Added to Titans' active roster
The Titans signed Oliver from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Oliver was signed by Tennessee in May as an undrafted free agent, and although he didn't make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, he opted to stick around on the practice squad. Oliver could see some snaps against the Patriots on Sunday if Tyler Boyd (shoulder) is unable to play.

Sticking with Tennessee
Oliver signed with the Titans' practice squad Thursday, Serena Burks of USA Today reports.
Analysis: Oliver shined during camp and preseason, making eight catches on 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the strong showing, the Youngstown State product was unable to garner a spot on the team's 53-man roster. However, he was able to clear waivers, and despite garnering interest from other teams, he ultimately decided to stay with the Titans and further develop on their practice squad.

Let go by Tennessee
The Titans waived Oliver on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Oliver signed with the Titans in May as an undrafted free agent. The Youngstown State product entered training camp competing for a depth receiving role, and across three preseason games he accumulated eight catches on 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns, both of which came in the preseason finale against the Saints on Sunday. Despite the strong finish, it wasn't enough for Oliver to crack the Titans' 53-man roster, though he could be invited back to join Tennessee's practice squad.
