James was waived by the Vikings on Monday, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Analysis: James joined Minnesota as a 2024 undrafted free agent out of Mercer. In a corresponding move, the Vikings signed fellow wideout Justin Hall.
