Posts PPR gem Monday
Moore hauled in all eight of his targets for 46 yards while adding three rushing attempts for 24 yards in Monday's 30-12 loss to Minnesota.
Analysis: Moore led the Bears in receptions despite seeing five fewer targets than fellow wideout Keenan Allen. The latter produced the better fantasy score after reeling in his fourth touchdown in as many weeks, but Moore provided an especially strong line for those in PPR formats. Expect both of Chicago's top receivers to be busy in Week 16 with a tough matchup on tap against the Lions on Sunday.

Leading receiver on six receptions
Moore (quadriceps) finished with six receptions on eight targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 38-13 loss to San Francisco.
Analysis: Moore overcame a quadriceps injury to suit up Sunday and led the Bears in all receiving categories except scoring. That honor went to rookie wideout Rome Odunze, who cashed in both of Caleb Williams' late touchdown strikes in the lopsided loss. Moore's production paled in comparison to his previous two contests in which he racked up 15 receptions for 203 yards and two scores. The durable receiver should remain a focal point of Chicago's passing attack when the team visits Minnesota next Monday.

Playing in Week 14
Moore (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game in San Francisco.
Analysis: Moore was contained to just one limited practice (Friday) during Week 14 prep, but he relayed to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com afterward, "I play through everything." Indeed, Moore will be available to the Bears' offense for the 13th time in as many contests this season, and he's coming off his most productive two-game stretch of the season (15-203-2 line on 23 targets) from Weeks 12 and 13.

Looks likely to play Week 14
Moore (quadriceps), who is questionable for Sunday's matchup versus San Francisco, is expected to suit up, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Schefter's report seems to confirm Moore's own words Friday, when the receiver suggested he would be able to take the field against the 49ers. Moore last missed a game in 2020, so he's proven capable of pushing through the wears and tears of the NFL season. If Moore is indeed able to play Sunday, he'll try to build upon a pair of consecutive big performances, as he totaled 15 catches for 203 yards and two touchdowns over the past two weeks.

Optimistic he'll play
Moore (quadriceps) is optimistic he'll play against the 49ers on Sunday, after being listed as questionable on the final injury report, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: "I play through everything," Moore said Friday, suggesting he expects to play despite managing just one limited practice at the end of the week. He's missed two games in seven NFL seasons, with a concussion holding him out for the 2019 finale and then COVID keeping him out Week 14 of 2020. Moore has played through his fair share of minor injuries, but he's also had better luck than most at simply avoiding them in the first place. In any case, it sounds like his odds are better than 50/50 to…read more

Questionable for Week 14
Moore (quadriceps) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore logged a limited practice Friday, but it appears his quad injury has a legitimate chance of impacting his availability for Week 14. The standout receiver's status will be made official no later than 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. RB D'Andre Swift (quadriceps) also is listed as questionable for Sunday's road matchup, though on a bright note for Chicago, Keenan Allen (ankle) does not carry an injury designation after returning to practice as a full participant Thursday.

Sidelined for another practice
Moore (quadricep) didn't practice Thursday.
Analysis: While Keenan Allen (ankle) returned to practice Thursday as a full participant after sitting out Wednesday, Moore remained a spectator for the second straight day. In order to avoid taking a designation into Sunday's game at San Francisco, Moore will likely need to practice in at least a limited fashion Friday. If Moore can't shake off the quad injury ahead of Sunday's contest, Allen and fellow wideouts Rome Odunze and tight end Cole Kmet would represent the top pass-catching options for…read more

Misses practice Wednesday
Moore did not practice Wednesday due to a quadricep injury.
Analysis: Moore presumably picked up the quad injury at some point during the Bears' 23-20 loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving Day, though he didn't appear to be laboring at any point during the contest on his way to finishing with a 8-97-1 receiving line on 16 targets. Keenan Allen (ankle) was also sidelined at practice Wednesday, and while it's possible the Bears are simply taking a cautious approach with the health of their top two wideouts, both players' statuses will need to be monitored ahead of…read more

Resurgence continues Thursday
Moore caught eight passes for 97 yards and one touchdown on 16 targets against Detroit in Thursday's 23-20 loss to the Lions.
Analysis: There were some missed opportunities and overall it wasn't an efficient day for Moore on a per-target basis, but the target volume and resulting production still made it a good day for Moore's fantasy investors. That the Bears managed to lose in such memorable and embarrassing fashion might provoke further shakeups in the Chicago coaching staff, but the last two weeks have otherwise been encouraging for Moore. The Bears face San Francisco on the road in Week 14.

Perfect effort in OT loss
Moore recorded seven receptions on seven targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Vikings. He added one rush for 13 yards.
Analysis: Moore showed the ability to connect with Caleb Williams in all areas of the field in the loss, as he had long gains of 37 and 27 yards, the latter of which set up a game-tying field goal to send the game to overtime. He also worked effectively in the short areas of the field, including on a 10-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter -- his first trip to the end zone since Week 5. While it's been a disappointing season for Moore, he has 14 receptions on 14 targets for 168 yards…read more

Team-high catch total in loss
Moore secured all seven targets for 62 yards and rushed once for five yards in the Bears' 20-19 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore led the Bears in receptions while checking in second in receiving yards in Chicago's first game under interim offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. The veteran wideout's catch total was his highest since Week 3, while his yardage tally was his best over the last five games. Given Moore hadn't cleared 33 receiving yards in the last four contests under former offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, there's reason for optimism heading into a Week 12 home clash against an inconsistent Vikings…read more

Quiet in Sunday's loss
Moore caught three of six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 19-3 loss to the Patriots. He added three rushing yards on his lone carry.
Analysis: Caleb Williams was sacked nine times on the day and had no time in the pocket behind an injury-ravaged offensive line, and as a result Moore's production suffered once again. Over the last four games, the star wideout has managed just a 13-104-0 line on 24 targets. Unless the offensive line gets healthier, Moore and the rest of the Bears' skill players will be tough to trust heading into a Week 11 rivalry game against the Packers.

Struggles continue
Moore recorded four receptions on nine targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 29-9 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: Moore saw his highest target total since Week 3, but he continued to struggle to get on the same page with Caleb Williams. He managed a 16-yard gain to help set up a field goal just before halftime but otherwise failed to make much of an impact on the game. Moore now has under 40 receiving yards in five of eight contests on the campaign.

Another poor perfromance
Moore caught two passes on four targets for 27 yards in the Bears' 18-15 loss to the Commanders on Sunday. He also rushed twice for seven yards.
Analysis: Moore struggled in a game in which Caleb Williams completed just 10 passes. However, the receiver has been held to 27 or fewer receiving yards in three of the last four games. The pass catcher has one game this season with double-digit PPR points, and Moore is on pace for one of the worst seasons of his career.

Low yardage in victory
Moore caught four passes for 20 yards in the Bears' 35-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday in London.
Analysis: Moore was tackled just short of the goal line on a play that could have salvaged his fantasy day. With the Bears dominating the Jaguars, there was little need to force passes to Moore, so the receiver saw a season-low five targets. On the season, Moore has at least eight targets on four occasions, so he'll usually be a high-floor fantasy option with big-game potential.

Analysis: Moore got the Bears on the board with a 34-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter and added a 30-yard touchdown reception late in the first half. He set a season high in receiving yards and is the clear top option in a Bears receiving corps that also includes Keenan Allen and rookie first-round pick Rome Odunze, who combined for 73 yards on 12 targets in Sunday's win. First TD with Williams
Moore secured three of six targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 24-18 win over the Rams on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore tied with Cole Kmet for second on the team in receptions and was the runner-up in targets as well. However, on what was otherwise a pedestrian afternoon, Moore had a hand in a notable moment when he secured a nine-yard touchdown grab late in the third quarter from Caleb Williams, his first in conjunction with the rookie first overall pick. Eight grabs in Sunday's loss
Moore caught eight of 10 targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 21-16 loss to the Colts.
Analysis: The veteran wideout actually finished third on the Bears in both receiving yards and targets behind Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet, as Caleb Williams erupted for 363 passing yards. More than half of Moore's production came on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half, when he caught a tipped ball at the one-yard line but couldn't get into the end zone. Leads team in receiving on SNF
Moore finished with six receptions on 10 targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to Houston.
Analysis: Moore continues to be rookie quarterback Caleb Williams' favorite target through two games this season. The volume has helped offset the star wideout's lack of touchdowns as the Bears continue to search for a passing score through eight quarters of action. Moore's production should rise alongside improved play from his rookie signal-caller as Chicago prepares to travel to Indianapolis in Week 3.

Shows rapport with Williams
Moore recorded five receptions on eight targets for 36 tards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.
Analysis: Moore didn't have a particularly strong stat line, but he showed the best rapport with Caleb Williams of the Bears' pass catchers. He caught each of Williams' three longest completions, which went for gains of 13, 12 and 11 yards. While it was a disappointing start to the season for Chicago's offense, better production can be expected in future weeks, and Moore looks to still be the centerpiece of the wide-receiver unit after his excellent 2023 campaign.

Coach Matt Eberflus said Tuesday that the majority of Chicago's starters, likely including Moore, will sit for Thursday's preseason finale against Kansas City, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Eberflus specified that quarterback Caleb Williams won't play Thursday, and it seems all but assured that Moore will be included in the group of players held out until the regular-season opener against Tennessee. Catches pair of Williams passes
Moore caught two of three targets for 27 yards in Saturday's 33-6 preseason win over the Bills.
Analysis: Moore was the only wide receiver to record a catch while rookie quarterback Caleb Williams was in the game, as Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze combined for only one target. Those offseason additions could cut into Moore's volume after Moore led the team with 136 targets last season, but Chicago's entire passing game has a much higher ceiling with Williams under center than it did with Justin Fields last season. Analysis: After spending his first five seasons in Carolina, Moore produced career highs across the board with the Bears in 2023, including 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns on 96 receptions. The Chicago offense will look drastically different this year, as Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze join the receiving room and 2024 first overall pick Caleb Williams takes over as the starting QB. Moore worked out in April with Bears QB Caleb Williams and fellow Bears WRs Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The workouts took place shortly before the draft, at which point Williams was all but locked in as the No. 1 overall pick for Chicago (and Odunze considered a strong candidate to join him at No. 9). The Bears ended up with both, completing their offseason makeover on offense after trading for Allen and signing RB D'Andre Swift and TE Gerald Everett. Leading receiver in loss
Moore caught four of eight targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Browns.
Analysis: Tight end Cole Kmet wound up pacing the Bears in receptions, but Moore was the team leader in targets and yards. It was still his worst output since Week 9, but a minor ankle injury that limited him during practice leading up to Sunday's contest could help explain the modest numbers. Both players had their moments, with the end result being a solid receiving line for Chicago's young star. Eight catches in win over Vegas
Moore caught eight of nine targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 30-12 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: With undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent under center in place of Justin Fields (thumb), the Bears' passing game was limited to short, safe tosses, but Moore was still the team's top option through the air. The former Panther has exactly eight catches in three of the last four games, amassing a 29-466-4 line on 36 targets over that stretch, but if Fields isn't able to return in Week 8 against the Chargers, Moore will likely be more of a floor than a ceiling play.

Modest output in loss
Moore brought in five of eight targets for 51 yards in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore did lead the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, but his numbers were a far cry from his standout 8-230-3 line against the Commanders in a Thursday night Week 5 win. Moore's output was naturally affected by Justin Fields' early exit from the game with a hand injury and undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent replacing him. Explodes for career-best showing
Moore brought in eight of 10 targets for 230 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
Analysis: The prized offseason acquisition was coming off his most productive game in a Bears uniform yet in Week 4 against the Broncos, when he'd posted an 8-131-1 line. Moore managed to outdo himself by a wide margin on the same number of catches Thursday, hauling in touchdown grabs of 20, 11 and 56 yards, with the last two coming in contested situations. Best game of season Sunday
Moore secured eight of nine targets for 131 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore comfortably set the pace for the Bears in receiving yards while tying with Cole Kmet for the lead in targets as well. The veteran wideout's touchdown grab was a thing of beauty along the right sideline in the end zone in the first quarter from 29 yards, and all of his receptions, receiving yardage and target totals were his best of the season. Moore will certainly be a primary beneficiary if Justin Fields can continue to perform as he did for most of Sunday's four-touchdown effort, and…read more

Scores TD in garbage time
Moore had three receptions on six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-10 loss to Kansas City.
Analysis: Moore cashed in his first touchdown with the Bears on the team's final offensive drive of an ugly loss Sunday. Garbage-time scores count all the same in fantasy, giving the wideout his second consecutive quality line after going for 104 yards last week. He did leave a chunk of yards on the table on a deep pass attempt from Justin Fields that was dropped by the normally sure-handed receiver. Eclipses century mark in loss
Moore brought in six of seven targets for 104 yards in the Bears' 27-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore comfortably led the Bears in receiving yardage while also setting the pace in receptions. The veteran's performance following a quiet debut in the Week 1 loss to the Packers was along the lines of what was expected after a strong body of work during OTAs, training camp and the preseason, and Moore will undoubtedly be called upon plenty as the Bears look to keep up with the Chiefs in a Week 3 road matchup.

Quiet Bears debut
Moore finished with two catches on two targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Moore was held in check in his Bears debut, with five teammates garnering more looks than him in the passing game. To his credit, Moore hauled in the only pair of throws his way, but he nonetheless failed to make a meaningful impact in his first game with quarterback Justin Fields. Chicago's top offseason addition will strive to make a bigger splash in Week 2 while facing a Tampa Bay secondary he knows well from his time in Carolina.

Makes another big play
Moore caught one of two targets for 40 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Buffalo.
Analysis: Moore had his second long catch-and-run of the preseason, following a 62-yard TD on a screen pass a couple weeks prior. QB Justin Fields also has familiar teammates WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet as receiving weapons, but there's no doubt about Moore being the top option heading into a tricky Week 1 matchup with a Green Bay defense that has the option of using CB Jaire Alexander (groin/foot) in shadow coverage.

Scores in Chicago preseason debut
Moore caught his only target for a 62-yard touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against Tennessee.
Analysis: Moore was an after-the-catch monster both at Carolina in the NFL and at Maryland in college, so the skills he demonstrated on his 62-yard screen pass touchdown were nothing new. It certainly is something new for the Chicago offense, however, and provides a direct example of how the Bears offense could be significantly improved in 2023. Plays like that are a reminder of why Moore will likely be Chicago's lead target in 2023, and with considerable distance between himself and whichever…read more

Chemistry with Fields improving
Bears QB Justin Fields said Thursday that his chemistry with Moore has "come on quickly" in recent weeks, ESPN's Courtney Cronin reports.
Analysis: Moore called the connection "a work in progress" at the start of OTAs in May, two months after the Bears traded for him as part of a deal that sent Carolina the No. 1 overall pick. It sounds like he and Fields have made progress this spring, with the QB mentioning Thursday that he's been impressed by Moore's ability to recognize different coverages. Bound for Chicago
The Bears agreed Friday to acquire Moore and four draft picks from the Panthers in exchange for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Along with Moore, the Bears will receive the Nos. 9 and 61 overall picks in this year's draft, a 2024 first-round pick and a 2025 second-round selection. Moore, who caught 63 passes for 888 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games for the Panthers in 2022, should serve as Chicago's top wideout this coming season, while Carolina is now in position to take a quarterback first overall next month.

Quiet in finale
Moore caught one of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Saints.
Analysis: Moore closed with another underwhelming output due to Carolina's poor quarterback play, as Sam Darnold completed merely five passes for 43 yards while throwing a pair of picks. After three straight 1,000-yard campaigns, Moore finishes this season with just 888 yards in 17 games. The fourth-year pro's 24-yard scoring grab midway through the second quarter gave Carolina a 14-0 lead at the time and pushed his career-high tally to seven, while the 100-yard effort was his fourth of the campaign. Analysis: Moore led the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets during the momentous win, making his biggest impact with a five-yard touchdown grab early in the third quarter that was immediately preceded by his 47-yard grab. Moore now has back-to-back five-grab, one-touchdown efforts and should once again play a pivotal role in a critical Week 17 road battle versus the Buccaneers on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Analysis: Moore reportedly suffered a minor knee sprain during Sunday's loss to Seattle, and he finished the game without a catch despite playing 96 percent of snaps on offense. Gets positive news
Moore (ankle) is considered day-to-day with a knee sprain, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Moore didn't catch any of his three targets during Sunday's loss to Seattle and underwent an MRI on Monday to look at a potential ankle injury. However, Schefter has reported that the wideout is now considered day-to-day with a knee issue and relayed that his source said the injury is "nothing significant." This appears to be great news, but Moore's participation during Wednesday's practice may provide some clarity on his status for a Week 15 matchup with the Steelers.

Needs MRI on ankle
Moore is undergoing an MRI on Monday to address an ankle injury he sustained late in Sunday's win over the Seahawks, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore was held without a catch, a disappointing fantasy performance even before he was forced off the field near the end of the contest. Monday's test results should provide some clarity on Moore's chances of suiting up Week 15 against the Steelers. Terrace Marshall, Laviska Shenault and Shi Smith would have to step up for Carolina if Moore is forced to miss any time.

Moore didn't catch any of his three targets and rushed twice for just six yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: Moore was a non-factor as quarterback Sam Darnold managed just 120 passing yards. While the team tried incorporating Moore by giving him two of its 46 total rushing attempts, the wideout gained minimal yardage. Although Carolina's victory should help Moore reconcile with Sunday's dud individual outing, he'll no doubt be eager for a vastly improved performance in Week 15 versus Pittsburgh.

Analysis: Moore's disappointing day extended an unfavorable streak of sub-30-yard games to three. Analysis: After a couple of encouraging performances with PJ Walker under center, Moore was quiet in Carolina's blowout loss. Analysis: The fifth-year receiver continues to show little chemistry with Baker Mayfield (ankle), as his modest receiving yardage actually represented his best performance of the season, and he's hauled in fewer than half his targets on the year. With Mayfield leaving Sunday's loss late, however, Moore might actually be looking forward to the possibility of having P.J. Analysis: He led Carolina in targets on the day, but Moore wasn't able to do much with his looks, and Christian McCaffrey wound up leading the team in catches and receiving yards. Moore's 50 yards were actually a season high for him, as Baker Mayfield's struggles so far have impacted the wideout's numbers drastically through the first month of the year. Moore (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Moore was listed as questionable heading into the weekend after not practicing Wednesday and Thursday before returning to the field in a limited fashion Friday. Though he didn't log a full practice this week, the Panthers haven't indicated that Moore will be subject to a lighter workload as a result. He'll likely be sharing the field with both Cam Newton and Sam Darnold at various points during Sunday's game, as head coach Matt Rhule indicated that both quarterbacks will pick up snaps.

Expected to play in Week 16
Moore (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Moore was listed as questionable for the contest after returning to a limited practice Friday, but Rapoport indicates that the wideout is trending toward active status versus Tampa Bay. Fortunately for those considering Moore in Week 16 lineups, the Panthers kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.

Gets questionable tag for Week 16
Moore (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after practicing on a limited basis Friday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore missed the Panthers' first two practices of the week while tending to the hamstring injury, but he returned to the field Friday, which gives him a shot to suit up this weekend. On Wednesday, head coach Matt Rhule told Joe Person of The Athletic that Moore will likely wind up being a game-time decision, so the Panthers may put him through a workout Sunday morning before getting a better sense of whether he'll play. No practice Thursday
Moore (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore was able to play through a hamstring issue this past Sunday in Buffalo, handling a 90 percent share of offensive snaps and catching six of 11 targets for 48 yards. The Panthers now are having the wide receiver focus on rehab versus practice with the expectation he'll be a game-time decision Sunday against the Buccaneers. Fortunately, the team has a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, so Moore's fate will be known with plenty of time for fantasy managers to pivot to another option.

Trending toward game-time decision
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said Moore (hamstring) likely will be a game-time call for Sunday's tilt with the Buccaneers, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore's practice reps were capped all of last week before he handled 90 percent of the offensive snaps this past Sunday at Buffalo en route to six catches (on 11 targets) for 48 yards. He was held out of practice entirely Wednesday, after which Rhule touched on Moore's status. Getting back on the field Thursday and/or Friday may put Moore in a better position to be available this weekend, so his activity level will be something to monitor as the week goes on.

Still tending to hamstring issue
Moore didn't practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore was listed as a limited participant on all three Week 15 practice reports due to the same health concern before handling a 90 percent share of the offensive snaps this past Sunday at Buffalo. The results in the box score were modest -- six catches (on 11 targets) for 48 yards -- and he's only scored one touchdown since Week 4. Now, with no practice activity to begin Week 16 prep, Moore's status will be one to watch to ensure he's available this weekend against the Buccaneers.

Difficult conditions continue
Moore caught six passes for 48 yards on 11 targets against Buffalo on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore has proven his own abilities beyond any doubt at this point, so his ongoing struggles are clearly attributable to the broader dysfunction of the Panthers organization, especially on offense. Cam Newton has struggled profoundly as a passer, including in this game (18 of 38 for 156 yards, one touchdown and one interception), yet he's probably the team's best pure passer for the time being. Good to go Sunday
Moore (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Moore was a limited practice participant throughout the week before being labeled questionable for Sunday's contest, though he never truly appeared in danger of sitting out. The 24-year-old has come on strong over the past three games with 15 receptions for 237 yards and a touchdown as he continues to lead Carolina's receiving corps.

Looks set to play vs. Buffalo
Moore (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Questionable for Sunday
Moore (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Buffalo, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Moore was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday after suffering a minor hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter of last week's loss to the Falcons. He appears on track to play this Sunday, but fantasy managers will want to make sure before finalizing Week 15 lineups. The Panthers and Bills are scheduled for a 1:00 ET kickoff, meaning inactive lists will be released around 11:30 a.m.

Another limited practice
Moore (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore picked up a hamstring issue near the end of this past Sunday's loss to the Falcons. Coach Arthur Smith considered Moore day-to-day as of Monday, and the wide receiver has followed up that comment with back-to-back capped sessions. Even if he enters the weekend with a designation, Moore doesn't seem to be in much danger of missing the Panthers' Week 15 game at Buffalo.

Limited with hammy
Moore (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Moore was held out late in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Falcons, with head coach Matt Rhule calling the wideout day-to-day when he met with the media Monday. A limited practice to start Week 15 gives Moore a decent shot to suit up this weekend in Buffalo, though he'll have a tough matchup and still has to contend with some of the worst quarterback play in the league, regardless of whether Cam Newton or P.J. Walker in under center.

Begins week day-to-day
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said Monday that Moore (hamstring) is day-to-day after pulling his hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Falcons, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore played 89 percent of the Panthers' offensive snaps in the contest, catching six of 10 targets for 84 yards. Before departing late Sunday, Moore attempted to talk his way into returning to the contest, so he would seem to have a fair shot at being cleared to play Week 15 in Buffalo so long as he can practice in some capacity leading up to the contest. Strong numbers despite knee issue
Moore brought in six of 10 targets for 84 yards in the Panthers' 29-21 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. He also missed some time late in the contest with a knee injury but wanted to come back into the game, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: It remains to be seen how serious the knee issue might be, but the health issue aside, the star wideout had a productive game on an afternoon during which the Panthers passing attack wasn't exactly at its sharpest. Moore's reception total was his best since Week 7, while his yardage tally qualified as his second highest since all the way back in Week 4. Big receiving day in loss
Moore brought in four of 10 targets for 103 yards in the Panthers' 33-10 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: The highlight of Moore's day -- and that of the Panthers as a whole -- came on the wideout's 64-yard grab in the first quarter. Moore would go on to lead the team in receptions and receiving yardage on the night, but considering Carolina netted all of 134 passing yards due to poor performances from both Cam Newton and P.J. Analysis: Moore had another quiet outing, as he's now gone consecutive games with under five catches and 35 yards. Although Carolina switching to quarterbacks P.J. Walker and Cam Newton on Sunday surely impacted the offense, Moore still trailed tailbacks Christian McCaffrey and Ameer Abdullah, as well as fellow wideout Robby Anderson, in yardage. Moore recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants.
Analysis: Moore accounted for 73 of the Panthers' 144 yards through the air Sunday, but he couldn't post a better line due to the poor play of Sam Darnold. He recorded receptions of 21, 19 and 12 yards to pick up most of his yardage and has now logged a catch of at least 20 yards in six of seven contests. Moore has also had consistent volume and racked up double-digit targets in five games this season while falling below 70 yards in a matchup only once.

Leads team in receiving
Moore had five receptions (13 targets) for 73 yards Sunday but also lost a fumble in a 34-28 overtime loss to Minnesota.
Analysis: Moore ended up leading the Panthers in overall receiving production despite Sam Darnold failing to connect with his receiver on eight occasions. The 24-year-old has hit a bit of a rough patch over the last two weeks after hitting the ground running over his first four games this season. On the bright side, Darnold and Moore will have a prime opportunity to get right against a Giants defense that ranks in the bottom third in nearly every defensive category this year.

Moore caught five of seven targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: Moore's two unsuccessful looks both resulted in interceptions by opposing cornerback Darius Slay. Keeps rolling against Cowboys
Moore recorded eight receptions on 12 targets for 113 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 36-28 loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: Moore drew double-digit targets for the third consecutive game and has now surpassed 100 receiving yards in each of his last two contests. Against the Cowboys, he managed big gains of 39 and 29 yards, both of which came primarily after the catch. His touchdowns did come late in the game and with the Panthers down multiple scores. Big game versus Texans
Moore caught eight of 12 targets for 126 yards in Thursday night's 24-9 win over the Texans.
Analysis: Moore was targeted frequently during the first half, helping the Panthers gain first downs with a variety of catches between the numbers. In fact, the wideout hit 100 yards on his six grabs by halftime. Finds end zone against Saints
Moore caught eight of 11 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.
Analysis: For the second straight game, Moore was Sam Darnold's favorite option among Carolina's wideouts, and this time the duo connected on a 20-yard TD strike in the second quarter. Business as usual in opener
Moore caught six of eight targets for 80 yards and added a 14-yard run in Sunday's 19-14 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Carolina's offense flowed primarily through runs and short passes to Christian McCaffrey, but Moore was able to get open consistently when the Panthers looked to push the ball downfield. Coming off consecutive campaigns of 1,175 or more receiving yards, Moore has quickly established a rapport with new Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold. Makes preseason debut
Moore returned from a back injury to record to record six receptions on six targets for 48 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Steelers.
Analysis: Moore was sidelined for both of the team's first two preseason contests -- the latter due to injury. However, he proved his health in the final exhibition, as he led the team in targets, receptions and yards. Half of his catches came on the first drive, with the grabs going for two, two and 11 yards respectively. Moore (back) didn't play in Saturday's preseason loss to the Ravens, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Just two removed from landing hard on his right side while diving for a pass, Moore didn't risk it Saturday while tending to a tight back. Moore (back) was in uniform and warming up prior to Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: The wideout dealt with some back tightness this past week, so it's unclear if he'll actually take the field Saturday. As could be the case with Robby Anderson (hamstring), the Panthers may be inclined to play it safe with their top two wide receivers in the contest and either rest the duo entirely or limit their snaps versus Baltimore.

Dealing with back injury
Moore hurt his back Wednesday and aggravated it Thursday, leading to his early removal from practice, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: The issue was minor, at least initially, given that Moore suited up for Thursday's practice and didn't seem to have any limitations until he aggravated his back. He could miss Saturday's exhibition with Baltimore, but there's been no indication the back injury is more than a day-to-day thing. Moore isn't likely to play in Sunday's preseason contest at Indianapolis, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Coach Matt Rhule will rest most of the starters in the Panthers' exhibition opener but mentioned only Sam Darnold by name. Alas, Darnold's top skill-position teammates should join him, which includes Moore, Robby Anderson and Christian McCaffrey. Moore has produced the past two seasons no matter who was under center, to the tune of at least 1,100 yards and exactly four touchdowns in both campaigns. The Panthers are exercising their fifth-year option on Moore's rookie contract, keeping him under team control through 2022, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

He's scored only 10 touchdowns in 46 games, but the yardage should eventually translate to more trips to the end zone, especially if the Panthers can find a franchise QB. Ankle trending in right direction
Coach Matt Rhule said Monday that Moore, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, is trending in the right direction in terms of rehabbing his ankle, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Moore appears to have made the most of Carolina's bye week while working to recover from his sprained ankle, but it'll be a moot point as far as his Week 14 availability goes unless he can also return from the COVID list. Moore injured his right ankle near the end of Sunday's 28-27 loss at Minnesota, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: On third-and-goal just after the two-minute warning, Moore landed awkwardly on his right leg after attempting to make a leaping grab in the end zone. He required assistance to get off the field and was unable to return, ending his day with four catches (on nine targets) for 61 yards. The Panthers have a Week 13 bye on tap, so Moore will have two weeks to recover before the team's next game, which will come Sunday, Dec. 13, against the Broncos.

Excellent chemistry with Walker
Moore secured seven of 11 targets for 127 yards in the Panthers' 20-0 win over the Lions on Sunday. He also rushed once for 21 yards.
Analysis: A week after a resurgent 96-yard receiving effort against the Buccaneers, Moore one-upped himself while pacing the Panthers in receiving yardage and targets. The 23-year-old recorded a game-high 52-yard grab along the way while displaying a strong connection with spot starter P.J. Walker. Moore's 100-yard receiving effort was only his second of the season, with the other having come Week 2 versus Tampa Bay. He'll look to continue his recent surge with either Teddy Bridgewater (knee) or Walker…read more

Paces pass catchers in loss
Moore brought in four of seven targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 46-23 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: The third-year pro equaled his combined catch total from the prior two games with Sunday's haul, while also exceeding his yardage tally from that span by 23 yards. The latter figure also led the Panthers for the afternoon, with the highlight of the contest coming on a 24-yard touchdown scamper off a receiver screen late in the first quarter. Moore's score was his first since Week 7, and he'll look to stay hot in a Week 11 battle against the vulnerable Lions defense.

Second straight disappointing game
Moore secured two of three targets for 18 yards in the Panthers' 33-31 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: Moore was a forgotten man in the passing game despite Teddy Bridgewater putting the ball up 49 times, leading to the receiver's second straight underwhelming effort. Moore now has back-back two-catch tallies, while his target count Sunday qualified as his lowest of the campaign. The return of Christian McCaffrey, who drew 10 targets, played a part in Moore's downturn in involvement Sunday, and with the star back having suffered a rib injury in the closing seconds of the contest, it's possible…read more

Quiet until late in loss
Moore brought in two of six targets for 55 yards in the Panthers' 25-17 loss to the Falcons on Thursday night.
Analysis: Moore was uncharacteristically blanked until the 2:58 mark of the fourth quarter, when he made a 13-yard grab on the first play of the Panthers' final possession. Moore would also come down with a clutch 42-yard catch in traffic with just 1:47 remaining for his second and final reception of the night. The catch tally matched a season low for Moore, while his targets were relatively modest for the second straight game after he'd logged five looks against the Saints on Sunday. Pair of scores in Week 7 loss
Moore secured four of five targets for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' 27-24 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
Analysis: Despite checking in third in receptions on the team for the afternoon, Moore set the pace in receiving yards, largely due to a game-long 74-yard grab that went for an early second-quarter touchdown. He added a seven-yard scoring catch shortly before halftime, with the pair of trips to the end zone counting as his second and third of the campaign. Moore now has three consecutive 93-yard tallies, and he'll look to boost that up enough to eclipse the century mark for the second time this season…read more

Paces team in receiving Week 6
Moore secured five of his 11 targets for 93 receiving yards during Sunday's 23-16 loss to Chicago.
Analysis: The 23-year-old wideout has been coming on strong following a slow start to the 2020 campaign, as he has amassed exactly 93 receiving yards in each of his past two outings after only once surpassing 65 yards between Weeks 1 and 4. Moore has just one touchdown through the first six weeks of the season, though he wasn't necessarily being counted on for rampant TD production after scoring four times on 87 receptions a year ago. His 11 targets are an encouraging sign as Moore prepares for a Week 7…read more

Secures first TD catch of 2020
Moore caught four of five targets for 93 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 23-16 win against the Falcons.
Analysis: The 2018 first-round pick continues to play second fiddle to Robby Anderson in the Carolina passing attack, as Anderson was two targets short of tripling Moore's share against Atlanta. Regardless, Sunday's outing is encouraging for GMs with investment in Moore, as he corralled his first touchdown from Teddy Bridgewater while registering his second-highest yardage total of 2020. A Week 6 matchup against the Bears provides incentive to consider alternative options as Chicago has allowed an…read more

Season low in receiving
Moore caught four of his six targets for 49 receiving yards during Sunday's 31-21 win against the Cardinals.
Analysis: The Maryland product enjoyed a lucrative Week 2 outing against Tampa Bay, racking up eight catches for 120 yards on his 13 targets. In Moore's other three appearances of 2020, however, the 23-year-old wideout has accumulated 3.3 catches and 56 receiving yards per contest -- certainly not pedestrian production in the fantasy realm, but averages that would land him well short from his 87-catch, 1,175-yard campaign of 2019. Makes two catches
Moore caught two of four targets for 65 yards during Sunday's 21-16 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: Moore struggled to break loose against a talented Chargers defense, although he did post a pair of big gains for all of his production on the day. The switch to Teddy Bridgewater under center has produced mixed results for Moore, who piled up 120 yards on eight catches a week ago and is still on pace for over 1,200 receiving yards through three games. He will look to get back on track next Sunday in what should be a more favorable matchup against the Cardinals.

Explodes in Week 2 loss
Moore secured eight of 13 targets for 120 yards in the Panthers' 31-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: A week after an underwhelming season-opening effort that saw him post a 4-54-0 line, Moore once again saw plenty of attention heaped on him by new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. To the delight of fantasy managers, the results were markedly different, with Moore posting game-high totals in receiving yardage and targets while tying for second in receptions. Through two contests, Moore has now logged a robust 22 targets, an encouraging sign for the trust and chemistry he's manufactured with…read more

Held quiet in Week 1
Moore saw nine targets but managed only four receptions for 54 yards in Week 1 against the Raiders.
Analysis: Moore led the team with nine targets, but both Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel saw only one fewer opportunity. Moore wasn't particularly efficient when the ball came his way, averaging just six yards per target. He is likely still gaining rapport with new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and will be the focus of opposing defenses' gameplan. That may force him to make some adjustments early on this season, but he'll look to get on track in a Week 2 matchup against the Buccaneers.

Surrounded by new faces
Moore is one of the few key holdovers from 2019 for a Panthers team that underwent huge changes in the offseason, ESPN.com's David Newton reports.
Analysis: The new faces include coach Matt Rhule, OC Joe Brady, QB Teddy Bridgewater and WR Robby Anderson, while the crucial departures on offense were TE Greg Olsen, WR Jarius Wright and QBs Kyle Allen and Cam Newton. The switch from Allen to Bridgewater could prove especially fruitful for Moore, who largely made a living on short and intermediate throws during a breakout 2019 campaign. Won't play Sunday
Moore (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore was spotted working out on the side during practice Friday, but the Panthers still determined he wasn't on track to clear the NFL's concussion protocol in advance of Sunday's game. Shaky quarterback play wasn't enough to prevent Moore from enjoying a second-year breakout, with the 2018 first-round pick catching 87 passes for 1,175 yards and four touchdowns on 135 targets in 15 games. Prior to his early exit Week 16, the 22-year-old had ripped off seven games in a row with 75 or more…read more

Works out on side Friday
Moore (concussion) worked out on the side during Friday's practice, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Moore's presence at practice hints toward some progression in the concussion protocol, but since he still wasn't working out with the Panthers' main group, he's looking likely to go down as a non-participant for the third consecutive day. The Panthers will reveal Moore's chances of playing in Week 17 when they release their final injury report of the season.

Not practicing Thursday
Moore (concussion) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Moore is set to go down as a non-participant on the Panthers' first two Week 17 practice reports, indicating he hasn't made much notable progress through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol since sustaining the head injury in Sunday's loss to the Colts. The Panthers have little at stake in the season finale against the Saints, so there's a good chance that Moore ends up sitting out the contest even if his concussion symptoms dissipate as the weekend approaches.

Fails to practice Wednesday
Moore (concussion) is listed as a non-participant Wednesday on the Panthers' estimated practice report, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: As his lack of listed activity suggests, Moore remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, per Getzenberg. Moore still will have two more opportunities to log some practice activity this week but will ultimately need to receive clearance from an independent neurologist to suit up in Sunday's season finale against the Saints.

Still in protocol for head injury
Moore remains in the concussion protocol as of Tuesday, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore left Carolina's Week 16 loss at Indianapolis and eventually entered the protocol, so it's no surprise he still remains there two days later. According to Joe Person of The Athletic, Moore also wasn't spotted during the open portion of Tuesday's unofficial practice. The receiver seems to be trending in the wrong direction for an appearance Sunday against the Saints, but his activity level, if any, won't be revealed until the release of Wednesday's injury report.

In concussion protocol
Moore entered the concussion protocol in the midst of Sunday's game in Indianapolis.
Analysis: Moore managed just one catch (on two targets) for one yard before his departure. Considering one game remains on the schedule, he may be hard-pressed to pass all five phases of the protocol and suit up next Sunday against the Saints. In Moore's absence, Curtis Samuel and Jarius Wright will be the Panthers' clear top wide receivers.

Being examined for head injury
Moore is under evaluation for a concussion during Sunday's game at Indianapolis, Bill Voth of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Moore made a one-yard catch on the Panthers' first possession, but on his second target of the day on the team's next drive, he couldn't haul it in, took a hard landing and slowly got to his feet. He hasn't seen the field in the meantime and won't return if he's diagnosed with a concussion.

Contributes 113 receiving yards
Moore caught eight of 12 targets for 113 yards during Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Seahawks.
Analysis: Moore led the team in targets and receiving yards yet again while tying Christian McCaffrey in receptions. He broke off a long gain of 22 yards and was used consistently with Carolina playing from behind all game. Moore has now topped the 100-yard mark four times over the last seven contests and is averaging an impressive 101.6 yards per game during that span. He will look to continue his breakout season next Sunday against the Colts.

Continues to be high-floor option
Moore caught four of six targets for 81 receiving yards during Sunday's 40-20 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Moore has been one of the surest stocks in fantasy football throughout the latter half of 2019, averaging 99.7 receiving yards per game, reaching the end zone three times and catching at least six passes in every game since Week 9. The upcoming matchup against Seattle is desirable in that the Seahawks entered Week 14 as a bottom-five defense with 269.3 passing yards allowed per game. Scores for second straight game
Moore caught six of 12 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Redskins.
Analysis: Moore led the team in receiving yardage while trailing only Christian McCaffrey in targets. He scored a 13-yard touchdown in the first quarter, giving him three in the last two games after recording just one beforehand. Moore now has at least 70 receiving yards in seven of the last eight games and is averaging 103.4 yards per game over the last five. He'll look to keep it up in a favorable matchup against the Falcons next Sunday.

Practices fully in return to team
Moore (ankle) was a full practice participant Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis: Moore departed Wednesday's session early to attend the birth of his child but was back in action one day later, per Max Henson of the Panthers' official site. Following his return to the fray, Moore will turn his focus to Sunday's matchup with the Redskins, who have allowed 8.9 yards per target and 14 total touchdowns to wide receivers in 11 games this season.

Nursing ankle issue
Moore was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Though the ankle issue was attributed to Moore on the injury report, Joe Person of The Athletic relays that the wideout left the practice session early to tend to a personal matter. With that in mind, it's possible that Moore's ankle injury wouldn't have prevented him from practicing fully had the personal situation not cropped up. In any case, Moore will have two more chances to prove his health in practice before the Panthers return to action Sunday against the Redskins.

Two TDs not enough in loss
Moore caught six of nine targets for 126 yards and two touchdowns while adding an eight-yard rush in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Saints.
Analysis: Moore turned the tide with a 51-yard touchdown in the first quarter after New Orleans jumped out to a 14-0 lead. He later helped Carolina finally pull even with a two-yard score in the fourth. Unfortunately for the second-year wideout, that effort wasn't enough, as Wil Lutz kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to win it for New Orleans. Team's top target in Week 11 loss

Analysis: The second-year wideout continues to capitalize on a high-volume workload, tallying six-plus receptions and 70-plus receiving yards over five of his past six outings. During that span he's been regarded as the clear WR1 in Carolina's passing attack, averaging 10.5 targets per game and never having fewer than eight passes thrown his way. Second consecutive 100-yard game
Moore caught nine of 11 targets for 120 yards during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Moore led the team in targets, catches and yards as he accounted for nearly half of the team's receiving yardage. The output was a season high for Moore, who finished with his first 100-yard game of the campaign last week. Moore is clearly developing a strong rapport with Kyle Allen and will look to build on his recent dominance next Sunday against the Falcons.

Surpasses 100 receiving yards
Moore hauled in seven of his 10 targets for 101 yards in Week 9 against the Titans.
Analysis: Moore took advantage of being targeted at least 10 times for the first time with Kyle Allen under center by turning in his first 100-yard receiving game of the season. He relied on four catches of more than 10 yards for the majority of his production, narrowly missing out on a touchdown on a 32 yard-reception when he was pushed out of bounds one yard shy of the end zone.
