Good enough in Week 11
Bass made his only field-goal try and converted three of his four extra-point attempts during Sunday's 30-21 win versus the Chiefs.
Analysis: Bass' lone field goal was the same length as an extra point, so he basically went 4-for-5 from that range Sunday. He's been noticeably shakier on extra points this season than years past, but thankfully for Buffalo, his miss in Week 11 wasn't costly. He'll be trying to clean up that part of his game after the Bills' bye in Week 12.

Makes three field goals Sunday
Bass converted on all three of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 30-20 win over the Colts.
Analysis: Bass has now been perfect on his field-goal attempts across the team's last three games after struggling earlier in the season. He has now gone 15-for-18 on field-goal attempts and 27-for-30 on extra-point attempts across nine games this season.

Makes huge game-winning kick
Bass made all three of his field-goal tries and converted one of his two extra-point attempts during Sunday's 30-27 win versus the Dolphins.
Analysis: Bass's missed extra point in the third quarter would have been high on the list of reasons the Bills couldn't come out on top Sunday, but instead, he later nailed a 61-yard field goal -- a new Bills franchise record -- with five seconds remaining in the game to deliver the win for Buffalo. He'll still be looking to sharpen his accuracy on point-after attempts (he's a disappointing 27-for-30 this season) heading into a Week 10 matchup at Indianapolis.

One field goal in win
Bass made his only field-goal attempt while going 4-for-4 on PATs in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: Bass nailed his only field goal from 27 yards out in the third quarter. The kicker has yet to have more than two field goals in any game this season, and he's now gone 12-for-15 on field-goal tries through eight games.

Perfect in easy win
Bass made both of his two field-goal tries and converted all four of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 34-10 win versus the Titans.
Analysis: The longest field goal Bass made in Week 7 (30 yards) was actually shorter than an extra point, so his share of Buffalo's points came with relative ease. He's been mostly solid so far this season and should have a high fantasy floor as long as the Bills' offense keeps putting up points in bunches.

Set to kick Sunday
Coach Sean McDermott confirmed Friday that Bass will handle the Bills' kicking duties Sunday against the Titans, Maddy Glab of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Though the Bills signed Lucas Havrisik to their practice squad Thursday, the team will stick with Bass this weekend. Through six games to date, Bass -- who has been Buffalo's kicker since 2020 -- has gone 9-for-12 on field-goal tries and made 18 of his 20 extra-point attempts.

Job less safe
The Bills signed Lucas Havrisik to the practice squad Thursday, shortly after general manager Brandon Beane made some comments about Bass's recent struggles.
Analysis: "We do have some kickers," Beane said earlier this week as reported by the Bills' official site. "We're gonna work them out this afternoon after practice," Beane said. "T-Bass would be the first to tell you it hasn't gone the way he would like it. And, quite frankly, the way we like it." Bass is a tolerable 9-for-12 on field goals, but his misses have been ugly, including a downright shank in Monday's win over the Jets that even a terrible golfer would find cringeworthy. He's also missed two…read more

Hits both field goals vs. Houston
Bass converted both of his field-goal attempts and made both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Texans.
Analysis: Bass got the Bills on the board in the first quarter with a 38-yard field-goal make. He had to wait until the second half to kick again, with both of his extra-point tries coming in the third quarter before capping off his day with a 33-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter. Through the first five games of the regular season, Bass has gone 8-for-10 on field-goal attempts and 16-for-17 on extra-point tries. Misses one in loss
Bass made his lone extra-point try and one of his two field-goal attempts in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Bass's miss came in the fourth quarter from 48 yards out and was his second failed attempt on the season in eight tries. However, he was successful from 50 yards out earlier in the contest. He and the Bills will look to get back on track in Week 5 against the Texans.

Near perfect in lopsided win
Bass converted both of his field-goal attempts and five of six extra-point tries during Buffalo's 47-10 win over the Jaguars.
Analysis: Bass logged his first PAT miss of the year on Monday night, after having missed one of two field-goal tries Week 2. Josh Allen has lead Buffalo's offense to 30-plus points in all three of its regular-season games so far, and, as a result, Bass currently leads the league with 13 converted PATs despite his one miss Monday. The Bills now face a tougher test Week 4 against Baltimore.

Converts one of two FGAs in win
Bass converted one of two field-goal attempts during Thursday's 31-10 win over the Dolphins. He also made all four of his extra-point tries.
Analysis: Bass missed a field-goal try wide left from 45 yards out in the fourth quarter, but his number of extra-point attempts bolstered his production for a second straight week. As long as Josh Allen and the Bills offense can keep up its momentum, Bass will benefit from plentiful scoring opportunities again Week 3 against the Jaguars on Monday Night Football.

Perfect in victory
Bass made all four extra-point attempts and two field goals in Sunday's 34-28 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Bass didn't miss Sunday, first connecting on a 37-yard FGA and then a 39-yarder in the final minutes that extended the Bills lead to 6. With four successful PATs included, it was a perfect Week 1 for the veteran kicker. Next up for Bass and the Bills is a divisional matchup Thursday against the Dolphins.

Ups and downs in 2023 season
Bass made 24 out of 29 field-goal attempts and 49 of 50 extra-point tries in 17 regular-season games in 2023.
Analysis: It's the postseason that really leaves a pimple on Bass's season, as he made just two of five field-goal attempts over two playoff games, including a 44-yarder that would have tied the divisional-round loss to the Chiefs with 1:43 left to play. The 121 points for Bass in the regular season represented his worst total in four NFL campaigns and put him in the 15th spot among all kickers, disappointing considering the Bills were sixth in the NFL in points scored.

Limited to cameos in thriller
Bass was true on all three of his extra-point attempts and did not attempt a field goal in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Dolphins.
Analysis: In a 1958 style of box score, neither team even attempted a field-goal try, as the two offenses settled the score in what ultimately decided the AFC East crown for the Bills. Bass finishes the regular season with 121 points, which ranks 15th among all kickers for the 2023 campaign. This is a bit of a disappointment given that the Bills have one of the NFL's better offenses and that Bass finished in a tie for sixth among kicker scoring in both 2022 and 2021. Locked in as postseason draws near
Bass made both of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point kicks in Sunday's 27-21 win over the Patriots.
Analysis: It's never easy kicking in Buffalo in December, but the weather has actually been fairly tame over the past two home games and Bass has delivered as he's known to do. Bass still hasn't missed a kick since Week 12, and he's now posted 118 points on the season, working his way up to a tie for 11th in kicker scoring. The Buffalo offense will not be resting any key players in what could be a do-or-die situation (or at least a key game for the divisional title and the AFC's No. 2 seed) when the…read more

Every kick needed in tight win
Bass made his lone field-goal try and all three of his extra point-attempts in Saturday's 24-22 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: The field goal was an easy one of just 29 yards, but the fourth-quarter make with just 28 seconds left may have saved the season, as the 9-6 squad is in the thick of a playoff chase and couldn't really afford a loss to the reeling Chargers after impressive victories over the Chiefs and Cowboys. Bass hasn't missed a kick since Week 12, and he's up to 109 points on the season. That puts him into a tie for 10th in kicker scoring, though he'll likely drop to 13th after Monday's games are completed.…read more

Scores seven points
Bass made his only field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Cowboys.
Analysis: Bass's field goal came from 23 yards. After a prolonged slump during the middle of the season, Bass has now notched at least seven points in four straight games. Overall, his 103 points are tied for 13th among kickers league-wide.

Important kicks in close victory
Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: This was as close of a game as you could have between two perennial playoff teams -- one that came with a controversial ending -- and all of Bass's kicks mattered, namely his 39-yard make with 1:57 left to play that ultimately proved to be the difference in the final score. After an extremely dry run from Week 5 to Week 10, Bass has now put up 32 points over the last three games, moving him up to a more palatable 13th spot among kickers entering Monday night action.

Comes through in clutch
Bass made both of his field goal and extra-point attempts in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Bass was perfect on the day, first connecting on a 31-yard attempt on the Bills' first drive of the second half to build a 17-7 lead. He then followed with a 39-yard make with 1:57 remaining in the game to give Buffalo a 20-17 lead and ultimately the win. The fourth-year kicker is now 20-for-25 this season on FGAs and 36 of 37 on PATs. Bass and the Bills will next travel to Dallas for a Week 15 matchup.

Second straight double-digit outing
Bass was 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: While it was a nice fantasy performance put forth by Bass, it was the misses that proved costly to the Bills in a loss that could ultimately cost them a playoff spot. One was a blocked kick, and the other was a 48-yard attempt. While he hasn't been awful, Bass's current 78.3 percent rate on field goals would be a career low in what has overall been a fine career by the fourth-year kicker out of Georgia Southern. Breaks through as offense recovers
Bass made all four field-goal attempts (48, 30, 33, 50) and two of three extra-point tries in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets.
Analysis: The 14 points is a new season high for Bass, and it exceeds his previous three outings combined, where he posted 12 total points as the Bills offense sputtered, to the point where offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired prior to Sunday's game. We'll see if the team's potentially elite offense has found another gear or if it was just a one-week boost, though it's worth noting Buffalo's schedule is brutal -- the Bills finish with games at Philadelphia, at Kansas City, Dallas, at the Chargers,…read more

Another disappointing total
Bass made both of his extra-point kicks and did not have a field-goal attempt in Monday's 24-22 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Over his last six games, Bass has posted a terrible total of 21 points scored, less than his two-game total of 25 he provided in Weeks 3-4. Bass hasn't been a bad kicker by any means, making 12 of his 15 field-goal attempts and all 28 of his extra-point tries. Instead, those rostering him have been burned by Buffalo's turnover-itis in recent times, and the team no longer seems to be able to score like it did in past seasons. Makes both kicks
Bass made his only field-goal attempt and lone extra-point try in Sunday night's 24-18 loss to the Bengals.

Pitches in with six points
Bass converted his only field-goal attempt and hit all three extra-point tries in Thursday's 24-18 win over Tampa Bay.
Analysis: The promising sign is that the Bills moved the ball better than they have in weeks, but they keep falling just short of Bass's comfort zone. Consequently, they had plenty of success pinning the Buccaneers deep on punts Thursday. Bass looked smooth on all four kicks after missing three field-goal tries over the last two games and posted his largest point total since Week 4, so perhaps he's back on track as the Bills prepare for a Week 9 game in Cincinnati.

Low output continues
Bass scored five points in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Patriots, connecting on one of two field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries.
Analysis: Bass has now missed three field-goal attempts over the last two weeks, his only three misses of the season. The wind has certainly played a factor, as his miss in Week 7 looked good most of the way until a gust put it on a similar trajectory to a Clayton Kershaw breaking ball. Given Bass's track record, his slump should just be temporary amid a greater slump for the team, but he's definitely been knocked down a peg after posting just nine total points over the last three games.

Puts up primetime dud
Bass missed both of his field-goal tries while knocking in both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday night's 14-9 win over the Giants.
Analysis: To be fair, the field-goal attempts were from 52 and 53 yards on a night where the wind was blowing with some decent force at times, but those are the types of kicks Bass has made throughout his career, and they almost proved costly when the Bills were forced to stop the Giants on the one-yard line to secure a tight win in a game they were heavy favorites. Lowest output of season
Bass made both of his extra-point tries and didn't attempt a field goal in Buffalo's 25-20 loss to Jacksonville in London on Sunday.
Analysis: Bass was the victim of the Bills falling behind after the offense got off to a sluggish start, and he finished with a season-low scoring figure. This was also his first game in 2023 without a field-goal attempt. On a more positive note, Bass has yet to miss a single kick all season, making all nine of his FG tries while going a perfect 18-for-18 on extra-point tries. Bass is still a solid seventh in scoring among kickers, with 45 points on the campaign.

Another big outing
Bass tallied 12 points in Sunday's 48-20 win over the Dolphins, making both of his field-goal tries and successfully making the extra point on all six of Buffalo's touchdowns.
Analysis: Bass has been flawless through four games, going 9-for-9 on field-goal attempts (including 3-for-3 from 50-plus) and making all 16 of his extra-point tries. Between his accurate leg and Buffalo's standing as the No. 2 scoring offense, he's a top-five kicker right now in almost any format. Bass currently sits fourth on the NFL scoring list with 43 points, behind only Dallas' Brandon Aubrey, Philadelphia's Jake Elliott and the Rams' Brett Maher.

Plays role in offensive outburst
Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts and was 4-for-4 on extra points in Sunday's 37-3 win over the Commanders
Analysis: Bass has 31 points already on the season, currently tied for third in the league among kickers. He's also been even more accurate than usual, going 7-for-7 on field goals -- including two from 50-plus -- while knocking in all 10 of his extra-point attempts. Misses one kick in preseason finale
Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and hit all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's preseason win over Chicago.
Analysis: Unless Steve Christie or Nick Mike-Mayer retired in Western New York, we don't believe there's another kicker with professional experience within a 100 miles of Buffalo, so Bass is as safe a roster lock as it is heading into a challenging Week 1 matchup against the Jets. Whiffs on extra point
Bass made his only field-goal attempt -- a 40-yarder -- and was 2-of-3 on extra-point attempts in Saturday's preseason win over the Colts.
Analysis: The extra-point miss was a rarity for Bass, who's hit 99 of them on 101 attempts over the last two regular seasons, so we'll chalk it up as an anomaly. He has no competition ahead of the season and is locked into the starting kicker role for his fourth NFL campaign. Bass has reportedly looked great in training camp as well. Perfect on point-after attempts
Bass converted all five of his extra-point tries and didn't attempt a field goal during Buffalo's 35-23 win over New England on Sunday.
Analysis: Bass was close to perfect all season, making 27 of 31 field-goal attempts while missing just two of 50 extra-point tries. Late in the season, his production dropped off once the Bills developed a knack for either scoring touchdowns or turning the ball over in the red zone. Struggles in nasty weather
Bass missed his only field-goal attempt -- a 38-yarder -- and was 3-of-4 on extra-point tries in Saturday's win over the Bears.
Analysis: Bass has been locked in all season, as the field-goal miss was his first since Week 9, so this can probably be easily forgiven, though he and the Bills were clearly frustrated with either the kicking conditions or the kicking game, as they went for two points at one point when an extra-point try would have normally been the call. Key role as Bills get needed win
Bass connected on both field-goal tries and two of three extra-point tries in Thursday's win over the Lions.

Major role in challenging week

Analysis: The game was moved to Detroit and perfect conditions due to a snowstorm in Buffalo, and perhaps nobody benefited more than the third-year kicker, as we have to imagine it would have been tough to make six field goals in a game that would have been greatly affected by weather. Perfect in defeat
Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: Bass hit a 29-yarder to send the game to overtime after converting field goals from 34 and 45 yards earlier in the game. His 12 total points marked a season high and brought him up to fifth among kickers in points this term.

Costly miss in divisional loss
Bass was 1-for-2 on field goals and made both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Jets.
Analysis: The miss can be easily forgiven, as it was a 55-yard try with some wind to deal with, but that doesn't make it any easier to stomach for the Buffalo faithful. Bass sits in a tie for 10th in scoring entering Monday's play, which can actually be viewed as a mild disappointment given that he was generally one of the top three kickers off the board. For the season, Bass is 12-of-15 on field-goal attempts and has made all 26 of his extra-point tries.

Notches nine points
Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday night's 27-17 win over the Packers.
Analysis: Bass converted field goals from 42 and 38 yards. His nine points marked his third most in a game this season, with his overall tally of 57 putting him just outside the top 10 for kickers league-wide.

Perfect in big win
Bass made his only field-goal try -- a 39-yarder -- and all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: While the volume wasn't high, as the Bills got into the end zone three times and also had both a red-zone turnover and a red-zone drive end on downs, Bass was perfect on the day, a level he's been close to all season. The third-year kicker has missed two of 11 field-goal attempts and is a perfect 21-for-21 on extra points, something he hasn't missed on during the past two regular seasons. Bass currently sits sixth in the NFL in kicker scoring with 48 points.

Has kick blocked
Bass missed one of two field-goal attempts but made all five of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 38-3 win over the Steelers.
Analysis: Bass had a 49-yard field goal blocked in the first quarter, but he rallied to convert from 35 yards on the next drive. With Buffalo's offense having another big day, he got a handful more PATs to his name, bringing his season tally to 42 points, which ranks third among kickers league-wide.

Hits walk-off kick in Week 4 win
Bass made all three of his field-goal tries -- including the game-winner as time expired -- in Sunday's win over the Ravens. He also made both extra-point tries.
Analysis: The capable Bass has only missed one kick all season, with a 7-for-8 performance on field goals while making all 13 of his extra-point tries. In fact, Bass is perfect on 64 extra-point tries over the last two seasons and hasn't missed one since Week 14 of 2020. Bass is currently tied for fifth in the league with 34 points, as he continues to be a reliable fantasy kicker.

Misses first kick of season
Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made both of his extra-point kicks in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: The miss was Bass's first of any type on the season, but it was a costly one as the Bills lost by two points. Bass is now 4-of-5 on field-goal tries while hitting all 11 of his extra-point attempts on the campaign. He remains one of the elite kickers in fantasy, though it's worth noting the high-powered Buffalo offense did suffer a series of injuries in the loss.

Impressive 11 points on MNF
Bass made both of his field-goal tries and all five extra-point attempts during Monday's 41-7 win over the Titans.
Analysis: Through two weeks, Bass has posted 18 points, good for a tie for fifth among kickers. Given that he's in a high-powered offense, there's little reason Bass shouldn't be a top-10 guy all season, which is exactly where he was drafted in fantasy leagues. Bass has made all 12 of his kicks this season, which consists of three field goals and nine extra points. He and the Bills get the Dolphins in Miami this week in what could be a high-scoring contest.

Nets seven points
Bass made his only field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in Week 1's 31-10 win over the Rams.
Analysis: Bass converted from 41 yards on his lone field goal, helping him total seven points to begin the campaign. As the kicker for one of the league's better offenses, Bass should have plenty of scoring opportunities this season.

Big numbers in second season
Bass finished the 2021 season with 135 points, converting on 28 of 32 field-goal attempts and all 51 of his extra-point tries.
Analysis: Missing only four of 83 kicks is pretty amazing considering the conditions Bass faces in Buffalo, and he's proven to be worth a rare draft selection as a placekicker -- he was chosen in the sixth round of the 2020 Draft. The point total landed Bass in a tie for sixth in the league, and there's little reason to suspect he won't be a top-10 guy again next season given the high-powered offense supporting him, one with an elite quarterback that isn't going anywhere for the next several seasons.

Low total in flukey game
Bass made all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 29-15 win over the Falcons. He did not have a field-goal attempt.
Analysis: The scoring got a bit crooked when the Falcons picked up a safety to open the scoring, which caused the Bills to go for two at one point when it made sense to do so. Couple that with Buffalo's red-zone success in the contest and Bass was used only slightly more than punter Matt Haack, who somehow hasn't had a single punt in the last two games. Chips in during major win
Bass put up nine points in Sunday's 33-21 victory over the Patriots, converting both field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts.
Analysis: Bass and the Bills got some revenge on their division rival from what was an awful performance in a humbling loss three weeks ago. Bass has been perfect since that game, making all five field-goal tries and all 10 extra-point attempts over the last three games. Posts seven in easy win
Bass made his only field-goal try and all four extra-point attempts in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Panthers.
Analysis: Bass's accuracy has been fantastic just about all season, as he's made 24 of 28 field-goal attempts and is perfect on 42 extra points. Wise fantasy managers have used Bass to ride the coattails of a strong Buffalo offense the past two seasons. If that's helped result in a deep playoff run into Week 16, the bummer is it's a road trip to New England this week. If you can get past that awful matchup, the Bills get a nice finish to the season with home games against the Falcons and Jets.

Flawless in tight loss
Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's overtime loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Bass's nine points were the most he's put up since Week 10, as he was needed often during the Bills' second-half scoring surge. Bass now sits in a tie for fifth among NFL kickers with 107 points on the season. While he kicks for a bad weather team that has three home games left on the slate, that's likely offset by the team's ease of schedule, as Buffalo faces Carolina, Atlanta and the Jets in three of the final four weeks.

Costly miss in divisional loss
Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try in Monday's 14-10 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: The fourth-quarter miss -- while understandable given the outrageous winds -- really hurt the Bills, as on their next (and final) drive they were well into New England territory but now needed a touchdown to win instead of a field goal, had Bass converted on the previous drive. The four-point output represents Bass's second-lowest game of the season, while his 98 points on the campaign sits tied for fifth among kickers. Analysis: Like the rest of his team, Bass got back on the horse following a forgettable performance in a blowout loss to the Colts in Week 11. Roughest outing of season
Bass missed both field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try during Sunday's 41-15 loss to the Colts.
Analysis: The field-goal misses were Bass's first misfires since he missed his only attempt all the way back in Week 2, and to be fair, one of them Sunday was a 57-yarder that doinked the upright. Plain and simple, it just wasn't Bass's day (or any other Bill for that matter in the humiliating loss), and he remains a top kicker for fantasy purposes. The one-point outing did drop him down to third in league scoring at 87 points, though he remains second among kickers behind only Nick Folk.

Bass connected on both of his field-goal tries in Sunday's 9-6 upset loss to Jacksonville.
Analysis: While the team's performance was maddening for Bills fans, the second-year kicker has not been a problem at all this season. Bass connected on both field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries during Sunday's 26-11 win over the Dolphins.
Analysis: The second-year kicker continues to produce on an offense that has plenty of weapons to keep the scoreboard operator busy, while he's proven quite accurate in his young career. Bass is a near perfect 16-for-17 on field-goal attempt on the season and has made all 23 of his extra-point tries. That's Justin Tucker territory. Analysis: Almost everyone got in on the party for the Bills on Sunday, and Bass was no exception, posting his second double-digit outing of the young season and his best game to date. On the season, Bass is almost perfect, connecting on six of seven field-goal tries and all 10 extra-point attempts. Bass's 28 points currently puts him into a tie for fifth among kickers.

Bass made all five of his extra-point tries and missed his only field-goal attempt (a 53-yarder) in Buffalo's win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: The five points is pretty disappointing when your team puts up 35, but that comes with the territory as the Bills were producing nothing but touchdowns vs. the helpless Dolphins. At least Bass managers got five more points than those of Jason Sanders on the other side of the box score. Through two contests, Bass has a modest 15 points while going 3-for-4 on field goals and 6-for-6 in extra points.

Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts -- from 37, 25 and 42 yards -- and his only extra-point try in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Bass was a big point producer in his 2020 rookie campaign, finishing fourth among NFL kickers while augmenting the high-powered Buffalo offense quite nicely. Rough night for kickers
Bass converted just one of three-field goal attempts while making both of his extra-point tries in Saturday's playoff win over the Ravens.
Analysis: This was one of the more brutal wind conditions the NFL has seen in a big game, and both kickers paid the price. Justin Tucker, arguably the greatest kicker in this generation, doinked two off the uprights and finished with the same 1-of-3 line as Bass. The rookie will get at least one more game to finish on a positive note in what's been a decent debut season, though weather could also be an issue with either Buffalo or Kansas City being the two possible venues for the AFC Championship Game.

He's also started to put together a nice stat line following a rocky start to his rookie season, as he now sits with a 28-for-34 (82 percent) mark on field-goal attempts and is 49-of-51 on extra-point tries. Bass made all three of his field-goal tries in Sunday's loss to Arizona, from 54, 55 and 58 yards. He also made all three of his extra-point tries.
Analysis: Bass became only the second kicker in NFL history -- Justin Tucker being the other -- to make three 50-plus yarders in the first half of a game. The rookie has a big leg, and he has some decent job security after connecting on 22 of 28 field-goal attempts (78.6 percent) and 31 of 32 extra-point tries so far this season. Bass made three of four field-goal attempts and all five extra points in Sunday's 44-34 win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: Bass missed five field goals over eight games leading up to this outing, but Sunday's misfire shouldn't be held against the rookie. Coach Sean McDermott rolled Bass out for a 61-yard attempt in the winding seconds of the first half, and while he had enough leg on a windless day, he pushed it wide right. Makes game-winning FG
Bass made his lone field-goal attempt and all three-extra point attempts during Sunday's 24-21 win over the Patriots.
Analysis: The 23-year-old was called upon for eight field-goal attempts last week (he made six), but his only attempt Sunday was the game-winner, as he converted from 28 yards to break a 21-21 tie with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. Bass has endured an up-and-down rookie campaign, going 13-for-18 on field-goal attempts and 21-for-22 on extra-point attempts through eight games. Bass made six of eight field-goal attempts in Buffalo's 18-10 win over the Jets on Sunday.
Analysis: The misses were not pretty and could have led to an embarrassing defeat for the Bills in what was a surprisingly close game most of the afternoon. However, the rookie sixth-rounder pushed through and ended up making kicks of 53, 48, 46, 37, 29 and 40 yards. One ugly miss
Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal tries and made both of his extra-point attempts in Monday's loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: The miss was on a 52-yarder to end the half and was wide enough right to say the golfer's equivalent would be pushing a drive all the way over to the other fairway. The rookie was true on his other three attempts, which all in all isn't too bad on a chilly, misty day, Bass' first experience with Buffalo's sometimes inclement weather. Misses extra point
Bass made a 34-yard field goal and three of four extra-point attempts in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: The rookie sixth-rounder hasn't tried a field goal from beyond 40 yards yet this season, but that can be chalked up to the Bills' strong offensive efficiency. However, it's a bit concerning that Bass has attempted just two field goals over the past three weeks, so his fantasy value has been overly reliant on extra points. That's not a great recipe for success, but it may be worth holding onto a kicker tied to this offense.

Bass made all five of his extra-point tries but didn't attempt a field goal in Sunday's 35-32 win over the Rams.
Analysis: Bass did all that was required of him on a day Buffalo scored all five of its touchdowns from inside the five-yard line. Flawless Week 2
Bass connected on his only field-goal try -- a 39-yarder -- and made all four extra-point attempts in Sunday's win over Miami.
Analysis: The field goal was ultimately the difference in the 31-28 win, as Bass looked a lot more comfortable than a shaky Week 1 that might have had some questioning why he was kept over longtime veteran Stephen Hauschka. Bass should have some leash as an actual draft pick -- rare for a kicker -- though playing for a team that should be in contention this season and having a number of important games will mean he'll have to produce like he did in Week 2.

Posts first NFL points
Bass was good on two of four field-goal attempts in Sunday's win over the Jets while converting all three of his extra-point attempts.
Analysis: The sixth-round rookie who beat out veteran Stephen Hauschka will certainly never forget his first NFL attempt, as replays showed the kick was actually good yet officials inexplicably ruled it as wide right. Bass's second attempt was well off, but he re-grouped to make two shorties (22 and 19) that provided valuable insurance for the Bills. While he looked a little shaky, posting nine points -- and having a legit excuse for one of his misses -- likely keeps Bass in the safe zone for now.

Only kicker in camp
Bass is the Bills' only kicker following the release of Stephen Hauschka.
Analysis: It's not entirely surprising that Bass was kept after being drafted by the Bills in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He's thus poised to replace Hauschka, who had kicked for the team since 2017. The Georgia Southern product has a strong leg, but his fantasy upside as a rookie hinges on how well Buffalo's Josh Allen-helmed offense clicks this season.

Makes push in kicking competition
Bass intensified the Bills' kicking competition with a strong performance in Thursday's practice, Mark Gaughan of The Buffalo News reports.
Analysis: Bass is currently aiming to displace veteran kicker Stephen Hauschka ahead of his first NFL season. Although the sixth-rounder started the week with a few misses, his powerful leg was on display Thursday, when he converted six of seven field-goal attempts, including a couple from over 50 yards. In contrast, the 35-year-old Hauschka missed all three of his tries from that range, adding intrigue as the two continue to battle throughout training camp.

To battle with Hauschka
Special teams coordinator Heath Farwell confirmed Friday that Stephen Hauschka will enter the summer as the team's top kicker, but Bass will have a chance to unseat the veteran in an open competition, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. "Then you have a young player like Tyler who is loaded with talent," Farwell said. "He has a lot of ton of upside, but he's got to prove it in the preseason and training camp."
Analysis: Hauschka has been Buffalo's kicker for three seasons, and while he's lost some accuracy and leg strength from his Seattle days, he's done fairly well in a tough climate, especially on pressure kicks. Coach Sean McDermott also values leadership, which Hauschka provides. That said, Bass has a booming leg and is the rare kicker that actually got drafted, so it's a competition not to be dismissed. Perhaps with the extra roster flexibility rules for 2020, the Bills might even be sold into keeping…read more

Signs rookie deal
Bass has signed his rookie deal with the Bills, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis: Bass and his booming leg were taken out of Georgia State in the sixth round of the recent draft. It'll be tough for him to unseat incumbent Stephen Hauschka with what could be a limited tryout this summer, though the Bills did select him for a reason. With slightly expanded rosters there's a decent chance the Bills keep him around, at minimum, as a kickoff and long field goal specialist.
