10 points (141 Rec Yds, 1 TD). Also, Allen recorded his highest point total of the season. The 49.52-point win for Pink Prowlers was the eighth-largest in the league this year.
There were a few players in this matchup that had plenty of chances but left some points out on the field. On the losing side, Kendre Miller and Isiah Pacheco got 20 total touches but only tallied 57 all-purpose yards between them. For Pink Prowlers, Rico Dowdle managed just 51 yards on 16 touches.
Pink Prowlers was on a different level in the backfield, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall RBs this week.
For the victors, a few players have been warming up at the right time, including the Chicago WR and Puka Nacua. Over the past four games, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 93% and 86%, respectively. Despite the playoff loss, Adams was playing well during the stretch run for All Stars V2. Over the last four games, he has averaged 26.52 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 94%.
Next week, the league championship will be decided when Pink Prowlers battles top-seeded Blackjack. Pink Prowlers is winless against Blackjack in two matchups this season, with their most recent loss coming in Week 13. All Stars V2 wrapped up the regular season in third place with a record of 9-6. Perhaps benefiting from some good fortune, they ranked just seventh in the league in scoring average at 120.56 points per game. All Stars V2 was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
