Pre-Season Outlook
Likely is probably the best pass catcher among backup tight ends in the NFL, but even with the Ravens talking up the possibility of using more multi-TE formations in 2024, he's unlikely to go beyond three or four targets per game while Mark Andrews is healthy. Likely has played 23 games alongside Andrews, and the 2022 fourth-round pick has a meager 254 yards and one touchdown in those games. With Andrews out of the picture for 10 games over the past two seasons, Likely stepped up with 530 yards and seven TDs. If Andrews were to get hurt again, Likely would be startable in most fantasy leagues. Until then, the 24-year-old is little more than a bench stash, or perhaps a Plan B for anyone that drafts Andrews.
