Remaining in Baltimore
Wade signed a reserve/future contract with the Ravens on Tuesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Analysis: Wade signed with Baltimore in late April as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss. He wasn't able to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he performed well enough to earn a spot on the Ravens' practice squad. Paces pass catchers Friday
Wade caught four of five targets for 27 yards in the Ravens' preseason loss to the Eagles on Friday.
Analysis: The undrafted rookie out of Mississippi saw plenty of action Friday as he led the team in targets, receptions and yards. Wade (5-foot-9, 175 pounds) was an important part of Ole Miss' passing game in 2023, as he averaged 10.1 yards per target over 6.3 targets per game. Still, Wade will need to stack these types of performances while contributing on special teams to keep his 53-man roster hopes alive. That said, Friday's outing puts him on the radar heading into the second preseason game against…read more
