Clean receiving performance Monday
Kupp hauled in all seven of his targets for 80 yards in Monday's 23-15 loss to Miami.
Analysis: Kupp turned in another efficient effort starting alongside fellow star wideout Puka Nacua. The 31-year-old Kupp continues to be the definition of consistency as he enters the later stages of his career, producing usable fantasy lines in four out of his five healthy appearances this season. Managers should continue starting Kupp with confidence as the Rams prepare to take on the Patriots in Week 11.

Goes for 11-104-0 on Sunday
Kupp corralled 11 of 14 targets for 104 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: Kupp went for 5-51-1 in his return from an ankle injury last week, and he improved on those totals with Sunday's 11-catch effort. The 31-year-old survived trade rumors in recent weeks to remain Matthew Stafford's favorite target in a tight victory. Fellow starter Puka Nacua was ejected from Sunday's tilt in the first half, but both receivers figure to be available for a Monday Night Football matchup against Miami in Week 10.

Five catches in return
Kupp (ankle) brought in five of eight targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 30-20 win over the Vikings on Thursday night.
Analysis: Kupp was second to fellow returnee Puka Nacua (knee) across the board in his receiving line, but the former was the only one of the two to find the end zone. Kupp recorded a seven-yard touchdown grab early in the second quarter, the second score of his injury-shortened campaign. Provided trade rumors that have been circulating about Kupp prove inaccurate, the veteran wideout should once again be in for a key role during a Week 9 road matchup against the division-rival Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Cleared for return Thursday
Kupp (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Thursday's game against Minnesota, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: Kupp is officially in the clear to make his first appearance since Week 2 after he was listed as a full participant in walk-throughs Monday and Tuesday and in Wednesday's practice. Fellow Rams wideout Puka Nacua (knee) is listed as questionable but has yet to be activated from injured reserve, while rookie receiver Jordan Whittington (shoulder) has been ruled out for the Week 8 contest.

Estimated as full practice participant
Kupp (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Monday's practice estimate, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp thus is on pace to play Thursday night against the Vikings, with Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site having previously relayed Monday that coach Sean McVay noted that the wideout's workload for the contest is "to be determined." Look for added context on that front to arrive in the next couple of days, but Kupp's looming return to the lineup should provide a huge boost to a pass-catching corps that still is without Puka Nacua (knee).

Workload for Thursday TBD
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Monday that the workload Kupp (ankle) will handle during Thursday's game against the Vikings is "to be determined," Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: McVay said he's "definitely excited to have [Kupp] back" from his four-game absence, but it sounds like the veteran wideout may be operating on some amount of a snap count Thursday. Coming out of Los Angeles' bye, Kupp managed three consecutive limited practices before being ruled out for Week 7. Expected to play Thursday
Coach Sean McVay said after Sunday's 20-15 win over the Raiders that he expects Kupp (ankle) to play Thursday against the Vikings, Adam Grosbard of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Kupp logged three consecutive limited practices leading up to Sunday's win but ultimately was ruled out after being listed as questionable Friday. The team was evidently pleased with what it saw from Kupp in practice, as the star receiver's expected to see his first action since Week 2 when the Rams return to action Thursday against the Vikings. Kupp's status leading up to the game still will be worth tracking, though the Rams may hold walkthroughs rather than full practices on a short week.

Sitting out another contest
Kupp (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Raiders, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp has been sidelined since the first half of a Week 2 loss at Arizona due to a left high-ankle sprain. He's missed three games in the meantime, but following the Rams' Week 6 bye, he was able to log three consecutive limited sessions and potentially set himself up for a return to action. Having said that, Kupp's questionable tag came with a grain of salt, as coach Sean McVay was tepid regarding the wide receiver's status all week, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com. Kupp (ankle) remains listed as questionable but appears unlikely to play Sunday versus the Raiders, sources tell Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Analysis: Kupp missed the Rams' final three games before the team's Week 6 bye with a left high-ankle sprain, but he took his first meaningful steps forward in his recovery from the injury by returning to practice this week as a limited participant. Though head coach Sean McVay said coming out of Friday's session that Kupp still had a chance to play Sunday, the Rams are seemingly leaning toward holding the wideout out for one more contest. Possible game-time decision
Kupp (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Raiders and may come down to a game-time decision, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Kupp last played Week 2 and returned to practice this week as a limited participant coming out of a bye. The Rams have two games coming up in a five-day stretch, hosting the Vikings on Thursday after Sunday's matchup with the Raiders. Head coach Sean McVay said Friday that Kupp "had a good week," and "there's a possibility" he'll play Sunday, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com.

Kupp (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: During the open portion of Thursday's session, Kupp seemed to be mimicking his activity level from one day prior, which has been confirmed on the Rams' second Week 7 injury report. He's seeking to return to action for the first time since Week 2, when he initially suffered a left high-ankle sprain. Individual work on tap Wednesday
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp (ankle) will participate in individual drills but not team work during Wednesday's practice, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp likely will go down as a limited participant in his first practice since he sustained a left high-ankle sprain Week 2 against the Cardinals. On Monday, McVay was non-committal about Kupp returning to action Week 7, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. At the very least, logging on-field work Wednesday is a decent sign for Kupp, but how he feels after the session may be the more telling sign for his availability, or lack thereof, Sunday versus the Raiders.

Kupp (ankle) has a workout scheduled with trainers Monday, but his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders has yet to be determined, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports. "There is a possibility he could be ready this week," McVay said of Kupp. "There's also a possibility that he might not be ready."
Analysis: Kupp has been sidelined since he injured his ankle Week 2 against the Cardinals. More clarity on Kupp's status for Sunday's game will emerge when the Rams hold their first official practice session of Week 7 on Wednesday, but the veteran wideout looks like he has a chance to put an end to his three-game absence coming out of the team's Week 6 bye. Week 7 status TBD
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that a Week 7 return for Kupp (ankle) "would be an ideal target," but he added that was an "optimistic target date" and "by no means is that guaranteed," Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Per Rodrigue, McVay declined to say whether Kupp will return to practice after the Rams' Week 6 bye, so the wideout's Week 7 status remains cloudy at this stage. Kupp suffered a left ankle sprain in the Rams' Sept. 15 loss to the Cardinals and hasn't practiced since then.

Targeting Week 7 return
Kupp (ankle) will remain out for Sunday's game against the Packers, but the Rams are hopeful that the wide receiver will be ready to return to the lineup following their Week 6 bye, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Since suffering a left high-ankle sprain in the Rams' Sept. 15 loss to the Cardinals, Kupp hasn't practiced in any capacity and is set to miss a third consecutive game Sunday. The Rams are apparently optimistic that Kupp will be able to resume on-field work coming out of the bye week, however, and if he experiences no setbacks during Week 7 prep, the expectation is that he'll suit up for the team's Oct. 20 game against the Raiders. Head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Kupp (ankle) won't play Sunday against the Packers, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Analysis: With the Rams on bye Week 6, Kupp's next chance to see game action will arrive Sunday, Oct. 20 against the Raiders. Kupp (ankle) is expected to miss at least the Rams' Week 5 game against the Packers, Fox's Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday.
Analysis: This falls in line with earlier reports that suggested next week would be difficult for Kupp to play. The Rams are on bye in Week 6, so it's a logical decision not to rush him back. Meanwhile, teammate Puka Nacua (knee) isn't expected to return until at least Week 8.

Kupp seems to be making progress in his recovery, though with the Rams scheduled for a Week 6 bye, it wouldn't be surprising to see him remain out through the team's Week 5 matchup against the Packers. Ruled out
Kupp (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against San Francisco, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis: It was only a matter of time, as the conversation surrounding Kupp has been more about injured reserve than his Week 3 availability. The Rams can only bring eight players back from IR all season and have six or seven return candidates on the list already, so they may keep Kupp on the active roster even if he's expected to miss four or more games. The team hasn't specifically commented on that aspect, but coach Sean McVay did say Monday that Kupp is likely out for an "extended period of time."

Slated to miss time
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Kupp (ankle) is expected to be out for "an extended period of time" and could land on injured reserve, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Kupp sprained his left ankle during Sunday's loss to the Cardinals and is now in line to miss some time. With Puka Nacua (knee) already on IR, the Rams' top healthy options at wideout are currently Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington. A move to IR would force Kupp to miss at least four games, but the Rams have yet to make the transaction official and may instead prefer to take a week-to-week approach with the star wideout.

Sports walking boot after loss
Kupp was spotted leaving the Rams' locker room with his left ankle in a walking boot after Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Cardinals, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp hurt his ankle late in the first half and was ruled out at halftime, finishing the day with four catches for 37 yards on six targets. The star wide receiver's return timeline has yet to be established, but Kupp certainly seems to be in danger of sitting out next Sunday's game against the 49ers. Kupp's injury is an unfortunate development for a Rams team that's off to a 0-2 start and already down another starting wide receiver in Puka Nacua (knee), who is on injured reserve.

Locked in as No. 1 receiver
Kupp is expected to take on greater volume in the Los Angeles passing attack for at least the next four games after the Rams placed Puka Nacua (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Kupp becomes an obvious favorite to lead not only the Rams but the entire NFL in targets while Nacua is sidelined for at least Weeks 2 through 5. Even with Nacua playing two quarters in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Rams, Kupp was still the only player in the NFL with more than 12 targets during the opening week of the season, reeling in 14 of 21 looks for 110 yards and a touchdown (and adding two carries for 10 yards). Kupp hauled in 14 of his game-high 21 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Lions. He added two carries for 10 yards.
Analysis: Kupp popped off with a monster receiving line to begin the fantasy season after beginning last year on the PUP list due to injury. Analysis: The Rams held nearly half their roster out of the preseason opener against Dallas, including a lot of their more highly regarded backups, and coach Sean McVay said the list of rested players could be even longer for the team's second exhibition. Kupp has told reporters he's 100 percent healthy for the offseason program, unlike in recent years at the same juncture. Quiet in playoff loss
Kupp caught five of nine targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 24-23 wild-card round loss to the Lions.
Analysis: Kupp made a key six-yard catch to convert a fourth-and-5 in the second quarter, which was immediately followed by a 38-yard Tutu Atwell touchdown catch on the next play. Outside of that contribution, Kupp was surprisingly quiet in the playoff exit while Puka Nacua racked up 181 yards and a touchdown. Kupp caught four of six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-25 win over the Giants.

Inefficient with 12 targets
Kupp brought in six of 12 targets for 52 yards and rushed once for minus-3 yards in the Rams' 30-22 win over the Saints on Thursday night.
Analysis: Kupp led the Rams in targets and tied for second in receptions on a night when Matthew Stafford connected with only four targets overall. The veteran was more inefficient than usual with his opportunities, and his night was particularly a disappointment in light of the fact Kupp was coming off back-to-back 100-yard performances. Nevertheless, the 2017 third-round pick now has at least six grabs in four straight games going into a Week 17 road matchup against the Giants on New Year's Eve.

Kupp recorded eight receptions on eight targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-20 win over the Commanders.

He quickly changed that, however, as he went completely uncovered on the second play of the second half and recorded a 62-yard touchdown. That propelled Kupp to his second consecutive 100-yard performance. Despite splitting targets fairly evenly with Puka Nacua, Kupp looks poised to end the season in strong form.

Analysis: The veteran wideout salvaged his day with a three-yard TD strike from Matthew Stafford late in the fourth quarter, as the Rams broke open what had been a close game to that point. Kupp hasn't reached 50 receiving yards in a game since Week 6, which was also the last time he'd gotten into the end zone, and the injuries the 30-year-old has battled the last couple years seem to have taken their toll. Gets back to limited Thursday
Kupp (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp suffered a low right-ankle sprain this past Sunday versus the Seahawks, and he didn't log any on-field work to kick off Week 12 prep. His return to drills Thursday may have been a test to see how his ankle holds up, meaning his listing on Friday's practice report should be telling for his availability ahead of Sunday's game at Arizona. Meanwhile, fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua (shoulder) followed up Wednesday's capped session with all activity one day later, so it appears the Rams should…read more

In line to practice Thursday
Kupp (ankle) is slated to practice Thursday, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp didn't return to this past Sunday's win against the Seahawks after suffering what eventually diagnosed as a low right-ankle sprain in the second quarter. He was unable to practice Wednesday, so his expected return to the field one day later seemingly is a good sign as the Rams make their way through Week 12 prep. Thursday's injury report will reveal Kupp's activity level.

Sitting out first Week 12 practice
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp (ankle) won't participate in Wednesday's practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Though Kupp is considered day-to-day with what has been reported as a right low-ankle sprain, McVay said Monday that he's hopeful the veteran wideout won't miss any game action, according to Greg Beacham of the Associated Press. With an absence from practice Wednesday, Kupp isn't starting Week 12 prep off on the right foot, but he'll have two more chances to potentially log some on-field activity and put himself in a position to play Sunday against the Cardinals. May not miss game action
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Kupp (ankle) has a chance to play in Sunday's game at Arizona, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Kupp departed in the second quarter of this past Sunday's win against the Seahawks and eventually was diagnosed with a low right-ankle sprain. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Monday that Kupp was considered day-to-day, wording that was mimicked by McVay. There's a high likelihood that Kupp will operate with practice restrictions this week, with his listing on Friday's injury report telling for his potential to suit up Week 12.

Viewed as day-to-day
Kupp is considered day-to-day after suffering a right low-ankle sprain in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Seahawks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Kupp has a history of ankle issues, but his reported diagnosis of a low-ankle sprain has to be considered good news in the grand scheme of things. He was injured early in the Week 11 win and was unable to return to the contest, despite being spotted on the sideline in uniform testing out the ankle. The Rams will exercise caution this week in determining Kupp's status for next Sunday's game in Arizona, but the wideout looks to have a realistic shot at playing.

Nursing low-ankle sprain
Kupp suffered a low right-ankle sprain during Sunday's 17-16 win over the Seahawks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Kupp reportedly tried to reenter Sunday's contest after initially injuring his ankle, and the fact that he didn't suffer a high-ankle sprain could mean he'll avoid a long-term recovery timetable. The injury does, however, make the veteran wideout's chances of playing Week 12 versus the Cardinals murky. Kupp now has gone four consecutive games without scoring or surpassing 50 receiving yards. If he's forced to miss any time, Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell will operate as the Rams' top wide receivers.

Ruled out of Sunday's game
Kupp (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game versus the Seahawks, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp appeared to be gimpy on the sideline before making his way to the locker room in the second quarter. Eventually, an ankle injury was revealed to be the culprit, and he'll end Week 11 with just one catch (on one target) for 11 yards. In Kupp's stead, Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell will be the Rams' top options at wide receiver.

Injures ankle Sunday
Kupp headed to the locker room during the first half of Sunday's game against the Seahawks due to an ankle injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Prior to his exit from the game, Kupp caught his only target for 11 yards. In his absence, look for Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell to see added pass-catching opportunities for the Rams.

Quiet in defeat
Kupp caught two of seven targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Kupp struggled to make his usual impact with backup Brett Rypien under center and managing just 130 passing yards. However, with what is now three straight sub-50-yard performances, Kupp's performance level has hit a lull. He'll strive to bounce back once the Rams return from their bye week, which could coincide with Matthew Stafford (thumb) re-entering the lineup.

Slowed again
Kupp recorded four receptions on 10 targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 43-20 loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: The Rams' offense was held in check throughout the game, as Darrell Henderson was the team's leading receiver with 54 yards. Meanwhile, Kupp has combined to record just six receptions for 50 yards across his last two games. Particularly concerning for his outlook moving forward is that Matthew Stafford suffered a thumb injury in the loss, leaving Brett Rypien as the potential starter for a Week 9 matchup at Green Bay.

Held in check
Kupp recorded two receptions on seven targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers. He also was on the receiving end of a two-point conversion.
Analysis: The Steelers made a clear effort to neutralize Kupp, and as a result, the Rams pivoted Puka Nacua as their most-targeted receiver. Kupp's most notable contributions were a 24-yard catch early in the second quarter as well as a reception to convert a two-point attempt following a score immediately after halftime. This was his first underwhelming performance since returning from a hamstring injury, and he'll look to bounce back in a Week 8 matchup against the Cowboys.

Breaks century mark again
Kupp secured seven of nine targets for 148 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 26-9 victory over the Cardinals.
Analysis: For the second straight contest since returning from a hamstring injury, Kupp led the Rams in targets, receptions and receiving yardage, and unlike last week against the Eagles, no one else came close to touching the former All-Pro's gaudy stat line as the rest of the team combined managed only eight catches for 78 yards. Kupp secured eight of 12 targets for 118 yards during Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: Any fleeting concerns about the former All-Pro wideout were washed away in a hurry on the Rams' opening drive, as Kupp was peppered with six targets that he converted into five catches for 56 yards. The veteran led the team in targets, receptions and yards and also had the Rams' longest play on the day, a 39-yard catch late in the second quarter that led to a Puka Nacua touchdown. He was listed as a limited participant in his return to practice Wednesday, but he closed the week as a full participant. Set to play Sunday
Kupp (hamstring) has been activated off injured reserve Saturday and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Analysis: The All-Pro receiver is thus set to take the field with a new-look Rams offense that has generated plenty of potent plays with previously unheralded rookie Puka Nacua and 2021 second-round pick Tutu Atwell. Expect Kupp to be a featured target, but perhaps not to the level of past seasons given the emergence of the aforementioned duo.

Analysis: Head coach Sean McVay essentially confirmed Kupp would move to injured reserve earlier this week when he refrained from suggesting a timetable for return. The Rams haven't ruled Kupp out of anything besides Monday's practice yet, but it's not the best sign for Week 1 that he's taking a three-day trip to Minnesota to meet with a specialist right when the Rams are starting preparations for their season opener. Analysis: Sean McVay acknowledged Thursday that Kupp had suffered a recent setback, though the coach's use of the term "day-to-day" suggests he hasn't given up on the wideout playing Week 1 at Seattle. While he was present at the Rams' final set of OTAs last Tuesday, this week's development marked his first notable on-field work of the offseason program. Analysis: Kupp, who underwent season-ending ankle surgery last November, wasn't present for the start of the Rams' OTAs while he and his wife awaited the birth of their third child. He made his first offseason appearance at the team's facilities Tuesday, but he worked off to the side with trainers and didn't participate in any team or individual drills. He refrained from giving a timeline for his return to full-speed drills, saying he'll leave that decision up to the team's medical staff. Kupp's absence…read more

Not present for start of OTAs
Kupp (ankle) isn't taking part in the start of the Rams' OTA workouts, as he and his wife are expecting their third child soon, Skyler Carlin of USA Today reports.
Analysis: Fantasy managers eager to see the star wideout return to the field after undergoing tightrope surgery for a right high-ankle sprain in November will have to wait a little longer, as Kupp awaits the arrival of a new member of his family. When Kupp does get back on the field for practice, he'll do so under the watchful eye of a new offensive coordinator (Mike LaFleur). Aside from subtracting Allen Robinson and gaining fifth-round draft pick Puka Nacua in the offseason, Kupp will be returning to a…read more

Progressing well after surgery
Kupp told reporters during Rams exit interviews that his rehab from ankle surgery is going well, Cameron DeSilva of USA Today reports.
Analysis: Kupp chose to undergo tightrope surgery to repair his right high-ankle sprain instead of hoping it would heal with just rest, a decision made considerably easier given the Rams' 3-7 record at the time of the injury. Prior to the procedure, Kupp was on pace for another huge season with a 75-812-6 line through nine games and an additional 9-52-1 rushing line, which includes his injury-shortened Week 10 contest. Kupp was quoted during the interview as saying, "The trainers all feel good where…read more

Unlikely to return this season
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that he doesn't see a scenario in which Kupp (ankle) returns from injured reserve before the end of the season, Greg Beacham of The Associated Press reports. "You won't see Cooper this year," McVay said. "Aaron [Donald], there's still a possibility, but Cooper, I would be hard-pressed to see any scenario that he would play again this year."
Analysis: When Kupp was placed on injured reserve in mid-November after undergoing surgery to address a right high-ankle sprain, he was given an estimated recovery timeline of 6-8 weeks. The short end of that timeline positioned Kupp for a return in Week 17, but unsurprisingly McVay isn't counting on the All-Pro receiver to suit up again this season while the injury-riddled Rams sit at 4-9 and are on the cusp of being eliminated from the playoffs. Likely out 6-to-8 weeks
Kupp is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks after undergoing surgery Wednesday to address his right high-ankle sprain, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Schefter also notes that the Rams, currently at 3-6, would need to move toward playoff contention in order for Kupp to attempt a return this season, rather than focusing his recovery on the 2023 campaign. The 29-year-old amassed a 75-812-6 receiving line on 98 targets through nine appearances and added another 52 yards and a touchdown on the ground, so his absence leaves Los Angeles with a clear void at the No. 1 wideout position. Needs surgery, going on IR
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp will undergo surgery Wednesday to address his right high-ankle sprain, and the receiver will be placed on injured reserve, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The Rams aren't yet willing to rule out the possibility of Kupp returning in Week 15 after the minimum four-game stint on IR, but with the team sitting on a 3-6 record and on the outside looking in for a playoff spot, there's a chance the star wideout's 2022 campaign is over. According to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, Kupp is having a "tightrope procedure," which typically carries a 4-to-8-week recovery timeline. With that in mind, even if the Rams find themselves in the playoff picture by…read more

Dealing with high-ankle sprain
Kupp suffered a right high-ankle sprain in Sunday's 27-17 loss to Arizona, and the prognosis "doesn't sound good," Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: The Rams had some optimism around Kupp's injury after initial tests revealed that he avoided a fractured ankle, but further examination revealed ligament damage. While a return timetable for the star wide receiver has yet to be established, high-ankle sprains typically take 4-to-6 weeks to recover from, and the Rams can ill afford to lose Kupp for that long considering they're on the verge of falling out of the playoff race at 3-6.

Avoids worst-case scenario
Kupp is expected to miss some time due to the right ankle injury he sustained in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Cardinals, but he appears to have avoided the worst-case scenario, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Kupp went to the locker room after getting hit in the fourth quarter of the Week 10 loss. Head coach Sean McVay admitted after the game that he initially feared Kupp a season-ending injury, but the star wideout looks to be dealing with a less severe setback than anticipated. Even so, Kupp won't be completely out of the woods until more test results come in, and his chances of playing Week 11 against New Orleans aren't looking promising for the time being.

No update yet but McVay pessimistic
Coach Sean McVay didn't have a post-game update on Kupp's (ankle) status after Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Cardinals, but he said the injury "didn't look good, didn't sound good," Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: It's not clear if this injury is related to the ankle injury Kupp sustained in Week 8 against the 49ers, but he limped to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Arizona after taking a low hit. Further tests will have to be run before an update surfaces on the star receiver's status, but McVay's somber tone regarding the injury suggests Kupp could be in danger of sitting out against the Saints in Week 11 and possibly beyond.

Leaves Sunday's game
Kupp (ankle) went to the locker room early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis: Kupp incurred a low hit from Arizona cornerback Marco Wilson and was seen holding his right leg after the play. After receiving medical attention, he was hobbled going to the sideline, where he was looked at by team trainers before limping to the locker room. Officially doubtful to return, Kupp likely will finish Week 10 action with three catches for minus-1 yard on five targets.

Gets little help in loss
Kupp caught eight of nine targets for 127 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: The All-Pro wideout accounted for an incredible 77 percent of Matthew Stafford's passing yards on a day in which no other Ram has any success at all on offense. Kupp has topped 100 receiving yards in five of eight games this season while hauling in six TD catches and adding one more on the ground, and he seems just about matchup-proof heading into a Week 10 clash with the Cardinals.

Good to go
Kupp (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Fellow wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) is listed as questionable, but with coach Sean McVay saying he's optimistic Jefferson will play. Kupp's availability is far more important to the Rams offense, of course, and he'll avoid missed time after hurting his ankle deep in garbage time of the Week 8 loss to San Francisco. Kupp (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: After sitting out Wednesday's session, Kupp was expected to get back on the field Thursday with a cap on his reps, which came to pass. He may continue to operate with practice limitations this week after having his right ankle rolled up near the end of this past Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Analysis: The Rams are taking it easy on Kupp after he hurt his right ankle in the waning minutes of a Week 8 loss to the 49ers. Kupp (ankle) will be a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: On his last touch of this past Sunday's loss to the 49ers, Kupp's right ankle bent awkwardly as he was tackled to the ground. He eventually was diagnosed with a sprained ankle, with head coach Sean McVay telling Rodrigue on Monday that the wide receiver avoided structural damage but has some swelling in the affected region. Despite not practicing Wednesday, Kupp is expected to be able to play Sunday at Tampa Bay, so he's a decent bet to get back on the field Thursday and/or Friday.

Analysis: Per Rodrigue, McVay noted that Kupp has some tissue swelling in his ankle but added that the Rams' top receiver avoided structural damage. Piles up yardage in Week 6 win
Kupp caught seven of eight targets for 80 yards and added 17 rushing yards on two carries in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Panthers.
Analysis: For only the second time through six games this season, Kupp failed to reach triple digits in receiving yards, but he nearly made up the difference on the ground. Scores on ground against Cards
Kupp caught four of six targets for 44 yards and ran for a 20--yard touchdown on his only carry in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Cardinals.

Kupp hadn't seen fewer than seven targets in a game since Week 15 of 2020, and he should see higher volume again in next week's NFC West clash with the 49ers.

Once the regular season kicks off, Kupp -- who is slated to start alongside Allen Robinson -- is in line to log plenty of passing targets from QB Matthew Stafford (elbow), on the heels of an all-world 2021 campaign in which he racked up a 145/1,947/16 stat line in 17 games.

Kupp has now posted three straight games with both 100-plus yards and a touchdown, his second such streak this season. The wideout did his usual work moving the sticks in the first half, but he saw teammates Odell Beckham and Van Jefferson find the end zone before he hauled in a four-yard touchdown during the third quarter. Kupp was then leaned on more heavily in the fourth, when he also made a 44-yard catch on a perfectly placed ball by quarterback Matthew Stafford. With that gain helping him…read more

Full practice Friday
Kupp (toe) was a full practice participant Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Analysis: Kupp's first appearance on the injury report all season entailed one limited practice before he returned to full participation. He's seen at least nine targets in every game this year and should see plenty of looks Monday night against the Cardinals.

Dealing with toe injury
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp will be limited in Thursday's walk-through practice due to a toe injury, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Kupp will make his first appearance on the injury report all season, as he's otherwise either been a full participant in every practice or sat out for rest purposes through the first 13 weeks of the season. The fifth-year wideout didn't show any obvious sign of being hurt in the Rams' Week 13 win over the Jaguars, rolling to his seventh 100-plus-yard receiving outing in Los Angeles' 37-7 win. Keeps rolling
Kupp caught eight passes for 129 yards and one touchdown on 10 targets against Jacksonville on Sunday.
Analysis: The Rams' passing game was a bit sluggish in the first half, but quarterback Matthew Stafford caught fire in the second half by throwing one touchdown each to Kupp, Van Jefferson and Odell Beckham on the team's first three drives. It's a reminder that a player of Kupp's usage level and abilities can smash for his fantasy investors even in games during which the Rams' offense sputters at times. Racks up catches late
Kupp recorded seven catches on 10 targets for 96 yards in Sunday's 36-28 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Kupp recorded two receptions -- both of which came on the team's final drive of the second quarter -- for 41 yards at halftime. He padded his stats in the second half as the Rams played from behind, and the end result was his fifth consecutive game with 90 or more receiving yards. Kupp narrowly missed a bigger day, as it appeared that he had thrown a touchdown to Van Jefferson prior to the play being overturned upon review. Good numbers in defeat
Kupp caught 11 of 13 targets for 122 yards in Monday night's 31-10 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Kupp once again put up big numbers, but most his production came with the outcome of the game already decided. Nonetheless, the Rams being in catch-up mode enabled Kupp to haul in double-digit passes for the third time this season, while he surpassed 100 yards for the sixth time. Although it remains to be seen whether the loss of teammate Robert Woods (knee) and addition of Odell Beckham will impact Kupp's sky-high stock at all, the Rams now entering their bye week and it will give the entire…read more

Monster PPR performance
Kupp corralled 11 of 13 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 28-16 loss to the Titans.
Analysis: Kupp fell just short of extending his streak of 100-plus receiving yard games to four, but he did record his second double-digit reception day this season. The 28-year-old has arguably been the best wideout in all of football this year, totaling 74 receptions, 1,019 yards and 10 touchdowns through nine games. Kupp recorded seven receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown on nine targets against Houston on Sunday.
Analysis: Kupp continues his pursuit of the WR1 title in fantasy for the 2021 season, logging his third straight game with 100 yards and a touchdown through the air. He's up to 63 receptions for 924 yards and 10 touchdowns on 90 targets through eight games -- already good for more fantasy points than he scored in 15 games in 2020. Kupp totaled 10 receptions on 13 targets for 156 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Lions.
Analysis: It's been clear for some time now that the change from Jared Goff to Matthew Stafford created the conditions for Kupp to break out to an entirely new level, but it's still difficult to not be more impressed with Kupp each passing week. He's in the hunt for WR1 distinction in fantasy this year, and through seven games he's up to 56 receptions for 809 yards and nine touchdowns (69.1 percent catch rate, 10.0 yards per target). Prolific fantasy effort in win
Kupp brought in nine of 12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' 38-11 win over the Giants on Sunday.
Analysis: Kupp easily paced the Rams' pass catchers across the board with his prolific effort, which included touchdown grabs of three and 13 yards in the second and fourth quarters, respectively. He hadn't scored since Week 3 against the Buccaneers, a relatively brief but rare slump for him, and he's now recorded at least seven receptions in five of the first six games of the season while seeing double-digit targets in every contest. Boosts yardage back up in win
Kupp brought in seven of 10 targets for 92 yards in the Rams' 26-17 win over the Seahawks on Thursday night. He also returned one kickoff for 12 yards.
Analysis: Position mate Robert Woods stole the headlines with his 12-150 line on 14 targets, but Kupp was an excellent complementary option for Matthew Stafford on the night. The fifth-year wideout's yardage total was second behind Woods for the Rams in the game and represented a nice boost from the season-low 64 that Kupp compiled in the Week 4 loss to the Cardinals. Can't do much with big volume
Kupp caught five of 13 targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Rams.
Analysis: The Cards' secondary made a point of making sure the fifth-year receiver wasn't going to beat them, and as a result Van Jefferson led Los Angeles in catches and receiving yards despite seeing less than half the targets Kupp did. Despite the lackluster numbers Sunday, Kupp still has an impressive 30 catches for 431 yards and five TDs through four games, and he'll look to get back on track in Week 5 on the road against the Seahawks.

Kupp recorded nine receptions on 12 targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Kupp continued his exceptional start to the season. He now has five receiving touchdowns in three games, with his pair Sunday coming from two and 10 yards away, respectively. Kupp also provided a few big plays, recording receptions of 22, 20 and 17 yards. Analysis: On the heels of a 7-108-1 line in the season-opening win over the Bears, Kupp outdid himself in only his second regular-season game working as one of Matthew Stafford's targets. The two have clearly built significant chemistry very quickly, and Kupp's game-high reception, receiving yardage and target totals Sunday included touchdown grabs of 16 and 10 yards in the first and fourth quarters, respectively. Receiving leader on SNF
Kupp hauled in seven receptions (10 targets) for 108 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Bears.
Analysis: Kupp dominated the targets with new quarterback Matthew Stafford under center, finishing with four more than the next highest receiving option (Tyler Higbee). The 28-year-old had a great rapport with Jared Goff in their four seasons together, so fantasy managers have to be pleased with the seamless transition to a new signal caller. Kupp (knee) is considered a "true game-time decision" for Saturday's divisional-round playoff game in Green Bay, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Schefter notes that Kupp, who didn't practice this past week, is dealing with bursitis in his knee and a call on the receiver's status for the contest isn't expected to be made until pre-game warmups in advance of Saturday's 4:35 ET kickoff. Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp is "progressing" through bursitis in his knee, and while the wide receiver may not practice this week, there's a good chance he's "ready" for Saturday's divisional-round game in Green Bay, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp picked up the injury in Saturday's wild-card round win at Seattle and hasn't stepped foot on the field this week. McVay implied that Kupp may not have to practice in order to suit up Saturday, but he still has one more chance to get some work in before the Rams give him a designation for the game.

Kupp (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp has yet to practice this week while he recovers from knee bursitis, which he sustained during the Rams' wild-card win at Seattle last weekend. There's an expectation from the team that he'll be able to suit up for Saturday's divisional-round game in Green Bay, but he may have to do so without any practice reps. Kupp (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated injury report.
Analysis: Kupp limped off the field in the fourth quarter of this past Saturday's wild-card win at Seattle and didn't return. Initially, he was believed to have suffered a bone bruise in his knee, but coach Sean McVay clarified the injury Sunday, calling it bursitis, per Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site. McVay expects Kupp to suit up for Saturday's divisional-round game in Green Bay, but he likely will want to see the wide receiver on the field in some capacity before week's end.

Kupp is expected to be fine after suffering a knee contusion during Saturday's wild-card win over the Seahawks, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: It was initially believed to be a non-contact injury, so this is a relief for the Rams as they prepare for the NFC divisional round. Analysis: Kupp was forced to miss the Rams' regular-season finale against the Cardinals after testing positive for COVID-19, but he'll be available for Saturday's wild-card game in Seattle. The Rams are still working out who will be throwing passes to Kupp and the team's other receivers in the playoff opener, as Jared Goff (thumb) hasn't been fully cleared following his recent surgery. Unlikely to play Week 17
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Kupp (illness) is "probably not likely to be available" Week 17 against the Cardinals, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: The Rams placed Kupp on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network revealed Wednesday that the move was made because the wide receiver tested positive for the virus. League protocols ensure Kupp won't be able to recover in time for a key Week 17 matchup, one that will help in determining the team's postseason fate. Kupp, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, won't be available for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Analysis: It's been an up-and-down campaign for Kupp. He's failed to top 50 receiving yards in three of the past four games and also only gone over the century mark three times all year. Additionally, after 10 touchdown receptions last season, the fourth-year wideout has only three scores in 2020. Makes two catches vs. 49ers

Analysis: Kupp was held in check for most of the game and did little outside of shaking loose for a 33-yard gain in the third quarter. He gashed the talented Buccaneers defense for a season-high 145 yards in his prior outing, so his inability to make a notable impact in this one was likely a bit of a surprise for many fantasy managers. Kupp brought in 11 of 21 targets for 110 yards in the Rams' 28-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Kupp's absurdly high target count was the direct result of a game script that saw the Rams surprisingly down by multiple touchdowns before halftime. The fourth-year wideout's catch and yardage tallies were also both game- and season-high figures, though Kupp's touchdown-less streak extended to four contests. Although he also got involved in the running game Monday, Kupp has now totaled just 54 receiving yards in his last two games. The fourth-year pro has seen between six and 10 targets in the last four games, and although Sunday saw his two-game streak with a touchdown snapped, Kupp did garner at least five receptions for the fourth consecutive contest. He'll look to get back over the century mark for the second time on the campaign at the expense of the division-rival 49ers in a Week 6 Sunday night matchup.

Leading Rams receiver in win
Kupp caught five of seven targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
Analysis: Most of that production came on a 55-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter as Kupp split the Giants' secondary for the final score of the day, and Jared Goff's only completion of longer than 20 yards. Kupp has found the end zone in consecutive games, and he'll look to continue that streak in Week 5 against a Washington defense that just had trouble containing Marquise Brown.

Plays well in high-scoring loss
Kupp caught nine of 10 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-32 loss to Buffalo.
Analysis: Kupp caught a 16-yard touchdown during Los Angeles' run of 29 unanswered points after falling behind 28-3. Unfortunately for the Rams, Buffalo responded with a game-winning touchdown drive aided by a controversial pass interference penalty to hand Los Angeles its first loss of the season. The slot receiver has totaled triple-digit scrimmage yards in consecutive games, and Kupp will have a great opportunity to stretch that streak to three in Week 4 against the Giants.

Goes for 100 yards in win
Kupp brought in five of six targets for 81 yards, adding two carries for 19 yards in the Rams' 37-19 win over the Eagles on Sunday.
Analysis: Kupp improved on his 40-yard performance from Week 1, going for 100 total yards and leading the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards in the process. He still hasn't found the end zone in 2020, but Kupp should continue to see a healthy amount of targets moving forward as one of the top options in the Rams' passing attack. His upside may be diminished compared to 2019, as Jared Goff is on pace for far fewer than the 626 passes he attempted a year ago.

Quiet 2020 debut
Kupp had four catches (five targets) for 40 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Cowboys.
Analysis: Fresh off of a three-year, $48 million extension, Kupp was unable to produce numbers indicative of his huge bump in salary. The 27-year-old's lack of production was due in large part to a run-heavy game plan (40 carries to just 20 pass attempts) that focused on attacking the soft interior of Dallas defense. The strategy paid off for the Rams, but Kupp owners in fantasy were left with a lackluster final line. There's no reason to overreact, as Kupp remains one of Jared Goff's top receiving…read more

Locks in $48 million extension
Kupp signed a three-year, $48 million extension with the Rams on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Kupp made significant movement on a possible contract extension earlier this week after the team had finalized a deal with cornerback Jalen Ramsey. The 27-year-old becomes the first of a deep 2017 wide receiver class to receive an extension with Saturday's news likely setting the mark for players such as Chris Godwin, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kenny Golladay and their respective upcoming deals.

Back at practice
Kupp (leg) returned to practice Thursday, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Coach Sean Mcvay said Kupp "was full speed" at Thursday's practice session, and he also clarified that Kupp's leg issue was related to soreness. The 27-year-old looks on track for Sept. 13's season-opener against the Cowboys, provided he can avoid any setbacks.

Should be fine for Week 1
Kupp is dealing with a "muscle strain on the side of the lower part of his leg right above the foot," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: There was previous speculation that Kupp had an ankle sprain, but that report was refuted by coach Sean McVay, who relayed that the wideout had some soreness in his leg. Rapoport's report adds a bit of context to that, but more importantly notes that Kupp should be fine for the Rams' season opener.

Tending to sore ankle
Coach Sean McVay said Kupp doesn't have an ankle sprain but instead is dealing with pre-existing ankle soreness, Eric D. Williams of SI.com reports.
Analysis: After Kupp left Saturday's practice with an injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the issue was a low-ankle sprain. Kupp underwent the requisite testing, including X-rays, and a sprain has been ruled out as the issue. While he may be held of practice in the short term, there doesn't seem to be much worry about his status for Week 1 versus the Cowboys.

Sprains ankle
Kupp is dealing with a low-ankle sprain but isn't believed to be in any danger of missing Week 1, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: There was speculation of a problem after Kupp was removed from Saturday's scrimmage, but coach Sean McVay claims the wide receiver wasn't injured. It turns out Kupp did indeed suffer an injury, just not an especially serious one. The initial report suggests he'll miss some practice time during the upcoming week before returning for Week 1 against the Cowboys.

Coach says he's healthy
Updating a previous report, Kupp's early exit from Saturday's practice was precautionary and he's not dealing with any injuries, per coach Sean McVay, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kupp fans can exhale after some nervous moments, as the coach's post-practice press conference revealed that the slot receiver is healthy. Prior to exiting the practice, Kupp had been serving as the holder for the kicking competition, so the coaching staff likely decided to give him the day off rather than put him at any risk in the unfamiliar role.

Leaves practice early
Kupp (undisclsoed) left Saturday's practice in the first half and was not on the sidelines with his teammates to start the second half, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: It's unclear what forced Kupp to exit, but hopefully his absence is just for precautionary reasons. Prior to leaving Saturday, Kupp had been serving as the holder for the Rams' kicking competition, as punter Johnny Hekker is away from the team for the birth of his second child.

Entering final year of rookie deal
Kupp is entering the final season of his rookie contract and is looking to sign a long-term extension with the Rams, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN reports.
Analysis: While there was a degree of inconsistency from Kupp at midseason last year, he finished the campaign with a touchdown in each of the past five games to boost his stat line to an impressive 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and 10 scores. Already a go-to option in the Los Angeles passing attack, the fourth-year receiver has the potential to be even more involved in the offense with Brandin Cooks now in Houston. Not only is the thorough chemistry between Kupp and quarterback Jared Goff an added…read more

Scores TD for fifth straight game
Kupp corralled seven of 10 targets for 99 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-24 win against Arizona.
Analysis: Those who stuck with Kupp through a third-quarter slump benefited during the fantasy postseason, as the 26-year-old wideout scored in five consecutive games Weeks 13 through 17 after averaging three catches for 29 yards per game with zero TDs between Weeks 10 and 12. The third-year man out of Eastern Washington rebounded spectacularly from a torn ACL that cost him half of the 2018 campaign, obliterating previous personal bests by compiling 94 receptions for 1,161 yards while also reaching the…read more

Salvages line with touchdown
Kupp secured all four targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 34-31 loss to the 49ers on Saturday.
Analysis: Kupp ultimately generated his third straight sub-50-yard effort, but his 22-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter on a perfectly executed crossing pattern marked his fourth straight game with a receiving score. The 26-year-old's target share has uncharacteristically dwindled over the last four games, with Kupp averaging a modest five looks per contest in that span. However, he'll look to close out his career-best campaign on a strong note versus the vulnerable Cardinals secondary Week 17.

Grabs late TD in loss
Kupp caught all six of his targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-21 loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: The receiver salvaged his fantasy line with a fourth-quarter score after the game was far out of reach. Kupp has now hit pay dirt in three straight games, snagging all 16 of his targets for 151 yards over that stretch, and he'll try to continue his late-season surge next Saturday on the road against the 49ers.

Scores despite low usage
Kupp had four catches (four targets) for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-12 win over the Seahawks. He also threw an incomplete pass on a trick play.
Analysis: Kupp saw his targets drop to four after watching them go from 10 to six a week ago. The Rams stated that they are going to return to featuring star running back Todd Gurley in order to save their season down the stretch, which could explain the recent dip in Kupp's offensive looks. The 26-year-old remains Jared Goff's favorite option, especially in the red zone -- Kupp had two more red-zone targets Sunday -- which keeps his value afloat even in contests in which he doesn't see double-digit…read more

Finds end zone
Kupp hauled in all six of his targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 13 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Kupp was out-targeted by both Robert Woods and Tyler Higbee, but he managed a strong performance due to his efficiency. His performance was highlighted by a 10-yard touchdown, which forced him to tightrope on the sideline to get both feet inbounds. It was a bounce-back performance for Kupp, who had failed to top 55 yards or find the end zone in each of his last three contests. Kupp will take on the Seahawks in Week 14 and look to replicate his Week 5 performance, when he recorded nine…read more

Bottled up despite 10 targets
Kupp caught six of 10 targets for 35 yards in Monday night's 45-6 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Kupp led the Rams in looks from quarterback Jared Goff, but found next to no room to operate. To make matters worse, his final target bounced off his hands for a Baltimore interception. After a 220-yard outburst in Week 8, Kupp has combined for just 88 yards in three games since, putting him in a serious slump ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals.

Just three targets Sunday
Kupp (illness) corralled all three of his targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 17-7 win over the Bears.
Analysis: Kupp was dealing with a stomach bug all week, but it wasn't enough to keep the wideout from suiting up in an important primetime contest. The Rams leaned heavily on Todd Gurley and its rushing attack in order to slow down the Bears' vaunted pass rush, which caused Jared Goff and company to finish with poor fantasy numbers all around. Kupp produced well considering he only received a season-low three targets, but that is now two consecutive fantasy clunkers (zero catches last week) coming off…read more

Free of injury designation
Kupp (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Analysis: Kupp missed Friday's practice with a stomach bug, but he apparently isn't in any danger of missing the game. He'll face a tough Chicago defense after last week's zero-catch debacle in Pittsburgh.

Dealing with stomach bug
Kupp missed Friday's practice due to a stomach illness, but he's expected to be fine for Sunday's game against Chicago, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: It's unclear if the Rams view the ailment as enough of a concern to list Kupp as questionable on their final injury report. The wide receiver is looking to bounce back from last week's goose egg against the Steelers, but he'll be tasked with trying to get open against another tough defense Sunday night.

Shut down by Steelers
Kupp failed to catch any of his four targets in Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Jared Goff didn't have much success overall, but seeing Kupp get completely shut out is a shocker, especially with the Rams shifting to short, quick passes in the second half after center Brian Allen (knee) exited the game. It's only the second time in his career Kupp has gone without a catch, but he'll look to rebound next week against the Bears.
