The Texans waived Jackson on Tuesday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis: Jackson joined the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota earlier this year. He appeared in all three preseason games and produced a 2-16-1 receiving line.
