The Texans waived Lachey on Tuesday.

Analysis: Houston selected Lachey in the seventh round of April's NFL Draft, and he caught five of six targets for 21 yards over three preseason games. Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Lachey will likely land on the Texans' practice squad if he clears waivers.
