The Texans signed Kelly to the practice squad Thursday.
Analysis: Kelly was unable to crack the Cowboys' 53-man roster, but he'll stay in-state with the Texans on the team's practice squad. The undrafted rookie out of Texas Tech finished the preseason with two catches (on six targets) for 25 yards across 68 offensive snaps in three games.
