The Falcons signed Jones to a reserve/future contract Monday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Jones found work on the Falcons' practice squad in late December and will now remain in Atlanta after agreeing to a reserve/future contract Monday. The 24-year-old went undrafted in 2024 after throwing for 2,219 yards, 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in his final collegiate season at Cincinnati.

The Falcons signed Jones to the practice squad Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Jones had been without a team for most of the 2024 season after failing to make the Ravens' 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. McElhaney relays that Jones was added to the Falcons' practice squad to emulate Jayden Daniels on the scout team ahead of Atlanta's game against Washington on Sunday.

Jones was waived by the Ravens on Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: With the deadline for final rosters looming, Jones ultimately did not make the cut. He was competing with Devin Leary for the No. 3 role under center behind Lamar Jackson and Josh Johnson.
