      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

The Great Khalil Picks Up Win Against Apex Predators and Hands Them 8th Straight Loss

Apex Predators labored to score points this week and lost to The Great Khalil 135.00 to 44.00. The Great Khalil took a 7.00-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. After dropping their last eight matchups, Apex Predators should be looking toward next year. Adding insult to injury, Apex Predators had two starters score zero points (Justin Tucker and Stefon Diggs). The Great Khalil (5-4, 839.00 points) remains in ninth place and Apex Predators (1-8, 571.00 points) stays mired in the cellar.

It wasn't all bad news for Apex Predators, as they did field a team of real-life winners. Every starter except the Houston WR played on an NFL team that won this past week. Since Herbert was the high scorer for The Great Khalil, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 32.00 points, E.J. Speed paced the squad in Week 4, while D'Andre Swift (27.00 points) was team-leader in Week 5 and Brian Branch (43.00 points) led the way in Week 6. Germaine Pratt (29.00 points) was tops in Week 7 and Jared Goff (39.00 points) led last week.

Next week, The Great Khalil will face Apex Predators (1-8, 571.00), the last-place team in the league. Apex Predators takes on The Great Khalil (5-4, 839.00).
