The Dawg Pound Nudges Past Motor City Kitties to Capture 8th Place
In an epic battle between the third- and fourth-highest-scoring teams of the week, The Dawg Pound snipped Motor City Kitties 190.50 to 189.00. This is the most a team has scored this season without getting a victory. The loss drops Motor City Kitties to 10-4 (3rd place) and puts an end to their three-game winning streak. The final score was a bit surprising given that The Dawg Pound was only expected to score 89.00 points and Motor City Kitties was projected to score 106.00 points. Sam Darnold (347 Pas Yds, 5 TD) got the second-highest score of the week (62.00) and Jamien Sherwood scored 21.50 points to lead The Dawg Pound. Motor City Kitties was led by Jared Goff (283 Pas Yds, 3 TD/1 Int), who put up 50.00 points, and Josh Jacobs (66 Rsh Yds, 3 TD), who finished with 24.00. That pair topped their scoring projections by 92.3% and 100.0%, respectively.
