Set for NFL debut
Walker is active for Monday's contest against the Buccaneers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Walker will be active for the first time this season after the Ravens selected him in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The wide receiver will operate as a depth option behind the likes of Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor versus Tampa Bay.

Inactive for Week 5
Walker (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Analysis: Walker is a rookie fourth-round pick, but he's yet to make his NFL regular-season debut. Deonte Harty (knee) is also inactive, so Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor and Tylan Wallace are the Ravens' only active wideouts versus Cincinnati.

Grabs one ball Saturday
Walker (ribs) had one reception for five yards on two targets in Saturday's preseason finale.
Analysis: Walker returned from a minor rib injury that nagged the rookie wideout this preseason. The fourth-round pick out of North Carolina remains in pole position to nab one of the backup spots behind Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor come Week 1. Walker will struggle to put up consistent fantasy numbers in that role out of the gates, but he has the size (6-foot-1, 191 pounds) plus a 4.36 40-yard time that are worth noting should playing time open up in the future.

Back at practice
Walker (ribs) participated in practice Tuesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Analysis: Walker, who has been managing a rib issue, didn't practice Monday, but the 2024 fourth-rounder's return to the field a day later bodes well for his chances of seeing action in Saturday's preseason finale against the Packers. As the regular season approaches, Walker is looking to carve out a steady role as a rookie in a WR corps that also includes veterans Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor.

Bothered by ribs
Coach John Harbaugh said Walker's lack of playing time in a preseason win over Atlanta on Saturday was related to a rib injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The rookie fourth-round pick has only one target and no receptions through two preseason games and doesn't seem to have gotten any snaps before halftime. This perhaps mitigates concern about Walker's progress, but it does seem he's headed for a lower spot on the depth chart to start the season, likely behind Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor at the very least.

Quiet again
Walker wasn't targeted in Saturday's preseason game against Atlanta.
Analysis: Bo Smolka of PressBox notes that Walker appeared to play only a few snaps on offense, with Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reporting that the rookie got work covering a kickoff before appearing on offense. It's not looking good for an early-season role, as Walker was also nearly absent in Baltimore's preseason opener, finishing without a catch on a single late-game target. The fourth-round pick at least figures to have a roster spot, and the depth chart ahead of him is shaky beyond Zay Flowers.

Just one target in preseason opener
Walker failed to bring in his only target in Friday's 16-13 preseason loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: The Ravens sat out most of their top offensive personnel, including quarterback Lamar Jackson and wideouts Zay Flowers, Nelson Agholor and Rashod Bateman (undisclosed), but Walker still didn't see his only target until the third quarter and couldn't connect with No. 3 QB Devin Leary on the pass. Walker, a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, will look for a chance to make a bigger impact in a Saturday, Aug. 17 exhibition against the Falcons, but his usage in the Ravens' preseason opener…read more
